As you might suspect the majority of the hoard is Heartfelt Creations but I opened a drawer yesterday and found a stack of Graphic 45 8" X 8" paper pads. These two split front cards were made using the video you can find here: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W7mK-szgV9o">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W7mK-szgV9o</a> by Patti Dolan. I now have my pattern so I can now make these pretty cards whenever I want. Both of the cards I'm sharing are using the Graphic 45 Sweet Sentiments from long ago and far away. </p><p>I have been following Leslie Miller at <a href="http://runningwithscissorsleslie.blogspot.com">Running with Scissors</a> for many years and she has been sharing this lovely design. She sparked my interest with the beauty of her cards and of course I had to go in search from my own pattern to use myself. Thank you Leslie!</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvuAphGTh5NEWqy4Uqmo8-NRgT5hVlznbgoAP97CtxLXxxciT2ptCcURSrbke3ZgvAA_iUPJt8WO7xUn9d6Bodce8fQybGwVPuvW-IEgaWt4fP8JEjWbk1jfB_IQ894raVzq-6rBGbM6bvmTPZ7XSDJKVMWf06YlzqJkf_E6Tge7-cDik-Jnf2bjqR2mKn/s1763/IMG_6528.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1763" data-original-width="1352" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvuAphGTh5NEWqy4Uqmo8-NRgT5hVlznbgoAP97CtxLXxxciT2ptCcURSrbke3ZgvAA_iUPJt8WO7xUn9d6Bodce8fQybGwVPuvW-IEgaWt4fP8JEjWbk1jfB_IQ894raVzq-6rBGbM6bvmTPZ7XSDJKVMWf06YlzqJkf_E6Tge7-cDik-Jnf2bjqR2mKn/w490-h640/IMG_6528.JPG" width="490" /></a></div><div><br /></div>I had two sheets of this paper...flowers on one side and dots on the other so I just cut enough to make two cards. The one die cuts the whole card base with score marks and you just fold and add pretty paper and your card is ready to go. The die came from Temu...many people don't like this company but I find their craft supplies are pretty good and dirt cheap. Here is my first card ready for the mail.</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipKJ7fnc4ESw5_Mtk_8MxU3nFdHI720BGXMZr7ehXbEe4s0tgqDRUNNrZLnsdW8ZhJ69Bqs2BLFgFiGjDBAyJ9gXlBXFfLV28xMywZYxFTLB08So0zC5xwDLIPMkYyae0Zg__th_gmUYqh1QMyS9rKRvJN95mn0u340JhPRDZ_VlL7goZwUmYW7BVavZKf/s2679/IMG_6509.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2679" data-original-width="1894" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipKJ7fnc4ESw5_Mtk_8MxU3nFdHI720BGXMZr7ehXbEe4s0tgqDRUNNrZLnsdW8ZhJ69Bqs2BLFgFiGjDBAyJ9gXlBXFfLV28xMywZYxFTLB08So0zC5xwDLIPMkYyae0Zg__th_gmUYqh1QMyS9rKRvJN95mn0u340JhPRDZ_VlL7goZwUmYW7BVavZKf/w452-h640/IMG_6509.JPG" width="452" /></a></div><br /> And the next photo is the inside of the card: <p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQzAHVzWcNkE1itRW04rZEnaRxj82t14Le1jyPlxZ8KCcUW1GSaW7zOkLSglAG1LE538_2BT3dO6rvL-H1kzq0F1gwmFVbBQgDjkygwmvBkP4ByVhGNGFZjkxD-J3Begb0QVfWlPdKWTcrQV_tlRAY1NXY5QsVdnYXYHQQfa9Z7T_75P2okIMWURhcSWWy/s2909/Inside.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2320" data-original-width="2909" height="403" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQzAHVzWcNkE1itRW04rZEnaRxj82t14Le1jyPlxZ8KCcUW1GSaW7zOkLSglAG1LE538_2BT3dO6rvL-H1kzq0F1gwmFVbBQgDjkygwmvBkP4ByVhGNGFZjkxD-J3Begb0QVfWlPdKWTcrQV_tlRAY1NXY5QsVdnYXYHQQfa9Z7T_75P2okIMWURhcSWWy/w506-h403/Inside.JPG" width="506" /></a></div><p>The papers are from the Heartfelt Creations Sweet Magnolia Collection and those sweet little flowers are from my stash. When I make flowers for a card the ones i don't use go in a big container and I find lots of goodies in there these days! The card uses magnets to keep it closed so it will have it's best foot forward at all times. I think I'm in love and you will be seeing this die used again and again!