Heartfelt Creations Christmas Gate....

Good morning my friends and welcome to another Inspiration Wednesday with Heartfelt Creations.  I'm here to share a card with you called Christmas Gate!  It is a shaped card and I love how it turned out! You can see my card and all the instructions plus all the supplies used in the Heartfelt Creations Gallery.

I used Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper to make my card base along with the Royal Gateway die.  Cut a piece of Sheet 10B of the paper collection to cover the front of the shaped card.  Using the inner piece of the Royal Gateway die cut one piece using Luxe Gold cardstock and one piece using white cardstock.  Stagger the two pieces so the gold shows through behind the white piece and glue together.  Adhere to the card front.

Using Luxe Gold cardstock, cut the inner piece of the Seasonal Wreath die and glue to the front of the gate.  Using Rich Cocoa ink, stamp the pieces of the Winter Wreath stamps onto a piece of the Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper and use the coordinating dies to die cut the pieces. I stamped the holy leaves with Fern Green ink and colored with Leaf Green ink.  I accented the holy with Olive ink.  Use the coordinating dies to cut out the pieces.  I colored the berries and fruit with Rhubarb Stalk and the pine cones were colored with Toffee Crunch and Rich Cocoa. All the ink was applied using the Stack and Store Daubers. I used the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit to shape the different elements and then I used hot glue to adhere to the top of the gold wreath.

Cut a length of white seam binding and color using Rhubarb Stalk ink.  This is done by balling the seam binding and spraying with water to saturate.  Then smush ink onto a work surface and swirl the wet seam binding through the ink and then leave to dry.  Tie a double bow and use Scor-Tape and hot glue to adhere to the top of the wreath.

Happy Holidays!

Elegantly Autumn...

Good morning my friends.   I'm here this morning to share another Hearthfelt Creations card with you!  This card features the Seasonal Wreath Collection and you can find it here in the Heartfelt Creations Gallery.

I used the Deluxe Flower Shaping paper for the card base as it is the perfect weight for this.  I used one of the card fronts on Sheet 2A of the paper collection and glued it down to the card front.  I used Luxe Gold Cardstock to die cut the Elegant Heart Centerpiece die and then used a piece of Sheet 9B of the paper collection to die cut the center piece for the centerpiece.  Glue this behind the Elegant Heart centerpiece and then I used dimensional tape to adhere to the card front.

Die cut two of the wreaths using kraft cardstock and glue them togethder to make a thick and stable piece to mount everything else onto.  Set this aside while we work on all the elements for this card.

Stamp all the elements using Rich Cocoa ink onto a piece of white cardstock.  I used various inks to color using the daubers and the Dove Blender pen. Most of the leaves were colored with Leaf Green and accented using Fern Green or Olive. Some of the leaves were colored with Dandelion and Leaf Green with accents of Cantaloupe and Rhubarb Stalk.  The little Owls are colored with the Dove Blender Pen and Toffee Crunch, Dessert Sand and London Fog inks. I used Tangelo to color the pumpkins, Lulu Lavender and Sweet Plum for the grapes and Dessert Sand and Toffee Crunch to color the acorns.  The apples are colored with Cantaloupe, Leaf Green and accented with Rhubarb Stalk.  The sunflower and wheat fronds are colored with Dandelion.  I used Express-O Yourself Prills. You can color all these elements to your own taste with whatever inks or markers that you have. Just make them yours! Use the Flower Shaping Kit to shape the elements so they have dimension and don't lay flat

Once you have all your elements prepared to your liking decide on placement on the wreath and glue down.  I loaded mine up!  I used dimensional tape to adhere to the Elegant Heart Centerpiece and your card is ready to go!

Introducing the Seasonal Wreath Collection with Heartfelt Creations...

Good morning friends and welcome!  Another month has rolled around and it is time to introduce another collection from Heartfelt Creations.  This collection has a wreath for each season with lots of elements perfect for each wreath you create.  This will be a collection you reach for time and again!

