Other Products:
Dandelion Memento Ink, White Cardstock , Glossy Accents, Hot Glue Gun, Cardboard from Shipping Box, Paper Trimmer, Die Cutting Machine, Water Spritzer Bottle

Instructions:
My card is 6 X 6.  Make card base and cover the front and inside with coordinating pieces of the card stock.  Using one of the dies of the Pocket Accent Dies, cut the shape into the card front after you decide how far back you want it to be from the edge of the card.  Next using the die for the decorative piece of these dies cut a piece using white card stock.  Glue this to the edge of the card front matching the edges.

Using Rich Cocoa Memento ink, stamp the flower petals and then using coordinating dies cut them out.  Color the petals using Morocco ink in the center then I blended using Bamboo Leaves ink.  I did another layer of color using Dandelion and Cantaloupe inks and lastly, I did a layer of Archival Sunflower Ink on the tips of the petals.  Spritz the backs of the petals and use the Flower Shaping Kit to shape.  I pinched the ends of the petals and bent them to the right to give them a bit of interest.  Layer two petals together and add my homemade sunflower center.  It is made up of the prills and Redlands Elements.  It is dark brown with a hint of red and I love the look. Set the petals aside to dry.  Once dry I used a brush and painted the petals with Glossy Accents.  Set the flowers aside to dry.

Using Archival Fern Green stamp the leaves and color with Bamboo Leaves.  Use coordinating dies to cut them out.  I didn’t shape the leaves but I did add Glossy Accents using a brush.  Set them aside to dry.

Stamp the sentiment on white card stock and cut it out with a paper trimmer, I edged the white cardstock with Bamboo Leaves ink and then glued to a mat of coordinating paper from the collection.  I cut a piece of a shipping box and glued it to the back of the sentiment piece and then glued it to the card.

I decided on the placement of my flowers and leaves and hot glued them down onto the card.  The card is finished and ready to go.

Continuing on With The Tender Moments Collection.....

In an effort to get caught up with our posts, here is my next Heartfelt Creations  Tender Moments project!  If you have a new arrival or one coming soon, this is definitely a collection for you!

London Fog Memento Ink, Distress Crackle Paint, Squeezed Lemonade and Spun Sugar Distress Ink, Hot Blue Gun, White Cardstock, Canson  Watercolor Paper, Teal Cardstock, Zig Clean Color Markers #041 Light Green and #081 Light Violet

Watch this video to learn how to create shaped baby cards the EZ way. https://youtu.be/FZhOcxh4kgY

Instructions:
My card is 5 X 7.  Make card base and cover with a piece of the paper from the collection.  Stamp the little sheep and the rabbit onto watercolor paper using London Fog Memento Ink.  Use the water brush and Distress ink to color the little images.  Once colored set aside to dry and then using the coordinating die cut out the images.  Add some 85 glitter to the images and set aside to dry.

Cut out circle frames using the circle dies and also cut a piece of the paper collection to fit the back of the frames.  Glue the images into the circles and allow to dry.  Cut out two of the dies from the Butterfly Kisses dies and glue the circle frames to these.  Using the Double Dots, adhere to the top of the card.

Cut two pieces of the Sweetheart Borders Dies and a 3/4” piece of the paper collection and glue these together making a lovely lacy border for the bottom of the card.  Stamp sentiment onto a piece of the paper collection and then cut out using the ovals dies.  Next cut a frame out of cardstock using the oval dies.  Glue the sentiment piece behind the oval frame and using Double Dots, adhere over the lace piece.

Stamp the flowers using Elderberry Memento Ink, color the flowers using Lilac Posies Memento Ink.  Cut out the flowers using coordinating dies.  Lay flower petals onto the mold, spritz with water and cover with the top piece of the mold and run this through the die cutting machine.  Lay them out to dry.  I use the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit to push down on the center of the flowers giving the extra added dimension.  Apply Prills to the center of the flowers and allow to dry.  I use the Distress Crackle Paint to the edges of the flowers and add the Crystal Clear glitter.  Again, allow the flowers to dry.  I used hot glue to adhere to the front of the card.

