Inspirational Wednesday with Heartfelt Creations....

It is with a heavy heart that I tell you I will not be continuing on the Heartfelt Creations Design Team for the upcoming year and this is my final Wednesday Post for them.  It is time to do other things for awhile and I have many projects that I am anxious to do on my own.  I will transition over onto the Alumni Design Team and I will be back once a month for their blog hop.  I look forward to being a part of this team as there is so much talent there!

Inspiration Wednesday with Heartfelt Creations....

Good morning everyone!  It is once again Wednesday, midway through the week and I'm here to share another Heartfelt Creations project!  Today it's a tag!  I love making tags and Heartfelt Creations makes it very easy by using their Album Tag and Accents die.

Other Products: White Cardstock, Cuttlebug Embossing Folder (Foundry) Dimensional Tape, Grape Jelly Memento Ink, White Seam Binding, Scor-Tape, Vagabond 2
For more tips on creating with the Purr-fect Posies collection, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/88KR6a5RRmg.
For more tips on creating with the Lush Lilac collection, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/KDbdzC0MnAI.
Instructions: Using the tag die, cut out two pieces of white cardstock. Run one through the Vagabond with embossing folder and then glue the two tags together. Cut out the pieces of the Tag Dies that the sentiment will go on. Stamp the sentiment and glue onto the base piece. Use dimensional tape to adhere to card front.
Stamp the leaves with Fern Green Ink and the flower petals with Eldeberry Memento Ink. Color, then cut out using coordinating dies. (I used green in the center of the flowers and purple on the edges) Lay on Shaping molds and spritz with water. Run through the Vagabond 2 and then lay out to dry. Add prills to the center of the flowers and glitter the edges and allow to dry. Once everything is dry, decide on placement and glue down.
I used a combination of Majestic Violet and Grape Jelly inks to color the seam binding. Be sure and spritz the seam binding with water so it will take the color better. Scrunch up the seam binding and allow to dry. Once dry tie a double bow and use Scor-Tape and glue to adhere to the top of the tag.

WOYWW #520....

Congratulations on the #520 post of this wonderful weekly get together hosted by Julia Dunnit at her blog:  stamping-ground.blogspot.com  Now I have not been around for all 520 posts but I've been in and out through the years and Julia has stayed true to her beginnings and has continued along with all the crafters allowing us to use her blog each and every Wednesday!  Thank you Julila:

My desk hasn't changed much from last week...I've been doing some decorating in the mini album I'm making and this is just the area where I put all my bling and inks and dies etc.  My album is coming right along and I'm growing anxious for the day I can share it with you guys.

So this does it for me this morning.  I'm off to visit desks from across the world!

The Wishing Well.....

Good morning friends.  I'm here to share a card I have made using the sweet wishing well stamp from Heartfelt Creations.

The stamp is from the Cherry Blossom Retreat collection.  I just love the watering can and the sweet little birds that come with this set.  My card is inspired by a video done by Tracey Fehr on Facebook. My photo doesn't show that the middle of the card front is cut out and then the wishing well is attached to the top and bottom.  Thank you Tracey for being such an inspiration to me!  Once you get the elements ready the card goes together very quickly and it makes a wonderful presentation!

Well that is it for me this morning.  I hope you have a wonderful day and that you get to do something creative!

What's On Your Workdesk...Week #519...

Good morning fellow crafters and welcome to another Wednesday!  If you are wondering about this post just head over to Stamping Ground and have a look around.  Julia has all the info there and we welcome you to be one of us! You just take a photo of your workspace and post it to your blog and then link to Julia's blog.  Then you can visit all the other like minded crafters all over the world and see what they have going on.

I took this photo yesterday afternoon after I did some clean up in my room.  I'm working with the Lush Lilac Collection from Heartfelt Creations and I had pulled these stamps to have on hand.  Also some new gingham ribbon and a pack of dies that I will use to make small banners for card fronts.  Now I'm ready to work on a project I plan to start soon.  I have to clean in between projects or I suddenly can't find anything.  I have actually lost dies and never found them.  Probably wound up in the trash but I did go through the trash can and never found them.  They are too expensive to be losing them!

