Sharing Another Card with You....
Good morning everyone! I'm back again this morning to share another card I made for Heartfelt Creations. This card was one I was going to share with you last Wednesday, but didn't get to because my computer was down. For all the products used and the instructions you can visit the Heartfelt Creations blog. Everything is listed there as well as all the other projects and designs from the rest of the design team. I'm sure you will get lots of inspiration while you are there.
I know this is short and sweet, but I slept in this morning and I have a ton of things to get done today so that's it for me today. I hope you enjoy my card as much as I enjoyed making it!

Yep, that's me...I'm trying to gain new followers so if you come visit, please become a follower and let's try and get me over the hump! My friend that gave me the award is 505whinseygirl.blogspot.com and it seems she is in the same boat as me! So go visit her and if you like what you see, just become a follower and help her along too!

Breathe!...Breathe!....Breathe!! Good Cleansing Breath.....
Good morning everyone. It has been a crazy couple of days, but I have been a busy bee! I have new programs loaded and files transferred from a back-up and did lose quite a few things, but I will survive! I have really had to practice what I preach! Sometimes that can be a bitter pill! Hehehe...
This morning I want to share a new card with you! I received a new die from Marianne Designs and I have to say, you will be seeing a lot of it in the coming days! I simply adore the die and can see so many uses for it. So here is my card:
My lighting was not the best, but I think you can see the detail on the corner piece. Quite lovely I think! This would be gorgeous on the top of a tag too! Hmmm....maybe that will be next!
I added some pretty paper, some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, Spellbinders dies and I'm sorry but I have no idea who makes the sentiment stamp. My mind is a blank slate as I write this. So please forgive me and I promise to do better.
So what do you have planned for today? I'm still playing catch-up and trying to remember all the places I liked to visit but I'm slowly getting around to everyone! So whatever you are doing and wherever you are, just take a moment and "Breathe"!

Just So You Know.....
I have just finished a week in the dark and it has not been fun! My computer crashed and burned and I have had to wait to receive a new tower and get started again! I had no idea how much I relied on the Internet as my window to the world until this past week. Since I'm technically challenged with no fancy phone or laptop or any other device that I could use to get to the Internet, I've been sitting here in the dark thinking about all my blogging friends and how very much I miss everyone!
Well, the new computer has arrived and I vow to never be left like this again. I'm having my old tower repaired and if it cannot be fixed, then I will have something else to help me along! Bear with me as I get programs installed and up and running. I lost several pictures and some information folders because I didn't do a back-up when I should have, so this might take a little bit!
So please don't give up on me and move on! I'm still here....just a little battered at this point!

A Quick Card.....
Every time I do a card that has anything purple on it, I'm inspired by a blog friend Selma Stevenson. She loves purple and a lot of her cards incorporate this color. I love purple, but seldom use it and I don't know why. I needed a quick card and had just received a new Marianne designs embossing and cutting folder and so I began the process. What color do I use behind the cut out part and what kind of flowers....well I came up with purple and then some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers tinted with Ranger Distress Ink and a few leaves from there too and the card is ready to go. My new embossing folder came from Joan's Creations. This is an Anja design and so elegant I think. Years ago I used to purchase embossing stencils designed by Anja. Now I can get the best of both worlds! This could also be a Valentine card if you used pink or red behind this.....hmmm....maybe I will be showing you a red one soon!
So what are you doing today? I have some house work to do today. I'd rather be playing, but sometimes you just have to do a little dusting. Well I hope your day is a good one and that you are productive and maybe find a little time to create. As always, remember to "Breathe"!