</p><div class="blogger-post-footer"><a href="http://pinterest.com/pin/create/button/" class="pin-it-button" count-layout="horizontal"><img border="0" src="//assets.pinterest.com/images/PinExt.png" title="Pin It" /></a></div>Glendahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15978664725946400372noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6535511646591524431.post-28105766448739066682024-02-28T04:56:00.000-05:002024-02-28T04:56:30.552-05:00Best Wishes...<p>In my never ending quest to make cards that are able to mail with a single first class stamp, here is my next offering for you.</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_hbXcvIjTVDE7UFF2S24iQN7nTMJoWHFToJXkNlW5kXuTnlK73qBmnLWFHmrK3GMfnSCZxPNTgNKj3vH5c_1018W8_DFN2qiBGt9ynpUxDrW3x2JJhoTZRPINcFy3wvx87pQx6uWTOCGowD1ooCib955MGpTHmVi6loFlNkh1yXbJC21fBPcf72LUBazX/s2049/Best%20Wishes.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2049" data-original-width="1633" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_hbXcvIjTVDE7UFF2S24iQN7nTMJoWHFToJXkNlW5kXuTnlK73qBmnLWFHmrK3GMfnSCZxPNTgNKj3vH5c_1018W8_DFN2qiBGt9ynpUxDrW3x2JJhoTZRPINcFy3wvx87pQx6uWTOCGowD1ooCib955MGpTHmVi6loFlNkh1yXbJC21fBPcf72LUBazX/w510-h640/Best%20Wishes.JPG" width="510" /></a></div><br />My card is a 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 tent fold card made by using only Heartfelt Creations Tulip Time papers. Well here in East Tennessee we have gone from temps being in the single digits and snow a week ago to 53 degrees and thunderstorms today! We are on a roller coaster with our weather but I have to admit the rain is a nice break from all that snow and cold we endured last week! </p><p>My thoughts have turned toward Spring this morning so I'm here to share a card I made using the Lisa Horton Calla Lily embossing folder and die. It reminds me of Easter!</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxVWJFzKX72ZqP_S4sKtnP18lGS8E9Rms7ILAwOs7UKugKOmM3iY3YiOqIfLeZRb7ZLi8MYD7Wh6CbjKnkWRVKzroncHeCaYQZsH0FXNYmfBaOa4wiJF0LYBWJRbSSyBvqomHdUo2-1jWbM0UXXZIVGGR0cSlEiT8pSF6AZBYn7yqqtnLwIcLq3j8vKdU3/s2433/IMG_6425.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2433" data-original-width="2018" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxVWJFzKX72ZqP_S4sKtnP18lGS8E9Rms7ILAwOs7UKugKOmM3iY3YiOqIfLeZRb7ZLi8MYD7Wh6CbjKnkWRVKzroncHeCaYQZsH0FXNYmfBaOa4wiJF0LYBWJRbSSyBvqomHdUo2-1jWbM0UXXZIVGGR0cSlEiT8pSF6AZBYn7yqqtnLwIcLq3j8vKdU3/w530-h640/IMG_6425.JPG" width="530" /></a></div><br />I colored it with chalk and mounted it on a panel embossed with an old swiss dot folder from long ago. I'm here this morning to share a card I made for the <a href="https://cyhtp.blogspot.com">Can You Handle The Pressure Challenge</a>. I have several embossing folders and am trying to use them more so this challenge is just perfect for me. The only rule is you must use an embossing folder. The optional them this challenge is SNOW PEOPLE. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4Cx9yOgin3aGO-c_gFjsOeipoA6I7FviPPLBoZ3AzCAufVkEdPv86BTHHjqBX8tRxyOALsQbiE8vKA33CbIMoBscqbvCDQK5Cbo-4IJ81nngsgRT9FW2PdxYPLgWKuOQ0SA38XTjn0ddNZrrZ8LIEZv3YhyphenhyphenamS1tUK67tmy7gHX6fcfwkAQN_4j8OBEXP/s3167/IMG_6422.