Good morning friends. Welcome to my little corner of the world. This morning I'm here to share another card I made for Heartfelt Creations. Can you tell I love Sunflowers? They remind me of Fall and here in East Tennessee you can feel a change coming; just a hint of Fall in the air. We are still quite warm but because of dry weather leaves are beginning to come down! It won't be long!

A Shaped Card from Heartfelt Creations...
Good Friday morning everyone! I typically have not been posting on Friday but decided I wanted to share a shaped card I made that was inspired by Liz Gaze
https://www.facebook.com/HeartfeltCreations/videos/10154784450962401/
When I watched the video I was totally inspired. The idea had crossed my mind to make a shaped card like this but I just had never taken the time to try it. Well I finally did and I'm in love with these adorable cards!
These little cards are just adorable and I love making them! I actually made two and I will share the other one later. They didn't take much time at all and can be used for so many ocassions so go and watch the video and make one for yourself. They are quick and easy and ready in a matter of minutes!

Instructions: My card is 7 X 7. I made the card base using the watercolor paper because of the size and for stability. Decide on which window box you want to use and cover it with the paper collection. Cut one of the card fronts to fit on the back panel and glue it down. Glue the box to the front of the card leaving the right side unglued so you can slip in the tags later. Next using Rich Cocoa Memento Ink I stamped the sunflowers, leaves and bear onto watercolor paper. Using various Distress Inks I watercolored all the elements. Add the Prills to the flower centers and set aside to dry. I used Glossy Accents to cover the ladybug and set it aside to dry. Once everything is dry, decide on the placement and glue them down. Next using the tag dies cut out the tags and the backing and glue them together. Add the ribbon and slide them into the side of the box. Next find a sentiment and back it with the navy blue paper and using the dimensional tape adhere it to the top of the card.

A Quick Birthday Card.....
Good morning everyone! Do you find you are always needing a birthday card? It used to be I'd just pop out and buy a card and mail it but now I feel guilty if I spend that money when I have all these paper crafting supplies stored here! Recently it was my brother's birthday and of course I didn't have any made up ahead of time so I needed to get one made to send off to him. I have a die that cuts out a step card so I was able to make up a card rather quickly and then I actually decorated it with leftover bits left on my desk from another card so it all worked out!
The fox, flowers and pretty papers are all from Heartfelt Creations. They always have just what you need for making all kinds of projects and make it so easy to "WOW" the people who receive your cards!
Well that's it for me! I"m off to get my day started. I plan to clean the craftroom today, it is really getting messy!