One More Heartfelt Creations Card this Week.....
It seems like I have been in a dead run this week and here it is Friday and for some reason I feel like I'm in a panic! Did I forget something? Well the answer to this question is YES! I forgot to show you my other card featured on the Heartfelt Creations blog this week. How do you like the little ribbon I tied around the pots? I think it added a festive look to the card. When I looked around several of the design team members were using this same stamp and mine looked a little washed out so I needed to do something a little different.....hence the ribbon. If you want the specifics for my card and full instructions just pop over to the Heartfelt Creations blog and have a good look around. All the design team members have their creations with total instructions listed there. I have to tell you there are some gorgeous creations for you to see! You can really get inspired if you visit! When you go, leave a comment so they know you were there. We all love to hear from you so don't forget to comment!
Well enjoy your Friday....tomorrow is Saturday and if you work that means it's the weekend and you don't have to get up early and face another day if you don't want to! And be sure and come back tomorrow, I will be showing you another card I have made!

Valentine.......
As we are half way through January and closing in on February, I have begun to think about Valentines Day. I need to make several cards and this is probably only my second one. I love the Grand Madison Window die from Poppystamps. I purchased this one from Joan's Gardens. Joan carries lots of wonderful dies in her shop and she would welcome your dropping by. I love to go browse through and almost always come up with something I just can't live without.
I cut the window out of white card stock and just adhered it to the center of my card. Some pretty paper a few flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts a Spellbinders heart die and of course a sentiment from Heartfelt Creations. Oh I almost forgot about my new butterfly die! I love, love, love it! It is the Vivienne Butterfly from Memory Box. I cut it out of white card stock and added a little glitter to it...actually a lot of glitter...As far as I'm concerned all butterflies must be glittered!
So what do you think? Do you think this might do for a manly Valentine? Something about the dark paper just makes me think male.
OK that's all I have this morning. I'm going for a good hot cup of coffee and then I'm going to visit some of my blogging friends. Have a great day and remember to "Breathe".

Another Heartfelt Creations Wednesday!
Good morning everyone! It's another Heartfelt Creations Wednesday. I'm always so excited to get to share with you another creation. My card this morning combines my two favorite things...Heartfelt Creations stamps and Spellbinders dies! Anytime you put these two together you can't help but come up with something wonderful.
The Heartfelt Creations Stamps used for my card are: HCPC 3449 Door to My Heart PreCut set and HCPC 3446 Doorway Trimmings PreCut Set. I love both of these sets. There are so many ways to use them and it just makes my head spin. For the specifics of my card and the instructions you can visit the Heartfelt Creations blog. While you are there you can see all the other beautiful creations of the design team. Also you can visit the individual blogs by clicking on the names on the side of my blog. Go check them out and leave a comment. We love to have you visit us!
Now I'm going to play for awhile this morning while it is still quiet in the house. Since I'm an early riser, I love to just spend time with a hot cup of coffee and my stamps. Yes.....My name is Glenda and I'm a stamp addict! What's your excuse?

Winner of Blog Candy and New Card Post....
Thanks everyone for making this Candy a success! I wanted to gain some new friends and that is exactly what happened. I'm not going to bore you with pictures of folded names in a bowl with my husband's hand stuck in there... We did all that and the name he pulled out is........Becky Spinks!! Congratulations girl! Email me with your address and I will get these goodies off to you very soon!
My card I'm sharing with you this morning is another one I made using the new Chateau Gate Collection from Heartfelt Creations. Here in the South, we have had very little cold weather this winter, but my heart is tuned into Spring. This card reminds me of window boxes and makes me yearn for warm breezes and green grass. Our grass is still somewhat green, but we have had so much rain everything is squeeshy (is that a word) outside. Lots of brown and mud to go around.
If you want to get all the products used and the instructions for my card just head on over to the Heartfelt Creations blog and look around. My card is listed there with all the particulars.
So what do you have on your agenda today? A hundred years ago when I was a girl Monday was wash day. Everything was stripped and washed and hung on the line to dry....even in January. We had an old Maytag wringer washer that set on the porch and it would chug and chug, but got the clothes clean. Everybody had a clothes line behind their house because there were no dryers yet. I've gone to the line in January or February to take the wash in and it would be frozen to the line. The wind would have blown the clothes dry except for where the clothes pins were. So you just pulled it apart from the line and took it all in. How's that for a walk down memory lane? I still have a clothes line behind our house. Still a country girl through and through. I don't hang anything outside now because it just doesn't dry, but in summer I love the fresh clean smell of sheets that have blown gently in the breeze. Don't try this if you have allergies....it will kill you!
Ok, that is it for me today. I hope you don't mind my wandering around in my memories a little. It actually brought a smile to my face today. So whatever you have going on or wherever you may wind up today, try and take just a moment and "Breathe"!