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3167" data-original-width="2806" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4Cx9yOgin3aGO-c_gFjsOeipoA6I7FviPPLBoZ3AzCAufVkEdPv86BTHHjqBX8tRxyOALsQbiE8vKA33CbIMoBscqbvCDQK5Cbo-4IJ81nngsgRT9FW2PdxYPLgWKuOQ0SA38XTjn0ddNZrrZ8LIEZv3YhyphenhyphenamS1tUK67tmy7gHX6fcfwkAQN_4j8OBEXP/w568-h640/IMG_6422.JPG" width="568" /></a></div><p>I used a Tim Holtz embossing folder and I think the name is Bricked. The snowman is from Heartfelt Creations and I stamped onto watercolor paper and colored with my Inktense pencils. I am a little behind with my birthday cards so I decided to make this one of them. The sentiment is also from Heartfelt Creations. </p><div class="blogger-post-footer"><a href="http://pinterest.com/pin/create/button/" class="pin-it-button" count-layout="horizontal"><img border="0" src="//assets.pinterest.com/images/PinExt.png" title="Pin It" /></a></div>Glendahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15978664725946400372noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6535511646591524431.post-70113662193396635052024-01-08T10:45:00.001-05:002024-01-08T10:46:00.772-05:00Word Power Challenge....<p>Good morning my friends and welcome. I'm here this morning to share another card with you and I'm entering it into the new <a href="http://wordpowerchallenge.blogspot.com">Word Power Challenge</a>. The purpose of this new challenge is to showcase our sentiment stamps. </p><p>My card is 6 X 6 and I used some of the many flowers I already have made up and waiting. Mostly they are left over flowers from when I was on the Heartfelt Creations Design Team. I just chucked them into a huge jug and kept on moving. Now I'm on a mission to use them. The sentiment is also Heartfelt Creations from long ago and far away. In the beginning most of Heartfelt Creations sentiments were of bible verses. I'm very fortunate to have a few of these and I cherish them. </p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJJyVUSouY9ZVkRLjIITbj9ym6hh-54JOVjdi-MRcQoOTwSRBhybmPvcFcHmMsOKqyT1Z5TBEVD5POalsPO91Jkav2ibNwuwdbXOK6mgOyC-qcXNPoO9kVoH7VkWwuVSDLJubgZ0lxYWMCv_ROZv4M2V67edRD4xIYJ3lhb0Z7bWgCH9WYfMa0Nd3oKO0I/s2310/IMG_6396.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2051" data-original-width="2310" height="355" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJJyVUSouY9ZVkRLjIITbj9ym6hh-54JOVjdi-MRcQoOTwSRBhybmPvcFcHmMsOKqyT1Z5TBEVD5POalsPO91Jkav2ibNwuwdbXOK6mgOyC-qcXNPoO9kVoH7VkWwuVSDLJubgZ0lxYWMCv_ROZv4M2V67edRD4xIYJ3lhb0Z7bWgCH9WYfMa0Nd3oKO0I/w400-h355/IMG_6396.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br /> This is a brand new challenge blog so go check them out by clicking this link: <a href="https://wordpowerchallenge.blogspot.com">Word Power Challenge</a><p></p><div class="blogger-post-footer"><a href="http://pinterest.com/pin/create/button/" class="pin-it-button" count-layout="horizontal"><img border="0" src="//assets.pinterest.com/images/PinExt.png" title="Pin It" /></a></div>Glendahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15978664725946400372noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6535511646591524431.post-44054625021405217182024-01-05T06:29:00.002-05:002024-01-05T06:29:53.076-05:00Happy Birthday Double D Challenge!