My card size is 4 1/4 X 5 1/2.
Make card base using white cardstock and cover with one of the card fronts that has been layered with a coordinating piece of the paper collection.  Next stamp, cut out and color the Plumeria flower petals on watercolor paper.  Dampen the back of the petals and shape and glue together.  Add glitter to the petals and set aside to dry.  Next comes the leaves and they were stamped, cut out, colored and shaped using watercolor paper as well.  I cut out a sentiment from the paper collection and used dimensional tape to adhere to the card front.  Arrange the flowers and leaves where you like them and glue down.  Once the glue is dry, your card is finished!

Circle Plumeria Card....

Good morning everyone and welcome once again to Heartfelt Creations Wednesday!  I am here sharing another creation using the Tropical Paradise Collection.  I love the bold colors and the wonderful images as well as those Plumeria flowers!  The closest thing to a tropical paradise that I have ever experienced is the Dog Days of Summer in East Tennessee.  August can be very tropical but not actually in a good way! I have to admit I had never seen a Plumeria before so I had to go looking for a picture to know what the finished flower should be.  As it turns out, I love these flowers and hope you enjoy them as they grace the front of my cards for the next few weeks!

My card size is 5 X 7.  Make card base and emboss the front using the embossing folder. Set it aside. Next I cut out layers using the rectangles dies and different cardstocks.  I also used a piece of the paper collection as there are several layers of this die.  Glue the layers together and then use dimensional tape and glue to adhere to the card front.  I picked out an image from one of the card fronts of the paper collection and I cut it out using the circle die.  Next I again used the circle dies and cut out a frame using the teal cardstock.  This is achieved by just using the two largest dies.  Glue the circle frame to the image and use dimensional tape and glue to adhere to the rectangles on the card front.  Now stamp, cut out, color the flowers and leaves.  Dampen the backs of the flowers and shape then add some glitter to the petals and set aside to dry.  Next glue the flowers and leaves down around the circle medallion.  When the glue is dry, your card is finished!

My card is 6 X 6.  Make card base out of the watercolor paper for strength and stability; set aside.  Pick one of the 6 X 6 card fronts and using the Circle Dies cut out a circle in the center then cut a smaller opening circle out of a coordinating piece of the paper collection.  Glue these two pieces together and then back with purple cardstock.  I used some of the dimensional tape around the opening to give it a bit of depth.  Next I stamped, cut out and colored the Cockatoo and then added some of the glitter to some of the plumes around it as well as to the Cockatoo.  I slipped it down in between the yellow frame and the purple cardstock.  I added some dimensional tape to the Cockatoo and then glued it down. Next stamp, cut out, color and glitter some of the ferns and fronds and set them aside to dry.  Stamp, cut out, color and shape the flowers.  Add glitter to the edges and set aside to dry.  Next I stamped, cut out and colored the flamingo and added glitter on him and set him aside to dry as well.  I used ink to stain the seam binding and scrunched it and set it aside to dry.  Once dry I tied a bow and adhered to the bottom corner of the card.  I decided on the placement of all the elements and glued them down.  I cut out the word using purple cardstock and then glued it to the upper corner of my card.  My card is now finished.