What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #136
Good morning ladies! If you are wondering what in the world I'm doing here showing you my little mess on my desk.....well it's Miss Julia's fault! I blame it on her, but the truth is I'm totally addicted! You can visit her and get all the details by clicking on her name above. Each Wednesday, we take a picture of our work space and post it to her blog and then you can go visit everyone's blog and see what they are doing! You get a little look around, but no peeking in closets please! It's so much fun to see all the different projects that everyone has going on.
I've been working on a card using the emboss resist technique and I will be posting it in a day or two. You can see some of the colors I've used as well as the LaBlanche stamp that I used to emboss. Also there are a couple of the elements I will be using. My desk isn't too messy but I still have time to get it that way before I actually finish this card. I actually did a bit of dusting a couple of days ago so I haven't had time to really make a mess yet! Well I've shown you mine, now show us yours!
I'm off to visit some of the other desks. I never seem to actually make it round all the way but I love to try!
Have a great day and come back a little later on I will have a post for Heartfelt Creations.

Valentine Tilda....
Good morning everyone. Have you had your morning cup of coffee? I'm working on my second cup and am feeling a little sleep deprived at the moment. We are animal lovers at our house and we have aging dogs. I awoke at 1:30 AM to the sound of our 13 year old Pug coughing. Pugs are a kind hearted lot and our Niki is a sweetheart, but anyone who has been around a Pug knows they look like they ran into the back of a bus. With a smushed face, it can get hard to breathe sometimes and this morning Niki was struggling. My husband got up with her, but the activity got everyone up and so now it is 4:30 AM and I'm the only one still up! Wouldn't you know. Everyone else is sleeping peacefully and I am awake and "READY TO GO"! I feel a nap coming on later!
This morning I want to share a little card I made and I'm going to enter it in the challenge over at Joan's Gardens. The requirements this week are:
Make a card and/or tag using some kind of hearts
Use any kind of embellishments
Use, pink or red with white
Do some kind of embossing
My little Magnolia stamp is water colored with Ranger Distress Inks and set up using pink and white. I used the Mary Ann embossing folder by Cuttlebug. My sentiment was stamped and cut out with a Spellbinders die and then I used pink chalk on the paper while still in the die. I colored a half pearl with a Copic Marker to match the pink card stock. Clean and simple and pretty straight forward. I really wanted the cute image to be the important part of the card.
So I have covered all the bases for Joan's challenge and I'm good to go. Why don't you head on over to Joan's place and have a look around. She has an online shop and you just might find something you can't live without! Joan is a class act and ships quickly and your order arrives in pristine condition.
Well that is it for me this morning. I'm going for another cup of coffee. I'm beginning to wind down a little, now that it is about time to get up. It's going to be a difficult day! I will most definitely need to find time to "Breathe" today!

A Tag in Purple...
Good morning everyone, it's Monday and raining here....whats that old song...Rainy Days and Monday's Always Get Me Down. It is still a little early, but I am up and on my first cup of coffee and I realized I didn't do the prep for my post this morning, so I took the picture and got started.
I don't use purple much, but I do love it. I found some purple design paper, I have no idea of the manufacturer and I covered my tag with it. I used Dusty Concord Ranger distress Ink to go around the edges of the tag and give it some dimension. Next I cut the white border using HCD 713 Lace Border Die from Heartfelt Creations. I glued this to the bottom of the tag and made a flower using HCPC 3438 Carnation Florals 2 PreCut Set (also from Heartfelt Creations) Some pretty Spellbinders leaves to showcase the flower were cut using the Foliage dies. Next I took a doily and added some color and folded so it would stand up a little and then cut a butterfly using Spellbinders Wonderful Wings dies. I added some stickles and pearls to the butterfly and glued it to the doily.
I will be adding some pretty fibers or ribbon to the top before I tuck this little baby into a gift bag for a friend.
So what do you have planned today? I've been doing some cleaning in my craft room so I guess I'll continue with that. It seems like I'm always trying to find more better ways to store things. Sometimes when I'm working, I look around and I have stuff everywhere. How does that happen? Who did that? I'm not always sure who made this mess, but I know who has to clean it up! So that is what I have planned for my day. Have a great day and try to find a little time to play and as always, remember to "Breathe"!