<p>Good Friday morning my friends and welcome. I've been missing for a bit but I've been putting Christmas away...what can I say...I'm slow. I'm here this morning to play along in the <a href="https://daranddiane.blogspot.com">Double D Challenge </a> and to wish them a very Happy Birthday! Below is a copy of their mood board for the challenge.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRwlhlUbdx7QMdh9Jz6efgdPwtX6PozWlIFlQ_i2C5npbNkFEPN-tYW5smCJ1S5LbHTISF5EFr7kY-swDdhI45uT4rmFCGMFwhXtBymdX2Uz5FnKSlP0jP3lfE5i9rAdJDbOgZL2tVUvfawh_hBYiPYxi5JeiXSFXRbZB2v_XqUxvU6-NX9CKb02OPWqrt/s400/DD%20BD%20jan24.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="400" data-original-width="267" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRwlhlUbdx7QMdh9Jz6efgdPwtX6PozWlIFlQ_i2C5npbNkFEPN-tYW5smCJ1S5LbHTISF5EFr7kY-swDdhI45uT4rmFCGMFwhXtBymdX2Uz5FnKSlP0jP3lfE5i9rAdJDbOgZL2tVUvfawh_hBYiPYxi5JeiXSFXRbZB2v_XqUxvU6-NX9CKb02OPWqrt/w268-h400/DD%20BD%20jan24.jpg" width="268" /></a></div><div><br /></div>And here is my card:<div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1BWPmFOiFcOcHZUnD66abEw3OmYbC5ykuwy8pI_D34CGiHjklchckn75mIDil93annAA8NMzSgiJAXPiG2fw8yWpTxaUOdkSMS4PydGn0FlDnWm2uXZkXJX87Nbli8xgX55TrJrZ2ziM3mNn9OpQ0aTdwXAvXH3SxhWmX5bMAWApxUDFM7DkL7SUeWb4K/s1802/IMG_6385.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1802" data-original-width="1403" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1BWPmFOiFcOcHZUnD66abEw3OmYbC5ykuwy8pI_D34CGiHjklchckn75mIDil93annAA8NMzSgiJAXPiG2fw8yWpTxaUOdkSMS4PydGn0FlDnWm2uXZkXJX87Nbli8xgX55TrJrZ2ziM3mNn9OpQ0aTdwXAvXH3SxhWmX5bMAWApxUDFM7DkL7SUeWb4K/w311-h400/IMG_6385.JPG" width="311" /></a></div><br /><div>I used a new embossing folder from Simon Says Stamp called Fresh Daisies. I'm just running through this morning to say hello and to post my latest Christmas Card that I will be submitting to the <a href="https://cyhtp.blogspot.com">Can You Hangle The Pressure Challenge</a>. I love playing along in these challenges because it allows me to make cards using my embossing folders. I have several that have been collecting dust and I'm always happy to play with them.</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiv8tyXaBHobPRbxwBg6iJCp7x8Jwn2wqfaju_UAforku7CKBlEN0XrNqtaumwdmHW59JXVqbrFlqIVYdTTSQK_e_2M_6mWHMbOs2-8sTF1YAKj2zpgiMHSkPjk4WIBMDUJeN-MdQG_YorYtXxbgw3eUCCLrkhvTtL3zR303tRhAx9vJPgQ7Z6mhzvMqf-z/s2729/IMG_6356.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2729" data-original-width="2454" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiv8tyXaBHobPRbxwBg6iJCp7x8Jwn2wqfaju_UAforku7CKBlEN0XrNqtaumwdmHW59JXVqbrFlqIVYdTTSQK_e_2M_6mWHMbOs2-8sTF1YAKj2zpgiMHSkPjk4WIBMDUJeN-MdQG_YorYtXxbgw3eUCCLrkhvTtL3zR303tRhAx9vJPgQ7Z6mhzvMqf-z/w576-h640/IMG_6356.JPG" width="576" /></a></div><p>I used some gold gilding wax to run over the raised portion of the image and it turned out beautifully. The picture doesn't do it justice but my photography skills have never improved. I'm thinking this will probably be my last Christmas card for the season, I'm ready to move on to other floral cards.</p><p>I hope you enjoy the card as I had a lot of fun making it.</p><br /> <p></p><div class="blogger-post-footer"><a href="http://pinterest.com/pin/create/button/" class="pin-it-button" count-layout="horizontal"><img border="0" src="//assets.pinterest.com/images/PinExt.png" title="Pin It" /></a></div>Glendahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15978664725946400372noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6535511646591524431.post-19030593858066328172023-11-27T05:47:00.005-05:002023-11-27T05:47:59.769-05:00Christmas Blessings...