Well ladies that does it for me this morning.  I'm off to visit as many of my fellow crafty friends as I can. Have a lovely day and a great rest of the week!

Thinking of You Sunflowers.....

Good morning friends!  It's Monday once again and seems they are rolling around so quickly these days!  I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's day; I sure did!
I'm here this morning to share another card I have made using some of the Heartfelt Creations Sunflowers that were left over from a Folio I did earlier and I thought it would be a good time to use them.  When I make flowers I try to do extra so I can do another project or two along the way.  It can sure be a time saver when you are in a rush.

I got a new embossing folder from Crafters Companion and I love it!  It's one of the 3D folders called Chantilly Lace.  I think it is going to be a favorite one for me!

My card is inspired by a card made by Tracey Fehr on a live Facebook video for Heartfelt Creations.  Thank you Tracey, I think your design is amazing!  I used HCD1-7247 Regal Pocket Accents Die and HCD1-7157 Large Oval die.  I hope you enjoy this card as much as I have enjoyed making it! This one is going into my stash for someone special!

For more tips on creating with the Purr-fect Posies collection, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/88KR6a5RRmg.
Instructions: My card size is 5 x 7". Make card base and cover with a piece of the paper collection. Set aside.
Cut out the hearts and add glitter to them then set aside to dry. Once dry glue to the card front. I used dimensional tape to pop up the top portion of the smaller heart just to add a bit of dimension to the card. Stamp the kitty with London Fog ink and use the blending tool to add definition to the eyelashes and outline of the kitty. I used Angel pink to add color to the cheeks and rosebud to color the bow. Die cut the kitty with the coordinating die. I used dimensional tape to pop him up a bit for a little dimension.
Using the Flower Shaping Paper, stamp the flowers and leaves. I stamped the draping floral piece twice; once in Fern Green and once in Rich Cocoa. I then colored the flowers of the one stamped in Rich Cocoa and then I snipped them off and glued to the one stamped in green. I used a dauber to color in the stem with Leaf Green ink. Glitter the flower buds and leaves and set aside to dry.
I stamped the flower petals with Majestic Violet and then I used a dauber to color with a circular motion from the center outward, leaving the tips lighter. Color the leaves with Leaf Green ink and use the coordinating dies to cut out. Lay the petals and leaves onto the Shaping Mold and spritz with water and run through the Vagabond. Lay aside to dry. Once dry layer the flower petals and glue together; add Prills to the center and Crystal Clear to the petals and leaves. Lay aside to dry. Once everything is dry, glue to the card front. Allow to dry.
Go to the paper collection and find a sign and cut out using the coordinating die. Add Prills to the flower centers and allow to dry. Glue the pearl to the top and glue the sign onto the card front.

WOYWW #518

Good morning my friends and welcome to another get together of like minded crafters sharing a glimpse of their work space.  Each Wednesday we gather and take a photo of our space and link to Julia's Blog.  Julia is the creator of the wonderful bit of madness and I am so grateful she continues to put up with us tramping all over her space on Wednesday!

At first look this looks like nothing and right now that is exactly what it is.  Actually it is the very beginning of a album and I think I have a long way to go! Also there are two tea bags and two honey sticks for one of my next projects as well.  I have really become addicted to adding these items to the inside of my projects as a little gift for the person receiving it.    I've taken a break from crafting to do some long overdue cleaning on my back porch.  Everything was cluttered and I pulled a lot of stuff off and took to the basement; now the basement is cluttered.  What's a girl to do?  It's some of that "I might need that one day" stuff and I just hate to throw out good stuff!  But I've been really trying to turn loose of a lot of stuff lately so I will try and continue along.  The porch does look nicer and I am looking forward to being finished.  But for now this is what you get!

