WOYWW .......

Good Wednesday morning my fellow deskers and welcome to what's going on in my world!  If you are curious about this post you can head over to Julia's Blog (she is the creator of this little bit of madness) and she has everything you need to know about this listed at the top of her page.

I have several photographs for you this morning as I have been quite busy.  I've also been canning vegetables but I haven't taken pictures as of yet.  Maybe for next week...

First up is the card I made using the flowers that were on my desk last week.  I love how it turned out and think once received, it will be loved!

Next is my desk this morning with more flowers beginning.  The pink thingy is a flower shaping mold from Heartfelt Creations.  It is such a life saver if you are old and have arthritis.  It adds lots of dimension to the petals with one pass through a die cutting machine.  I save my pennies so I can purchase them!

And lastly is another desk in my room where I photograph my projects...you can see the corner of the white board I use as a background for them and my "high tech" lamp from Walmart for additional lighting.  We can make do with whatever we have in a pinch!  I just pulled the dies out of one of the drawers of the desk so I can see them.  For me, out of sight, out of mind.

Well this is it for me my friends.  I hope I have kept your interest for a little while.  I'm off to visit as many of you as I can!

That card is beautiful - the flowers are simply gorgeous. You are a good advert for Heartfelt Creations - which reminds me, Emma Lou is on tv over here - yes she is in the UK at the moment complete with belly buddy. Shame I cannot get to see her, I do miss going to CHA to see her and Richard.
So you recommend the flower shaper? I have not made flowers in ages, perhaps I should pick it up again. If your flowers are an advert for it it must be good to use.

Ahhh so that’s how you make them, Glenda, thanks for sharing that, how clever just pass it through the machine! Now if I was a flower lady I’d save my pennies too. Love how you colour them too.
Your card is superb and will be loved I’m sure! Great rectangle die. ❤️
Thanks for being a blessing, God bless you too.

Gorgeous card, who couldn't love it. I've got one of those pink press moulds. I went to a workshop using Foamiran and of course had to get the stuff and haven't got round to using it yet but it makes gorgeous flowers but not sure they will be as lovely as yours, certainly when I make them Lol! Hope you're having a great woyww and many thanks for the lovely comment over at mine, Angela x13x.

the flowers are really pretty and just a gorgeous card! I am afraid I don't do anything for lighting my photos, never think of it... how very professional of you!! Have a great week. Helen #1

You are so right about "out of sight out of mind". I like your idea for photographing cards. I can never get them in the right light.

I too love those Heartfelt Creation flowers. I have admired them for a couple of years now, ever since I saw them at a show. I wanted all of them, but I backed away when I realized the expense. Someday, maybe. They are definitely beautiful!

Happy Wednesday!

You made those wonderful flowers from last week even more wonderful Glenda. I adore the textures background you chose, is it embossed? I have looked at those moulds often but I do not make as many flowers as I used to, great tool though.
Look forward to seeing more creations with those splendid flowers.
Happy WoywW & thank you for your visit earlier in the day. Tracey #4

What a stunning card, Glenda, and your flowers are amazing. I adore making paper flowers. I have never seen a flower mould like that before, or that you could make them with a die cutting machine in that way. Awesome! It's nice to see someone's set-up for photoraphing their work. So often all we see is the work, and it's helpful to see how other people manage this. For all that I've got such a beautiful studio, the lighting is not great because wherever I am, I seem to cast a shadow which messes up the photos. I try to photograph things in the daylight which is better. I have halogen spots all round the room but they aren't quite in the right position which is a bore. Nothing to be done about it!

So that's a flower mold? I didn't know how they worked until I read your post here and then I went and watched a video for the first time. Just curious. So now I see how you make these utterly gorgeous flowers for your cards! You must have the most fun! Such a beautiful card with the embossed center panel and lovely frame. Love the little bird in the corner and, well... those flowers! Be still my heart!

I've never heard of a flower mould but it does an amazing job as those flowers are soooo pretty! Hope the canning went well, I'd like to see the results of that!

I really need to check into those flower molds ... I've seen you use them before and totally forgot about them ... thanks for the reminder. It's always fun to come see what's going in in 'Glendaland' lol. Sharing tips/tricks with fellow crafters is one of my favorite things to do. HUGS and HAPPY 4th of JULY!!

Out of sight..for me too Glenda, which is why when I ‘tidy’ my work desk it just looks like a desk covered in random piles!! My word that card is simply gorgeous, amazing what a talent like you can do with paper. I like the idea of the moulds, the details are staggering.