<p>Good morning my friends....Let Christmas Begin! My tree is up and shimmering, the wreath is on the door, my mantlel is lit and the centerpiece on my island. That's going to be about it as there will be no shenanigans here other than the ocassional visitor so it's all good. Just remember, what goes up has to come down too so let's not get carried away! </p><p>I'm here this lovely Monday morning to share another Christmas card I have made and I want to share it over at the <a href="https://cyhtp.blogspot.com">Can You Handle the Pressure</a> challenge.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEid464hXRdi0q7gcv0-eUmExYEsnMit0WTlzyX-BsRGCsNS0HrP6SBoxmi-hYnrBoJ-z01E90mqb74FIFK78MaQr7C-E6yPlRtAyVU1odYwaiPFa8oLhD5jfji0jKCwUqufPzDPqlx-_7dClr7vMphNYOs3uGvb9ccA_9-4OW5FYWdIz43Vor2u46Ntg4iE/s1377/Christmas%20Blessings.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1377" data-original-width="1104" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEid464hXRdi0q7gcv0-eUmExYEsnMit0WTlzyX-BsRGCsNS0HrP6SBoxmi-hYnrBoJ-z01E90mqb74FIFK78MaQr7C-E6yPlRtAyVU1odYwaiPFa8oLhD5jfji0jKCwUqufPzDPqlx-_7dClr7vMphNYOs3uGvb9ccA_9-4OW5FYWdIz43Vor2u46Ntg4iE/w513-h640/Christmas%20Blessings.JPG" width="513" /></a></div><p>The challenge is Anything Goes Embossing with a Twist of Christmas. My card size is 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 and it is a tent fold. I have used an Anna Griffin embossing folder called Snowfall and the card starts out as white on white. So I decided to add a pop of festive color to help it along. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYfk3RjftyEIXvADwgAsDnvZ2tzCW2TH3J3Q864whYXtfo6MLfZLiPBzcJeFszKa9TAkgsRaDI25P5ZWHtNyCOopw9QskdTiNf-UljU6ZXb548FFEhuT5bZ97MHFg5fAsX_02FOv0PoscFLG5ul15I7M90pDEFZp60wqSt0XdE7GRv7KW-lyuNjoEfsNpJ/s2502/Christmas%20Blessings%201.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2502" data-original-width="2344" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYfk3RjftyEIXvADwgAsDnvZ2tzCW2TH3J3Q864whYXtfo6MLfZLiPBzcJeFszKa9TAkgsRaDI25P5ZWHtNyCOopw9QskdTiNf-UljU6ZXb548FFEhuT5bZ97MHFg5fAsX_02FOv0PoscFLG5ul15I7M90pDEFZp60wqSt0XdE7GRv7KW-lyuNjoEfsNpJ/w600-h640/Christmas%20Blessings%201.JPG" width="600" /></a></div><div><br /></div>Recently I re-discovered my old, old Spellbinders dies and I have been playing with them here and there. I love the look of embossing on the cardstock! You can see it better on the first picture. I made a red base for my sentiment which is an old, old Stampin-Up stamp. I seem to use it every Christmas so it has seen some love! The little bits of greenery and berries are from Heartfelt Creations Festive Berry and Birds stamps and dies and I watercolored them using my watercolor pencils. <div><br /></div><div>I do hope you enjoy my card and come play along in the challenge <a href="https://cyhtp.blogspot.com">here.</a><br /><p><br /></p></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><a href="http://pinterest.com/pin/create/button/" class="pin-it-button" count-layout="horizontal"><img border="0" src="//assets.pinterest.com/images/PinExt.png" title="Pin It" /></a></div>Glendahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15978664725946400372noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6535511646591524431.post-86893344062280269212023-11-10T06:16:00.001-05:002023-11-10T06:16:44.041-05:00More Cards For The Nursing Home Patients....