Birthday Card
Good morning ladies! We have come to the end of another week. It has been a wild ride here with temps varying from the teens to near 60 degrees. It's January people.....go figure. I love the beautiful weather, but can't help but wonder what the heck is going on out there!
This morning I would like to share a card I did for Heartfelt Creations. It is a simple, easy design with just a little die cutting involved. You can get all the details here: Heartfelt Creations blog While you are there have a little look see and you will be inspired!
Well that is about all I have this morning. I'm still trying to get things straight after the holidays, so I will be doing some cleaning and storing today. So have a wonderful day and try and enjoy your weekend and as always, remember to "Breathe"!

Welcome to Heartfelt Creations Wednesday...
Good morning everyone! Welcome to Heartfelt Creations Wednesday! As a design team member we are asked to submit an altered item each month to show the versatility of the stamps. This month my project is a tussy mussy. Originally these were very small bunches of flowers that ladies carried to overcome some of the odours they came in contact with. Later the bunch of flowers was placed in a silver vase like cone; but still small. My take on this is a little larger just for display purposes.
Heartfelt Products Used: HCPC 3407 Botanical Floral 2 PreCut Set and HCPC 3405 Leaf Medley PreCut Set
Other Supplies: Designer paper, lace, Scor-Tape, hot glue gun, Ranger Distress Ink, shimmer spray, string of pearls, shear fabric, rubber band
I made a paper cone out of the designer paper. I used my hot glue gun to adhere lace to the top edge of the cone and to wind it around the cone down to the base. Stamp, cut out and shape flowers. I used distress inks to add some color to my petals. Stamp, cut out and shape the leaves. Next I sprayed the leaves with shimmer spray. Once dry, I hot glued this and the flowers to the lace to make a gathering of flowers. Glue the string of pearls around the lace at the top of the cone and make a hanger by gluing these pearls to the inside of the cone. I gathered the fabric with my fingers and then used a rubber band to hold together. I placed this down in the top of the cone.
Now you can go the the Heartfelt Creations blog by clicking on this link. You can see my creations for this week as well as the rest of the design teams lovely creations. You will also find all products used and the instructions for each project. You will find a wealth of ideas to keep your little fingers occupied for a couple of days! You can also visit the design team members individual blogs by clicking on their names on the right hand side of by blog. Look around, leave a little comment; we all love hearing from you!
Well that about does it for me this morning. Have a wonderful day and you know the drill....."Breathe"!

Birds at my feeders......
I think the little gray one with the peak on his head is some sort of titmouse...I didn't find him in my bird book. I think the yellow tinted one on the front of the feeder is some sort of wren. Do any of you know for sure?
This is a different angle...he almost looks like a tiny jay of some sort. I just started seeing these guys this year.
This one is a chickadee. Isn't it cute?
This little guy is a little woodpecker. If I remember correctly my book called him a fluffy woodpecker. That little red band around the back of his head is so bright. He comes morning and evening to get the suet block. I love watching him.
These feeders are right outside my craft room window. I spend a lot of time just watching...I used to have doves too but when we moved the feeder they seem to have moved on. I love to hear their calls and hope they come back soon. Mostly I've had these birds and lots of little wrens. It can get quite busy at these feeders, especially when it turns to bad weather.
I hope you have enjoyed my pictures this morning. Sorry I'm not more sure about the names for these little guys. I just know they bring me great joy each and every day. I hope you find something that brings you joy in your day. My new goal for 2012 is to look for the joy in each day. That is about the only resolution I made. Oh and of course....to remember to "Breathe"!
