Debuting the Black Friday Classic Frame Dies from Heartfelt Creations...

Good morning Friends!  We have arrived at Black Friday and as promised Heartfelt Creations is Debuting The Classic Frame Dies set and you are going to love this one!  I have two cards to share this morning so this is a long post but I wanted to show you both!

Upgrade your paper crafting skills with the new 5”x7” Classic Frame Dies and create classic shaped cards filled with beauty and elegance regardless of your skill level! No matter the project or the occasion, these dies will perfectly complement any paper crafting project, from simple cards to detailed 3D projects!

You can see my card in the Heartfelt Creations Gallery for more details.

The finished card is a shaped card measuring 4 1/2" X 7". Using white cardstock make a shaped base card using the dies from the Fancy Classic Oval Frames set.  Cut another piece of white cardstock to cover the shaped base.  Cut a piece of Sheet 6B of the paper collection and cover the card front.  I used white cardstock and a smaller die from the set to make the medallion.  Also cut a piece of Sheet 11B then clue the two die cuts with the turquoise showing a bit under the white piece.  Glue down to the card front.  I used the next smallest oval die and cut out another piece of Sheet 11B and glue it to the medallion piece.

Stamp the sentiment onto a piece of 4A using Jet Black ink.  Use the tag die from Cut Mat Create set and cut out the sentiment.  Also cut a piece of white cardstock and glue the sentiment piece to this.  It just gives the sentiment a bit of stability. Use Double Dots to adhere to the card front.

Stamp the flower petals using Magenta Hue ink and cut out using the coordinating dies.  Stamp the leaves using Fern Green ink and cut these out using coordinating dies.  I used the stack and store daubers to color the leaves with Leaf Green ink and then edge with Olive ink.  Color the flower petals with Magenta Hue ink.  Lay the flower petals and the leaves onto the shaping mold and sprintz with water then run through the die cut machine.  Turn everything out onto the desk to dry.  Once dry use a hydra sponge and Dries Clear Adhesive to add glitter to the flowers and leaves. This is the time to add Prills to the center of the flowers by adding a puddle of Dries Clear Glue and dumping on the prills.

Once everything dries, decide on placement and use hot glue to glue to card front.  The card is finished.

Here is my second card with Wild Asters... You can find this card here in the Heartfelt Creations Gallery.  I love how this card turned out using the gold accents!

My finished size of my card is 5" X 7".  Make card base and cover with a piece of Sheet 12B of the paper collection. Set aside while we work on the medallion.

Using the Simply Classic Oval Frame die, cut a gold piece using Luxe Gold Cardstock and a white piece using white cardstock. Glue the gold die cut behind the white die cut so the gold piece shows just a little bit.  This makes a beautiful accent.  Adhere this piece to the card front using dimensional tape.  Cut an oval using a piece of Sheet 11B of the paper collection and glue to the base of the medallion.  Next using white cardstock cut a small decorative piece and glue it to the medallion piece.  Cut a piece of white cardstock 2 1/4" X 1 1/4" and round the corners with the Crop-a-Dile.  Edge the piece with Magenta Hue ink.  Cut a piece of Sheet 10-A of the paper collection  1" X 2" and round the corners of this as well.  Edge the piece with Fern Green ink, glue it to the white piece of cardstock and then stamp the sentiment using Jet Black ink.  I adhered this piece to the card front using dimensional tape.

Using a piece of the Luxe Gold Cardstock cut out the little corner pieces and glue in each of the four corners.

Stamp the flower petals in Magenta Hue ink and the leaves in Fern Green ink onto a piece of Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper.  I used Leaf Green ink to color the leaves and edged them with Olive ink.  Cut out using the coordinating dies.  Cut out the flowers with coordinating dies and I colored the edges with Magenta Hue Ink.  I used the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit to shape the flowers and leaves.  I layered three flower petals and glued with hot glue.  I used Designer Dries Clear Adhesive and added Hot Mama Prills to the centers of the flowers and set aside to dry.  Once the glue is dry, use a Hydra Sponge and add Dries Clear Adhesive to the petal edges and sprinkle glitter over them and allow to dry.  Once everything is dry, decide on placement and glue down.  The card is finished.

Inspiration Wednesday with Heartfelt Creations...Ornate Clematis Card...

Good morning everyone and welcome!  I'm here this morning to share a card using the Heartfelt Creations Floral Banner collection. You can see this card at Heartfelt Creations.

My finished card size is 5" X 7".  Make card base and cover with a piece of Sheet 4A that has been edged with LuLu Lavender ink.  Cut a piece of white cardstock 4" X 6" and place it onto the embossing folder and run through the die cut machine.  I used dimensional tape to adhere to the card front.

Using the pink cardstock die cut the center portion of the Ornate Flourish Gateway Die and glue to the center of the embossed piece of cardstock.

Stamp the Vining Clematis Banner onto white cardstock using Leaf Green ink.  Using the Dove Blender pen and Rosebud and Bamboo Leaves ink color the banner.  Set aside while we work on the flowers.  Stamp the flower petals with Rosebud ink and use the Stack and Store Daubers to color.  I also colored the petals with Rosebud ink.  Die cut the petals with coordinating die.  Lay the petals onto the 3D mold and spritz with water and run through the die cut machine.  Turn out onto desk to dry.  Once dry I cut the petals apart and glue down on the banner.  Using hot glue and Lemon Chiffon Prills make the center of the flowers.  Stamp the sentiment onto pink cardstock with Jet Black ink and use the die from the Banner die pieces to cut out the sentiment. Bend the sentiment piece and use Scor-Tape to adhere to the center of the Banner.  Use dimensional tape to adhere to the card front placing it over die cut piece from the Ornate Flourish Gateway Die.