<p>In order to keep my creative juices flowing I have been making cards with intentions of sending them to the Nursing Home (Beverly Park Place) in Knoxville, TN. The sweet activities director spends time helping patients address and sign the cards for loved ones. Also these cards are meant to sit on a window sill or table in the patients room for them to enjoy. I try to keep them colorful and bright.</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOtJufG3TvpyKt1h4VST2Bluhh80e2fTD7uDyxTe-3qLIg32UiIfmjJ01bohLllZAhjjaxplVDfZjERdpzIDCRiPoybETi0G4IHNCzqq5jQSrPiaHViizMXPcd0ummjv-C9N_hlecWHi2L4Lm9GmdK1g8mxEvUvLMBZtqvDZs5gJkwZcHdXftBQ__H_Apt/s1932/IMG_6301.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1932" data-original-width="1576" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOtJufG3TvpyKt1h4VST2Bluhh80e2fTD7uDyxTe-3qLIg32UiIfmjJ01bohLllZAhjjaxplVDfZjERdpzIDCRiPoybETi0G4IHNCzqq5jQSrPiaHViizMXPcd0ummjv-C9N_hlecWHi2L4Lm9GmdK1g8mxEvUvLMBZtqvDZs5gJkwZcHdXftBQ__H_Apt/w522-h640/IMG_6301.JPG" width="522" /></a></div><br />I used Heartfelt Creations Burst of Spring Collection papers because my craft room is running over with these paper pads from when I was on the design team. <p></p><p>I've also been trying my hand at making wax seals and then inking the images to make them pop. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhk9jKh-EyOqurWZu6yOUCpWNTG0LgouDYkkLMOQ08-HtCoA40_Ol1JMa4shX576ToZxTwLL0wJ5vA1vsi26-m2F1DVbgCgGVfh81oNtMIoHkINR3iKpywxxtZs_vrbYG2vnwcqFBf4ApbiF13gWwe30YwDHIlP2cfuVkuY7bQ0m8NZ3DHlQagmVB9PBuma/s1336/IMG_6297.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1336" data-original-width="919" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhk9jKh-EyOqurWZu6yOUCpWNTG0LgouDYkkLMOQ08-HtCoA40_Ol1JMa4shX576ToZxTwLL0wJ5vA1vsi26-m2F1DVbgCgGVfh81oNtMIoHkINR3iKpywxxtZs_vrbYG2vnwcqFBf4ApbiF13gWwe30YwDHIlP2cfuVkuY7bQ0m8NZ3DHlQagmVB9PBuma/w440-h640/IMG_6297.JPG" width="440" /></a></div><p>Here you can see the inside mechanics that allow the card to stand on it's on. November is here and we woke up to a brisk 32 degrees and, as always, the closer we come to daylight the colder we will get. I think we are scheduled to drop to 30 before day break. This is a shock to the system as a couple of days ago we were pushing 80!</p><p>I'm here this morning to share another card with you...another Christmas card for my stash. I send several cards and also send to the nursing home for the patients to give to anyone doing them a kindness. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiyii7vgBuUAUHlCXpXq6lB0URBWPNHR2m6y9DcO6sWYBi42MpNZj19AGM5W9EDSFnltfgGKuN8LcSwLfvemqaN_WhXywePBsolijIUsROU3UmrdMWteJGA878S0TTyIa6_jmXasmQQQ2Bi8FbH7sHuUmALOfi0b_47t2p0bfKhVw7HY41BDWZPFr7jSV4E/s580/rsz_green_christmas%20(1).jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="580" data-original-width="412" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiyii7vgBuUAUHlCXpXq6lB0URBWPNHR2m6y9DcO6sWYBi42MpNZj19AGM5W9EDSFnltfgGKuN8LcSwLfvemqaN_WhXywePBsolijIUsROU3UmrdMWteJGA878S0TTyIa6_jmXasmQQQ2Bi8FbH7sHuUmALOfi0b_47t2p0bfKhVw7HY41BDWZPFr7jSV4E/s320/rsz_green_christmas%20(1).jpg" width="227" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><p>I have used the Holiday Ornaments collection from Heartfelt Creations and the embossing folder is from Spellbinders...I think the name is: Scenic Poinsettias. I've been working toward getting some more Christmas cards finished and some ready for the Nursing home as well. Of course I used Heartfelt Creations flowers and pretties and all against a Spellbinders Christmas embossing folder called Scenic Poinsettias...what more could you ask for?