Inspiration Wednesday with Heartfelt Creations...

Good morning friends!  Well here we are on the last day of October and this year just keeps clicking off those months at a very fast pace.  Soon we will be celebrating Thanksgiving and then Christmas is just a hop and a jump away!  So lets enjoy these Fall days and get ready because winter is on it's way.

This morning I'm here to share another card I made using the Buttons and Blooms Collection from Heartfelt Creations.  This is just a fun collection and can be used for so many occasions!  I will be reaching for this one for many uses in the future!

Instructions: My card is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2". Make card base and add a piece of blue cardstock cut 1/8" smaller. Next cut a piece of the paper collection and cut it 1/8" smaller and glue it down as well. Set this aside while we work on the elements for the card.
Using Danube Blue Memento Ink stamp the pocket onto a piece of blue cardstock and another one onto a piece of the paper collection. Cut out both with the coordinating die. I cut off the top part of the paper collection pocket and glued it to the blue cardstock pocket.
Stamp flower petals onto white cardstock using Cantaloupe, Majestic Violet and Danube Blue inks and cut out using the coordinating dies. Color the buttons with Majestic Violet and glue one to the pocket. Shape the flower petals and add Prills to the centers and set aside to dry.
Using Olive Green Stazon Ink, stamp the leaves and color using Bamboo Leaves ink. Load them into the mold and run through the Sizzix Vagabond machine. Set the leaves aside to dry. Using Majestic Violet ink, stamp the sentiment onto a stamped arrow on a piece of the paper collection and use coordinating die to cut out. Add dimensional tape to the back and adhere it to the pocket. Add dimensional tape to the pocket and adhere it to the card front.
Decide on placement for the flowers and leaves and glue them into place.

Inspiration Wednesday with Heartfelt Creations....

Good morning everyone and welcome to Inspiration Wednesday with Heartfelt Creations.  This morning I'm sharing my most favorite thing in the crafting world....a tag!  Tags just make me happy and this one with it's lovely shades of blue and bright and cheerful flowers just really makes me smile!  Heartfelt Creations, in all their wisdom, chose to give us a tag die and now they are super easy for me.  Just pick your papers and use the tag dies and suddenly the tag comes to life.  All you have to do is decorate and the sky is the limit!  Thanks Heartfelt Creations for doing all the heavy lifting!

Instructions: Click here to view a larger image of this project. My tag is 4 x 6". Cut out two tags using white cardstock and the coordinating die. Glue the pieces together and this makes a heavier tag. Cover with a piece of the paper collection cut with the coordinating die. Using blue cardstock, cut out the base for the medallion and the two corner pieces using the coordinating dies. Glue the two corner pieces to the bottom of the tag. Add the buttons to the corner pieces by gluing them down. Find a medallion on the paper collection and use the coordinating die to cut out. Glue it to the medallion base. Using dimensional tape adhere the medallion to the tag front.
Stamp the flower petals using various inks onto white cardstock. Use the coordinating dies to cut out the petals. Spritz the back with a bit of water and use the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit to shape; set aside to dry. Add coordinating color Prills to the center of the flowers and allow to dry. Decide on the placement of the flowers and glue them down.
Using blue ink, spread some onto a craft mat and spritz with water. Spray some seam binding with water then drag it through the ink and scrunch to allow to dry. Once dry tie a bow and use Scor-Tape and Designer Dries Clear Adhesive to adhere to top of tag.

Inspiration Wednesday with Heartfelt Creations....

Good morning everyone and welcome!  We are getting closer to having frost on the pumpkin here in East Tennessee and I'm really looking forward to it.  We are at the middle of October and the weather is forecasting "cold" by the end of the month.  After the heat of this summer, this old girl is longing for "cold".

I'm here this morning to share another card I have made using the Buttons and Blooms collection from Heartfelt Creations.  This is such a versatile collection and works up into pure heaven when you make a card or tag.  I hope you have purchased your set and are well on your way to creating some gorgeous projects!

Vellum Flowers and Butterfly....

Good morning everyone and surprise!  I most never post here except for Wednesdays, but I have a card I want to share with you this morning.  I made this using products from Heartfelt Creations as I followed along with one of Emma Lou's online classes:  How to Create Vellum Flowers and Mini Album Class.  Pay close attention to the Butterfly as there are many layers and lots of movement.

I used the Fluttering Butterfly stamps and dies and the Sweet Peony Stamps and Dies for the flowers; all from Heartfelt Creations of course!  I'm thinking the next time I use vellum I might try some glitter.  Just feels like this needs glitter, but then again I do love me some glitter!

Have a happy Monday and be creative in whatever you do today!

Instructions: My Card is 5 x 7". Make card base and cover with a piece from the paper collection. cut a piece of white cardstock and emboss it with the folder and adhere to the card front. Cut another piece of the paper collection and glue down onto the embossed piece. Stamp the sentiment onto this piece of the paper using the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
Stamp the flower cluster and berries twice. Using Majestic Violet Archival Ink and the Dove Blender Pen to color the berries. Use a dauber and Bamboo Leaves Memento Ink to color the leaves. On the second cluster, cut out only the flower. I snipped the petals in between and shaped them a bit using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit then adhered using the Dimensional Tape.
Glue down the medallion to the bottom of the card and it is ready to go. This one will mail in an envelope for less expensive postage.
