Inspiration Wednesday with Heartfelt Creations...

Good morning friends and welcome to another Inspiration Wednesday!  Today I'm sharing another card made using the beautiful Iris Garden Collection.  You can find my card in the Heartfelt Creations Gallery along with all the details of making the card!

My finished card size is 5" X 7".  Make card base and cover with a piece of Sheet 6A.  Edge this piece with Majestic Violet to make it stand out against the white cardstock.

Cut two of the Simply Classic Oval Frame die; one in white and one using a piece of Sheet 9B.  Layer the two die cuts so the dark paper shows through behind the white piece.  Adhere to card front using dimensional tape.

Stamp the flower petals onto Deluxe Flower Shaping paper using Majestic Violet ink.  Stamp the leaves with Leaf Green ink.  Cut out with coordinating dies.  Color the leaves with Leaf Green and color the edges of the flower petals with Majestic Violet.  I did just a bit of Buttercup ink in the center of the flower petals. Lay the flower petals and leaves onto the mold, spritz with water and run through die cut machine.  Turn out onto desk to dry.  Once dry add the yellow pollen to the flower petals and allow to dry.  Shape the flowers and glue onto the EZ Stems using hot glue.  Glue the leaves onto the stems to help hide them and make it look like the flowers are growing in the wild.  Tuck this piece behind the die cuts then cut out the sentiment from Sheet 12A and cut another tag out of white cardstock.  Glue the tag to the white cardstock.  This will give the tag a bit more thickness.  I used Double Dots to adhere to the card front over the bottom of the floral piece.  Glue two flat back pearls to the tag and the card is finished.

Inspiration Wednesday with Heartfelt Creations...

Good morning sweet friends and welcome.  I'm continuing to play with the lovely Iris Garden Collection from Heartfelt Creations and I'm loving it! You can find this week's card in the gallery here. All the details are listed there.

My Iris flowers are beginning to bloom in my garden right now so I have been really enjoying this collection.

My finished card size is 5 1/4" X 7 1/4".  Make card base using Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper.  It is a perfect weight for card making!  Next cut a piece of Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper 5" X 7" and glue to card front.  Cut a piece of Sheet 5A to cover this piece and glue it down.

Die Cut the Fancy Classic Oval Frame out of white cardstock and using a hydra sponge and Designer Dries Clear Adhesive add Crystal Clear glitter and allow to dry.  Once it is dry, center on the card front and glue down.

Cut a piece of white seam binding, spritz with water and scrunch then allow to dry.  Once it is dry, tie a bow and set aside to go on the card later.

Stamp the flower petals using Cactus Flower and cut out with coordinating dies.  Edge the blooms with more Cactus Flower, lay onto the mold, spritz with water and run through a die cut machine.  Turn out on the desk to dry.  Add the yellow pollen to the flower petals and allow to dry. Once dry punch a hole in the center of the petals and thread through the stamen and use hot glue to hold together.  Glue to the EZ Stem Floral wire and allow to dry.

Stamp the leaves in Leaf Green and cut out with coordinating dies.  Color with more Leaf Green ink and edge with Olive ink.  Lay onto the mold, spritz with water and run through the die cut machine then turn out onto the desk to dry. Once they are dry hot glue to the EZ Stem Floral Wire holding the blooms allowing the leaves to hide the wires.

Once everything is dry arrange on the card front and hot glue in place.  Use a Hydra Sponge and Dries Clear Adhesive to add Crystal Clear Glitter to the blooms.

Hot glue the bow to the flower stems and allow to dry and the card is finished!

Introducing the Iris Garden Collection from Heartfelt Creations....

Good morning everyone and welcome!  l'm here to introduce you to this lovely Iris Garden Collection from Heartfelt Creations! Here in East Tennessee the Iris flowers are just beginning to bloom!  It's a truly glorious time of year here.  My dogwood trees are in bloom and below the dogwood blooms the majestic Iris blooms are stealing the show!  The Iris is the state flower of Tennessee so you can imagine just how poplar it is!  I can remember as a child visiting a farm where a woman sold Iris roots for 5 cents each and my mother purchased every color you could image.  We had them growing all along the side of the yard!  You can find my card here in the Heartfelt Creations Gallery.

My finished card size is 4" X 9".  Make card base out of Deluxe Flower Shaping paper and cover with a piece of Sheet #5A of the paper collection.

Using white cardstock and Luxe Gold cardstock cut two of the Slim Lattice Oval die.  Glue the two together so the gold peeps out from behind the white.  Set aside.  Cut a Slim Eyelet Rectangle die out of white cardstock and cut a piece of Sheet 6B to cover. Glue to card front.  Tape the Slim Lattice Oval die cut temporarily to the card front and decide where to position the oval die to cut the opening.  Remove the Slim Lattice Oval die cut and run the card front through a die cut machine.  Now layer the Slim Lattice Oval die back over the opening and glue down to card front.

Cover the inside of the card with a piece of Sheet 12B and stamp the sentiment with Majestic Violet so it shows through the opening.

Stamp the flower petals with Majestic Violet and the leaves with Leaf Green.  Cut out with coordinating dies.  Color the leaves with Leaf Green and Olive and color the flowers with Majestic Violet just on the edges.  Place leaves and flowers onto mold, spritz with water and run through the die cut machine.  Turn out on the desk to dry.  Once dry poke a hole in the center of the flower petals and thread a stamen through using hot glue to secure in place.  On one of the flowers cut part way through the center of the petal and cut another in half and hot glue the half petal in the slit of the whole petal. Take this and glue to another petal and the flower is ready.

Decide on placement of flowers and leaves and glue down.  The card is finished.

Inspiration Wednesday with Heartfelt Creations

Good morning everyone and welcome!  I'm here this morning to share another card with you that I have made using Heartfelt Creations products!  You can find my card in the Heartfelt Creations Gallery with all the details.

My finished card size is 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" tent fold card.  Make card base and cover with a piece of one of the 6 X 6 panels on Sheet 9A.  Cut a 1 1/2" by 5 3/8" piece of sheet 6A and edge the piece with Morocco ink. Glue down on the left hand side of the card front.

Using white cardstock cut out one of the circles of the Rounded Window Frame Dies and glue down to the center of the card front.

Stamp the flower petals and leaves using New Sprout ink.  Cut out with coordinating dies.  Color the flower petals with New Sprout in the center and Morocco ink on the edges and back.  Color the leaves with Leaf Green and edge with Olive.  Lay flowers and leaves onto mold, spritz with water and run through the die cut machine.  Turn out onto desk to dry.  When dry, punch a hole in the center and thread through the stamen and use hot glue to hold in place.  Layer two petals to make each flower.  Arrange along the side of the circle and hot glue down.

Stamp the sentiment onto a piece of one of the panels on Sheet 11a and cut out using an arrows die.  Cut another arrow out of white cardstock and glue the two together.  Tuck it up under the flowers and glue down onto card front.  The card is finished.