</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgD_oTURqperrFoIm8u_rE-VPmdCynQt9bSgC9gqohVIZ1nNYXzKLRadD4xylr-HKUB1YIIMnLqDjdKerMMq932kVPXHCseWV-bbZ-hAVuuDBs26OpeLSs1Y_QZHfyYoDF0vH8vstrN1MERJvVGHtl1GE7SO94pzW6vwBkXwFsdzP47lCw06AEUjWWqf1pO/s2127/glenda%20%20222.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2127" data-original-width="1494" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgD_oTURqperrFoIm8u_rE-VPmdCynQt9bSgC9gqohVIZ1nNYXzKLRadD4xylr-HKUB1YIIMnLqDjdKerMMq932kVPXHCseWV-bbZ-hAVuuDBs26OpeLSs1Y_QZHfyYoDF0vH8vstrN1MERJvVGHtl1GE7SO94pzW6vwBkXwFsdzP47lCw06AEUjWWqf1pO/w450-h640/glenda%20%20222.JPG" width="450" /></a></div><br /><p>All the images were colored with inktense watercolor pencils and a waterbrush. I did many of these pretty images so I can make quite a few cards before I need to replenish my stash! Come on in and lets have coffee! I'm here happily sipping away on my first cup and I can say I'm just happy this morning. Not too many aches and pains and up and moving...what more could I ask for?</p><p>I'm here this morning to share another card I made using Heartfelt Creations products. I'm not going into a lot of detail but I still loving making their flowers! I'm entering this card in the <a href="https://cyhtp.blogspot.com">Can You Handle the Pressure Challenge</a>. </p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQBO9G2tWxUnqB091zWwtgmknZg5FDAnU7C-8Xn7WaYfzb4Evq3uqyNdvhjMT5Hq-ZVF98cYTOxWHBG4MJoc5Ik1y3A5-OqFEJQbp2J5XWQEURcQL5JzBPVN2DAg0AATbntdiOKEdZYTGwQVgpRs3KrJzfrno4igMQnqXBGVJDmMCJQD8rUIyzF-uQZ3EE/s1780/IMG_6182.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1780" data-original-width="1278" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQBO9G2tWxUnqB091zWwtgmknZg5FDAnU7C-8Xn7WaYfzb4Evq3uqyNdvhjMT5Hq-ZVF98cYTOxWHBG4MJoc5Ik1y3A5-OqFEJQbp2J5XWQEURcQL5JzBPVN2DAg0AATbntdiOKEdZYTGwQVgpRs3KrJzfrno4igMQnqXBGVJDmMCJQD8rUIyzF-uQZ3EE/w460-h640/IMG_6182.JPG" width="460" /></a></div><br />I have been on a journey to find a card that can mail with a first class stamp and I think this one qualifies. The pretty little die behind the flowers was one that was lying on my desk so it was perfect for my card. I love it when that happens.<p></p><p><br /></p><div class="blogger-post-footer"><a href="http://pinterest.com/pin/create/button/" class="pin-it-button" count-layout="horizontal"><img border="0" src="//assets.pinterest.com/images/PinExt.png" title="Pin It" /></a></div>Glendahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15978664725946400372noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6535511646591524431.post-13501313523242191372023-10-18T05:01:00.003-04:002023-10-18T05:01:53.189-04:00WOYWW 750.......<p>Well I slipped off for a few weeks and didn't post here. I'm sorry but truth be told, I didn't craft much at all. Sometimes I get in a slump and just don't do anything....this was one of those times. If you have an interest, our hostess Julia at <a href="http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com">Stamping Ground</a> is the place to be. Go have a look around and join us if you like. You just take a photo of your workspace and post it there and then you can visit all the links and see what that person has going on in their world.