Inspiration Wednesday with Heartfelt Creations.....

Good morning friends!  This morning we are continuing on with the Burst of Spring Collection from Heartfelt Creations.  After all the horrible weather we have had in these parts these sweet pansy faces are just making me smile.  When the sun came out, I did a walk in the yard with my girls and there are trees budding and daffodils are blooming; Spring cannot be far!

Cut out the cage die using white cardstock. Glue the cage to the card front. Place flowers along the side and glue down. Allow to dry. Find the sentiment on the paper collection and using the coordinating die cut it out. Add a flat back pearl to the edge of the little tag and put dimensional tape onto the back. Cleaning Up My Craft Desk.....

Recently I've had a bit of extra time and decided it was time to do a bit of cleaning in my craft room before I began to lose things.  Usually I will have dies go missing when my room gets too cluttered so I decided just to bite the bullet and do it.

Sometimes left overs from other projects can make a really pretty card.  I've been needing a birthday card for a friend and here is what happens with some extra bits and pieces.

All Heartfelt Creations products of course, except for the embossing folder and it is a 3D folder from my stash.  Lots of glitter all around and some pretty flowers.  I just love the way it turned out!  White on white with a splash of color.  I hope you enjoy!

Other Products: White Cardstock, Dimensional Tape, Spectrum Noir Marker PL4, Crafter's Companion Gemini, Vagabond
For more tips on creating with the Burst of Spring collection, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/_8WJPTKIUlQ.
Instructions: My card is 5 X 7". Make card base and cover with a piece of the paper collection. I also covered the inside of the card with the same paper but you could use a coordinating color of the paper. Use the Eyelet Border Basic Die and cut a wavy edge down the 7" side of the card front. Take a piece of white cardstock and using the Eyelet Border Basic Die and the Fleur Border Basics Die and cut a scalloped piece to glue down the front of the card base. Once this piece is glued down, glitter the white edge of the card front and set aside to dry.
Using Jet Black Archival Ink stamp the frame and using the coordinating die cut it out. Color the frame using the marker and color the leaves and buds with the Dove Blender Pen and inks. Use the dimensional tape to pop up the frame a bit from the card front to give it more dimension. Now set the card aside while we work on the flowers.
Stamp the flowers with Archival Deep Purple and Memento Lulu Lavender inks. Color them with the same colors of inks. Next run the flower petals through the mold and the Vagabond 2 and then set aside to dry. Glue Prills to the center of the flowers and then glitter the edges and set aside to dry. Once the flowers are dry glue them to the frame on the front of the card.

Instructions: My tag size is 4 x 6". Using the Album Tags and Accents Dies, cut out two of the larger tags from black cardstock. Glue these together. It makes for a very sturdy tag and it will stand up to adding a lot of weight and it will be harder to damage the tag in transit. Now cut out a smaller die from this set using the paper collection and glue it to the base tag. I punched a hole in the top of the tag and threaded a piece of purple ribbon through. Next, I cut out the medallion using white cardstock and then I also cut out the shadow piece using purple cardstock. Glue these two pieces together and set aside.
Now let's work on the flowers. Using Deep Purple Archival ink and Lulu Lavender Memento ink, stamp the flower petals onto white cardstock. Stamp the leaves using the Olive Green Stazon ink. Color using different ink colors to suit your taste. Using the coordinating die, cut out the petals and leaves and place them onto the3D Shaping Mold and spritz with water then run through the Vagabond machine. Lay out to dry. Once dry, add Prills to the centers and glitter and again, allow to dry.
Stamp the Pansy Spray using Jet Black Archival Ink and color in with the daubers and the Dove Blender Pen. Add the flowers to the spray and then using dimensional tape, adhere to the medallion. Glue the medallion onto the bottom of the tag creating a pocket.
Find one of the tags on the paper collection and cut out using the Ticket and Tags Die. Punch a hole in the tag and thread some of the purple ribbon through the small tag. Stamp the sentiment onto the tag and then place it into the pocket.
My Second project for this morning is a card:

Using Deep Purple Archival ink and Lulu Lavender Memento ink, stamp the flower petals onto white cardstock. Stamp the leaves using the Olive Green Stazon ink. Color using different ink colors to suit your taste. Using the coordinating die, cut out the petals and leaves and place them onto the3D Shaping Mold and spritz with water then run through the Vagabond machine. Lay out to dry. Once dry, add Prills to the centers and glitter and again, allow to dry.
Stamp the floral image using Jet Black Archival Ink onto white cardstock and color using various inks and the Dove Blender Pen as well as the Stack and Store Daubers. Layer molded leaves over the image and glue down. Add the flowers to the image and add dimensional Tape to the back Set aside while you prepare the base for the medallion.