Instructions:
My card is 5 X 7.  I went on youtube and found instructions for a large side step card and cut it out and scored.  There are many videos available, just pick one you like and follow along.  Once I had the base constructed I measured and cut pieces of the pretty paper collection and covered the card.

Stamp the Air Balloon onto watercolor paper using Magenta Hue Ink.  I colored the image using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and the water brush.  Allow the image to dry and then I used the coordinating die to cut it out.  Now you can add the glitter and set aside to dry.  I picked a piece of the paper collection and stamped the Baby Girl stamp with Magenta Hue Ink and then cut it out using the coordinating die to fit into the base of the balloon.  I used a piece of a shipping box and glued to the back of the sign to give it dimension and then I glued it down into place.  I stamped the little bear with Toffee Crunch Memento Ink and used the Zig Clean Color Brush Markers and the water brush to color then I set him aside to dry.  Once dry, use the coordinating die and cut out.  Now add glitter and allow that to dry.  Glue him into the base of the Air Balloon.

I stamped the elephant with London Fog Memento Ink, I stamped the Raccoon using Memento Rich Cocoa Ink and the little pig was stamped using Magenta Hue Archival Ink.  I used Zig Clean Color Brush Markers and the Water Brush to color the little animals and then I allowed them to dry.  Using the coordinating dies I cut them out and then I added glitter and then allowed that to dry.  Once dry I glued them down to the steps.  Tie a bow with the white ribbon and using scor-tape and glue adhere it to the card.  Using Lilac Posies Memento Ink, I stamped the sentiment onto the first step of the card.  The card is finished!

On My Desk This Morning....

Let me just say I have been up since 3 AM...it seems to have become my new norm so I guess I just need to start my day early now.  I think this is what happens when you get old...you either sleep until 9AM or you wake at 3AM.  Either way, I'm not a fan.  My latest time to wake has been 6 and I felt like I had missed half of the day so this may all be my fault in some strange way.  Anyway, I took the time to finish a card I have been working with.  I used Heartfelt Creations products (what else is new) and this is what is on my desk this morning....

My card is featuring the Heartfelt Creations Wild Rose flower stamps, dies and mold!  The background diecut is the Stairway Gardens from Heartfelt Creations as well!  Do you know why I purchased this 6 X 6 square die?  It was for the pretty scallop around the edges but oh my goodness was I asleep at the wheel!  I have found a beautiful diecut that I adore behind flowers on a card front!  It just goes to show you, you never know until you get it into your hands.

That's it for me this morning...I'm off for my second cup of coffee and to think about really starting my day!  The little birds outside my window have been singing since 5:30 AM!  I love to hear them.  Have a lovely weekend!

They are offering a 15% savings available until 6-17-2020 online only. This is a great opportunity for you to add to your stash!  Just click the link below for all the details!  Happy Shopping!

I made a quick card to share with you this morning using theThe Cherry Blossom Retreat Collection.

For more tips on creating with the Cherry Blossom Retreat collection, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/OaA2da5H-E0.

Create the shaped card by laying the die to hang over the folded cardstock which creates a hinge for the card base.  Next cut the shape again using white cardstock and then cut one out of a coordinating paper.  Glue all together to form the card base.  Next cut the cage design out of white cardstock and glue to the card base.  The card is pretty here but we are going to use these Heartfelt products to dress it up a bit.