That's all for me this morning.  I'm off to visit some of the other girls and see what they have going on.  I'm a very nosy girl for sure!

Lilac Folio.....

Good Monday morning friends!  I just wanted to stop by and say hello and share with you a folio I have made.  I have inspired by Kathy Clement to make these designs and I think she may have created a monster.  These are all I want to make; they pack a punch and hold so much and can make a gift in itself!  So wherever you are this morning Kathy, thank you for being an inspiration!

I used Lush Lilac paper from Heartfelt Creations and made a large medallion to go on the front using a pretty 3D embossing folder and the sweet birdcage sprinkled with lilac blossoms!  The pretty paper does a lot of the heavy lifting on this folio and the paper itself reminds me of my grandmother.  She had a huge lilac bush in her yard and that was one of the flowers we were allowed to pick each Spring!  Such lovely memories of long ago.

The inside has a waterfall on one side with lots of space for photos if you like and on the other side a pocket filled with tags, a tea bag and a honey stick.  The tea bag had an orange cover on it so I cut a piece of the paper and glued it to the front so it would match the paper.  I love the watering can filled with lilacs and a sweet little dragonfly flitting along beside.

Well this will do it for me this morning.  I will be back each Monday to share more with you and of course on Wednesday for Inspiration Wednesday with Heartfelt Creations and WOYWW!  Hope you have a great week planned and that your weather is good wherever you are!

ANC804 Heart of Gold Prills

Other Products:
White Cardstock, Dimensional Tape, Dandelion Memento Ink

Instructions:
My card size is 4 1/4 X 5 1/2.  Make card base and set aside.  Pick out one of the card fronts on the paper collection that has an oval on it and use the coordinating oval die to cut it out.  Use Teal Zeal to edge the opening for a little added color.  I chose a coordinating color piece of the paper to go behind the card front and used dimensional tape to adhere the two pieces together then I glued the piece to the card front.

Stamp the cupcake twice in Teal Zeal and cut out using the two coordinating dies.  On the icing die cut I added Nuvo Crystal Drops and sprinkled with glitter and set aside to dry.  When dry I colored the cherry with Lilac Posies ink and then I used yellow ink and the Dove Blender Pen to color the bottom of the icing.  Then I colored the cupcake liner with the Dove Blender Pen and Teal Zeal. Use Dimensional Tape and adhere the cupcake inside the oval opening.   Stamp the little extras using Lilac Posies ink and the number with Teal Zeal.  Cut them out using coordinating dies and then glue them around the bottom of the cupcake.

Stamp the flower petals and leaves using Jet Black Archival Ink.  Color the centers of the petals with Cactus Flower and the leaves with Leaf Green Archival Inks.  Use the Deluxe Flower Shaping tools to shape the petals a bit and glue two together. Glue the leaves to the bottom and set aside to dry.   Add the Prills to the center of the flower and once the glue dries you can add it to the card along with a cut out sentiment from the paper collection that has had Teal Zeal ink rubbed along the edges for added color.

What's On Your Workdesk? Week #517

Good morning all!  I'm here again for this little bit of madness brought to you by Julia at Stamping Ground.  If you have an interest in joining this wonderful group of like minded crafters just click on the link and go check it out!  Julia has all the details and you are always welcome!

Not a lot going on here this week. I had the house painted at the end of last week and I've been recovering ever since.  There were two days of pressure washing, caulking and then finally painting.  Then over the weekend my brother-in-law came and painted the shutters and my front door and got them back where they belong and now the house looks so fresh and clean...it makes me happy.  So you can see my attention has been elsewhere and not on my desk.  The belly band says "A Gift for You" but the card wound up in the trash.  Do you ever have those days?

Well this does it for me this morning.  I'm up in the middle of the night ... I think I'm too tired to sleep.  I will have to nap tomorrow for sure.  I'm off to comment on some of the other blogs and maybe I'll wind down a bit!  Have a great rest of the week!
