Heartfelt Creations June Alumni Design Team Blog Hop...

Good  morning friends.  Welcome to my first Alumni Design Team Blog Hop post for several years.  One of the really great things about coming off the current design team is getting to play along with several old friends whom I have stalked for a long time!  My offering for this morning's blog hop is a split front card measuring 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 sporting flowers I made from the Tulip Time stamps and dies.  I just love that you can take one flower and add your own spin on it and make it look totally different from what it is originally meant to be!  I hope Mother Nature doesn't mind!

Tracie Fehr did a video on Heartfelt Creations Facebook page on March 15, 2019 called:
Creating Dimensional Cherry Blossoms and Sweet Songbirds the EZ Way  https://www.facebook.com/HeartfeltCreations/videos/250983655674625/
I won't go into any of the instructions as I just used the basic principles she gives and put my own spin on it.

The hop starts at 8AM EST on Friday, June 28th, 2019 EDT and closes Monday, July 1st at 11:55 PM EDT . Winner will be announced on the HC Facebook page on Wednesday July 3rd, 2019.

If you came here from Sarah Millers  blog you are right on track and your next stop will be  Gloria Stengel

A randomly chosen comment from a mystery blog will receive a $25 gift certificate to shop at Heartfelt Creations. To claim your prize please email Heartfelt Creations at socialmedia@heartfeltcreations.us with "Winner of the June Alumni Hop" in the subject line.

WOYWW#525

Good morning fellow deskers and welcome to my little corner of the world.  It has been a busy week so far but now I'm ready for a bit of a slow down for the rest of the week.  I spent yesterday working in my yard feeding all the plants just doing a bit of clean up after some storms on Monday evening.

On Wednesday a group of like minded crafters across the world get together and photograph their work space and share it with the rest of the world.  If you would like to become one of us just head over to Julia's blog (the creator of this little bit of madness) and have a look around.  She has all instructions posted there and you are most welcome to join us!

I've been working on making flowers for a card that I want to create.  Also I have embossed and glittered a couple pieces of cardstock to use as bases to cards.  Now it's just a matter of adding the two together and gluing it all down onto a card base.  Below is a better view of the flowers and leaves.  The flowers are Oakberry Lane Blossoms by Heartfelt Creations.

That's it for me this morning.  I'm off to visit as many of my fellow crafters as I can!  Have a great rest of the week!

WOYWW #524

Hello my fellow deskers!  It's Wednesday and once again time for us to congregate over at Julia's blog.  If you are curious about this just head on over and have a look around.

So here is the Folio I finished from last week.  I promised to share it with you and I just wanted to keep my promise.  I'm really pleased to have it finished and ready to go and I'm very happy with the way it turned out.  For more on this Folio and the inside just check out the video I did of it below.

I hope you enjoy this little video of my Folio.  It is just a walk through and not a tutorial.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!  I'm off to visit as many of the participating blogs as I can!

WOYWW #523....

Good Wednesday morning my friends and fellow deskers!  It is once again time for us to show off our desks and what we have going on in our world!  If you are curious about this little bit of madness just head over to Stamping Ground and have a look around.  Julia has all the instructions listed there for you if you would like to participate!

I am working on a folio using some old Graphic 45 papers I have in my stash called Botanical Tea.  I think this was released again recently for a printing so customers could have it again for a short time.  I had this terrible habit of hoarding my paper and not using it so now I'm pulling it out and cutting into it and I have to admit it is hard for me.  I'm a "true hoarder" when it comes to my paper!  When I finish this I will share it with you!

Of course this isn't my desk but I have been working with these petunias to get them to take hold and start to grow.  They never wilted when I transplanted but just didn't take off and grow until now.  I have fed them twice and they are beginning to come up over the lip of the planter so they can be seen.  Miracle Gro is a good thing!

Well that's it for me this morning...I'm off to visit as many fellow deskers as I can.  Have a great rest of the week!

All Aflutter....

Good morning friends!  Hope you are doing well and are ready to face this brand new week.  I'm here this morning to share another card I have made using some older supplies out of my craft room.  I'm on a mission to use some of the older papers I have accumulated. I have looked around and they are everywhere!

The papers are from a Graphic 45 collection called Secret Garden.  I have cut into this paper pad before and find that I still love it just as much as I did back then!  I used the Regal Frame and Accents Die from Heartfelt Creations, and the little flowers are from the Floral Fashionista collection, also from Heartfelt Creations.  Do you notice the detail on the petals?  That is from the shaping mold...(HCFB1-471 3D Petite Florals Shaping Mold). I have found since I'm getting older and arthritis is ever present these shaping molds are a life saver.  You can make many flowers with one of these and it doesn't kill your joints to shape them!  (It's a very good thing!)

WOYWW #522 - Album in a Box with Lush Lilacs

Good morning everyone!  It's Wednesday and time to share what's on my workdesk!  If you would like to know about WOYWW just head over to Julia's blog (The owner and creator of WOYWW)
She has all the information there if you would like to come join us.

I have been working on this Album for about a week or so and just wanted to share with you.  I just went ahead and shot a video of it so please don't be too critical because it is done with my holding the phone in one hand and trying to flip pages with the other.

I hope you enjoyed my little video of what has been on my workdesk!  It is my first effort to make one of these Albums and I really like how it turned out!

Now I'm off to visit as of the other deskers as I can!  Have a great day!

Once Upon a Springtime Folio.....

Good Monday morning everyone!  Hope you are ready for the new week to begin.  I'm here this morning to share a Folio I have made using the G45 Once Upon a Springtime paper collection.  This is part of an 8 X 8 paper pad from the original collection that was retired.

I kept this sort of plain as I just really wanted the gorgeous papers to tell their own story here.

The top page of the inside of the folio has a side pocket with a little notebook made and inserted.  You could journal inside if you wanted.

This bottom page of the Folio has a pocket with a Herbal teabag and a honey stick inserted.  What a sweet gift for someone dear to you.

I have been looking around my craftroom at all the supplies on hand and decided I really need to use these things so dear to me.   It is past time for me to cut into these papers so look forward to more of these older papers coming soom!