I created a refrigerator magnet and you can see it in the Heartfelt Creations Gallery here

Using the Seasonal Wreath Die, tape down the shadow die and the small inside center die and cut out two blue cardstock pieces.  Glue those together. Decide on placement for the magnet and glue it down.  Then using the shadow die cut out a piece of Sheet 11B of the paper collection and glue that behind the blue wreath.  This covers the magnet and also adds a pretty center to the wreath.

Stamp the Seasonal Wreath Accent pieces onto a piece of white cardstock.  Color the leaves with Fern Green ink and most of the flowers were stamped with Rich Cocoa.  Using the Stack and Store Daubers color the elements.  I used Leaf Green and Olive to color the greenery.  I used Rosebud to color the butterfly, the hearts and the birdie belly and some of the flowers. This is where I used the Dove Blender Kit. I used Dandelion ink to color the flower head and the bumble bee and some of the filler pieces. I put Lettuce Entertain You Prills into the yellow flower head.  The sunflowers are stamped in Dandelion and colored with Sunflower, Canteloupe, Dandelion and Rhubarb Stalk inks. Cut everything out using the coordinating dies.  Lay the sunflower leaves onto the shaping mold, spritz with water and run through the die cut machine.  Turn out onto desk to dry.  When dry glue two petals together and add the flower center material.  Allow to dry and when dry add glitter. The little birds and the nest are colored using Rich Cocoa, Desert Sand for the nest and Danube Blue, Rosebud and Desert Sand for the little birds.  Glue the birds onto the nest and glue into place.  I used dimensional tape to adhere the hearts and the bumble bee into place.  Decide on placement of everything else and glue down.  The project is finished.

Heartfelt Creations...Just For You Sunflower Slimline...

Good morning and welcome my friends.  These new slimline cards are a favorite of mine and I find I want to make this type of card for all occasions! I also adore sunflowers so this new collection just speaks to me and I have used this flower on my card again today!

My card size is 4" X 8 1/2".  Make card base and then cut a piece of blue cardstock 1/8" smaller and glue to card front.  Cut a piece of Sheet 4B smaller than the blue piece of cardstock and glue it down. I added dimensional tape to this piece of the paper collection.

Cut two Royal Elegance frames, 1 using white cardstock and one using gold cardstock. I also used the Eyelet Oval and Basics Snmall dies to cut out the center of these two.   Layer the white die cut over the gold one and glue so that it is showing a bit behind the white piece.  Diecut a piece of Sheet 4B using an oval and glue it behind the gold and white diecut piece.  Stamp the sentiment onto this using black ink.  Use dimensional tape to adhere to card front.

Stamp the flower petals using Memento Dandelion ink and stamp the leaves using Fern Green ink.  Color the leaves using Leaf green ink and cut out using the coordinating dies.  Edge the leaves with Olive ink to add some shading.  Color the flowers using Cantaloupe, Sunflower and Rhubarb Stalk ink and cut out using coordinating dies.  Lay leaves and flower petals onto the shaping mold and spritz with water.  Run through the die cut machine and then turn them out onto your desk to dry.

Once dry use a Hydra Sponge and Dries Clear Adhesive to add glitter to the flower petals.  Glue two petals together to form the flower.  Add the homemade center and allow everything to dry.

Once everything is dry, decide on placement and hot glue down.  The card is finished.

You can find my card and more details in the Heartfelt Creations Gallery:  You  might also like to visit the Heartfelt Creations Blog to see what the other designers have submitted.  I know you will be inspired with all the lovely creations there!

I made a slimline card this month and it measures 3 3/4" X 8 3/4".  Make the card base and cover with a piece of orange cardstock.  I used a piece of paper from the Heartfelt Creations Countryside Cottage collection to cover.  I also used stamps and dies from Heartfelt Creations.  I will list them in the supplies list below.   I stamped the elements using Memento Rich Cocoa and colored everything with Zig Clean Color markers and a water brush.  The centers of the sunflowers have a home filler made with various colors of Prills and glitters.  It makes a dark chunky product and is perfect for this.