</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhTYEAsr3J_ggExDAsl1MzMJ4WQFli1uwf5yX_X1DRvZUu0Sugnh5Jfr3ZgzgtcvBAtMxOApw-HM7Lrfg_n_QoiGuDsx0n1j2q7fvFb5moP_Hc1cbbE9-dY-ZfWp22UZXJ2735CPI1TppgM326hnLWFA2ScgC4H8C1zMq554KmYFVy0YD-RwMDXCWzqcsAe/s1086/IMG_6184.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="815" data-original-width="1086" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhTYEAsr3J_ggExDAsl1MzMJ4WQFli1uwf5yX_X1DRvZUu0Sugnh5Jfr3ZgzgtcvBAtMxOApw-HM7Lrfg_n_QoiGuDsx0n1j2q7fvFb5moP_Hc1cbbE9-dY-ZfWp22UZXJ2735CPI1TppgM326hnLWFA2ScgC4H8C1zMq554KmYFVy0YD-RwMDXCWzqcsAe/w640-h480/IMG_6184.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br />Here is my mess. I recently purchased a Spellbinders BetterPress System and these are some of the plates for that. It is a pack of sentiments for many occasions that I just received in the mail. I use Ranger Distress watercolor paper to imprint on and that is lying under the package. Also some clear stamps I just received...I had the idea to use this on the center of my flowers. Not sure it will work out but that is the idea. Just more stuff here and there and lots that needs to be put away. Maybe today I will get around to that.<p></p><p>Well that does it for me this morning. I'm off to link up and then to visit some of the ladies participating. But first a cup of coffee for me!</p><p><br /></p><div class="blogger-post-footer"><a href="http://pinterest.com/pin/create/button/" class="pin-it-button" count-layout="horizontal"><img border="0" src="//assets.pinterest.com/images/PinExt.png" title="Pin It" /></a></div>Glendahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15978664725946400372noreply@blogger.com17tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6535511646591524431.post-57709782262883387602023-10-16T05:45:00.001-04:002023-10-16T05:45:59.087-04:00Wishing You All The Best....<p>I received a new to me Betterpress plate and decided to make this card to add to my stash. Here in East Tennessee we have been enjoying some gorgeous weather with just a hint of Fall in the air. This is my favorite time of year. When the weather begins to cool and the sun shines it just makes me happy. I feel like firing up the broom and flying! LOL</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjFGaqyYAFfI2f5GK8j2nUm7VQdwTRM6VQcUvsCYZ0m3xqc2RIWhlq8x6X8WB8nnhUc3mIvnhm2wjJ7_gMcOMbkYQbYcF9se-X00nFzftaBvfDwbDETAvPCxYMX-yGgTmt7t38Cg8_rnuPsH3y-QcoRE2Nxv8jHSXA2MznItrmrCUHLf5z83X8v45LJ08aF/s300/Butterflies1.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="300" data-original-width="273" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjFGaqyYAFfI2f5GK8j2nUm7VQdwTRM6VQcUvsCYZ0m3xqc2RIWhlq8x6X8WB8nnhUc3mIvnhm2wjJ7_gMcOMbkYQbYcF9se-X00nFzftaBvfDwbDETAvPCxYMX-yGgTmt7t38Cg8_rnuPsH3y-QcoRE2Nxv8jHSXA2MznItrmrCUHLf5z83X8v45LJ08aF/s1600/Butterflies1.jpg" width="273" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I invested in a Spellbinders Betterpress System and these butterflies and sentiment are from one of the plates. My photo doesn't show the texture but my fingers can feel it and I think it is a good twist! I love the cardstock Spellbinders sells but I'm also using my own watercolor paper as well. I love getting a new product and then testing it out to see what all it can do. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">The weekend is almost upon us and I hope it's a good one for you.