Stamp the flower petals with Archival Magenta Hue ink.  I used Memento Cantaloupe ink and the Dove Blender pen to add color to the  center of the petals then I used a Stack & Store Dauber to add Magenta Hue to the edges of the petals.  I stamped the leaves in Archival Fern Green then colored them with Memento Bamboo Leaves.  Now stamp the little birds and the branch they are sitting on in Jet Black Archival Ink.  Color using Archival Sky Blue and Magenta Hue for the little birds and Memento Toffee Crunch.  Die cut all the pieces and place onto the mold.  Spritz with water and close the mold and run through the die cut  machine.  Set aside to dry.  Add the Prills to the center of the flowers and allow to dry.  When the flowers and birds are dry use the Designer Dries Clear Glue and Rajni Chawla's Crystal Clear to dust the pieces.  Allow to dry and then watch the magic happen!

Cut out the sentiment and glue one of the little birds to it and glue to the card front.  Decide where you want all the elements and use hot glue to glue everything down.

On My Desk This Morning......

Good morning friends!  I'm here to share with you what's on my desk this morning.  I wanted to use some Heartfelt Creations Oakberry Lane flowers.  These flowers can be shaped and colored in many different ways.  I'm showing a 4 1/2 X 7 card with a pretty piece of paper from the Classic Petunia Collection.  I distressed the edges of the paper and then did a quick bit of color using Archival Cactus Flower.  Next I did a die cut layer using HCD1-7248 Regal frame and Accents Die.  I did a coordinating  piece of paper from the collection just to add a pop of color inside the die pieces.

The leaves were stamped in Archival Ink Fern Green and colored with Archival Ink Leaf Green.  Then of course lots and lots of glitter on leaves as well as the flowers.

Well that is it for me this morning.  The weekend is coming so have a good one!

Other Products:Paper Trimmer, Hot Glue Gun, Die Cutting Machine, Magnets, Water Mister Bottle, Dimensional Packing Material, White Cardstock

Instructions:My card is 6 X 6.  Stamp flower petals using Archival Buttercup and Magenta Hue ink.  I used Magenta Hue to color the pink flowers and Brilliance Sunflower Yellow for the yellow flowers.  I also used a hint of Brilliance Pearlescent Coral on the tips of the pink flowers to achieve the look I wanted.  Cut out the petals using the coordinating dies.  Spray the petals with water and use the Flower Shaping Tools to break down the fibers of the paper and shape.  Set aside to dry.  Once dry hot glue layers of petals to form the flowers.  Add Prills to the center of the flowers and set aside to dry.  Once dry add Crystal Clear glitter to the flowers and allow this to dry.

Stamp the leaves with Archival Fern Green ink and color using Vivid Chartreuse and Bamboo Leaves. Use the coordinating dies to cut out the leaves.  Spritz the leaves with water and use the flower shaping tools to shape then set aside to dry.  Once dry I added the #85 glitter to them and set aside to dry.

Now it’s time to start working with the shaped  Shutter Fold Card.  Pick a 6 X 6 card front and trim it down 1/4” and glue to the inside of the card.  Find a sentiment on the paper and cut out and apply a piece of dimensional shipping box and then glue to another sign from the paper. (I always save my shipping boxes for using for dimension)  Glue to the inside of the card.

Using the circle die from the Rounded Sunlight Window Dies, cut out a piece of the paper collection.  Using one of the decorative dies from the Rounded Eyelet Window Dies cut out each side of the circle shaped piece of the paper collection.  Now use the paper trimmer and cut in half so that it fits each side of the card front.  Next use one of the dies to cut a piece of plain paper to fit behind the decorative piece and adhere behind.  Edge each piece with Magenta Hue ink to add a bit of color to the pieces.  Apply a magnet to the side of the card front then glue the decorative piece of paper to the side of the card front.

Using the smaller circle die of the Rounded Window Frame Die, cut a piece of white cardstock.  Now cut a circle of the decorative paper using the small circle die.  Adhere a magnet to the back of the white cardstock piece and then cover it with the circle piece of paper.  Apply glitter to the edges of the white cardstock piece and then glue one side to one side of the card front. Go around the piece with Magenta Hue ink to add color.   Now with the magnets installed it will close and hold the card together.  You can apply the flowers to the decorative circle using hot glue.  The card is finished