Use Dries Clear Ashesive to add glitter to the flower petals.  Once dry, the card is finished.

Introducing the Brand New Heartfelt Creations Floral Banners Collection...

Good morning friends!  Another month has rolled around and it is time to introduce another new collection from Heartfelt Creations!   If you are like me, you can get confused about where to place accent florals or where to put the sentiment when you are making a card.  This collection takes the guess work out of the process and allows you to make a one of a kind card for someone you love.

My finished card size is 4 1/4" X 5 1/2".  Make card base using white cardstock and cover with one of the card fronts on Sheet 2A.  Measure the inside rectangle of the card front and cut a piece of Sheet 10B to fit that size and use dimensional tape to adhere to card front.

Stamp the Sunflower Banner using Tuxedo Black Memento ink and use the coordinating die to cut out.

Stamp Sunflower petals using Cantaloupe ink and color using Dandelion, Sunflower and Rhubarb Stalk ink.  Use coordinating die to cut out the petals.  Stamp the leaves in Fern Green ink and color using Leaf Green and Olive ink and use coordinating dies to cut them out.  Lay the petals and leaves onto the mold and spritz with water and run through the die cut machine.  Turn them out onto desk to dry.  When they are dry cut the flower petals into two pieces and using hot glue, glue them together to form the partial flowers for the front of the banner.  I used hot glue and some home made center material to make the flower centers.  Using hot glue adhere the flowers and leaves to the banner and set aside.  Cut out the sentiment piece and stamp the sentiment onto it.  I used Scor-Tape to adhere to the front of the banner.  I colored the little butterfly with Rhubarb Stalk and Leaf Green inks and then glue to the front of the banner.

Using a piece of Hydra Sponge and glue add glitter to the flower petals, leaves and the cute little butterfly.  Set aside to dry.  The card is finished.

For more information about my card you can visit the Heartfelt Creations Gallery.

Inspiration Wednesday with Heartfelt Creations...Wild Rose Slimlilne...

Good morning my friends and welcome!  I'm here this morning to share another Heartfelt Creations project with you!

You can see my project here in the Heartfelt Creations Gallery for all the products used.

My finished card size is 3 3/4" X 7 1/2".  Using white cardstock, make card base and cover with a piece of the paper collection.  Cut out the decorative Adorn It Pocket Accents die from white cardstock and glue to the card front.  Cut a piece of coordinating paper 1 1/2" X 7 1/4" and glue down the left side of the card front covering a portion of the decorative die.

Stamp flowers onto Deluxe Flower Shaping paper using New Sprout ink and cut out with the coordinating dies.  Use Stack and Store Daubers to add Magenta Hue ink to the edges of the flowers.  Lay onto the coordinating mold, spritz with water and run through the die cut machine.  Turn out onto the desk to dry.  As they are drying use the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit to add a bit more dimension to the flower petals.  Use hot glue to glue two petals together to make the rose.  Put a clump of hot glue in the center of the flowers and add the Prills there.  Allow to dry.

Stamp the leaves using Fern Green Archival ink and color using Leaf Green.  Cut out with coordinating dies and edge with some of the Magenta Hue and Olive ink.  Lay onto mold, spritz with water and run through the die cut machine.  Turn out onto the desk to dry.

When everything is dry, add adhesive to the end of a wedge of a Hydra Sponge and dab along the edges of the flowers and leaves.  Sprinkle glitter and allow to dry.  Decide on placement of flowers and leaves and use hot glue to adhere to card front.

The Four Seasons Challenge Blog - November - Anything Goes FALL

Good morning friends and welcome to The Four Seasons Challenge Blog for November. As always, Anything Goes and this is the final challenge for FALL!  So gather all your supplies and come join us!  You can post your project here: The Four Seasons Challenge Blog.  The challenge runs from 12:00 AM (EST) on November 1 until 12:00 AM (EST) November 25.  The winner will be announced on November 28.

We have an Inspiration Board for November...This is only for inspiration and you do not have to follow if you have another idea for your project!

We also have a prize for the winner this month supplied by our very generous team member Karen!  It's some very colorful Washi Tape!

My card this month is a Happy Thanksgiving card!  I just love how these pretty orange color flowers turned out,

My card is another slimline card made using mostly Heartfelt Creations products.  The sentiment is from Poppy Stamps and I have had it forever.  The finished dimensions of my card are 3 3/4" X 8 3/4".

Make card base and cover with a piece of design paper.  Next I used die cuts out of gold and white cardstock and glued those to the card front.  The die cuts were two that were cut apart and overlapped to give the illusion of a longer die.   I cut out two different sizes of ovals to hold the sentiment and glued them over the portion of dies that were overlapped.

Now we will work on the flowers...they are super easy.  I used Garden Zinnia stamps and dies from Heartfelt Creations, colored with Archival Tiger Lily ink and cut out with a coordinating die. Leafy Accents Stamps are used to stamp leaves using Fern Green ink, then cut out with coordinating dies. Color using Leaf Green ink.  Use the molds to shape flower petals and leaves and turn out onto the desk to dry. Layer two flower petals and glue together, then add Ribbit Prills to the centers.  I also added some Art Glitterf #85 Crystal to the edges of the petals.  Once everything is dry, decide on placement and hot glue down.
