I took this photo yesterday afternoon after I did some clean up in my room. I'm working with the Lush Lilac Collection from Heartfelt Creations and I had pulled these stamps to have on hand. Also some new gingham ribbon and a pack of dies that I will use to make small banners for card fronts. Now I'm ready to work on a project I plan to start soon. I have to clean in between projects or I suddenly can't find anything. I have actually lost dies and never found them. Probably wound up in the trash but I did go through the trash can and never found them. They are too expensive to be losing them!
Well ladies that does it for me this morning. I'm off to visit as many of my fellow crafty friends as I can. Have a lovely day and a great rest of the week!

I always clear up between projects too as I can't bear wasting time searching for stuff! Those gingham ribbons are just gorgeous, they work with everything, don't they?

Mm, I need to clean up between projects too, however sometimes when working in duff locations, which happens as never colour in craft room, I’m forgetful of tidy up my real desk needs that, sorted some stuff today.
Your project sounds nice, especially Lovely Lilac is Right up my alley. My craft mat hasn’t been that clean since used alcohol inks.
They’re deadly. But oh so yummy. It doesn’t wipe off so guess that is all that matters, your garden will be growing now too Magpie.
Remember that you’ve a lovely garden.

Have to admit that I always clean up between paintings. Gives me a sense of completion before I move on to the next project. Pretty ribbons.

Hi Glenda, I generally try to clean between projects, as I am always forgetting where things are if I don't put them away where I know they belong. Even then, I still forget where I have put stuff! Your desk looks lovely and spacious .... must be a great place to work. Thanks for stopping by earlier. My colouring skills are improving, but still need more practice with blending the colours. By nature I am a'push to one side until the space is too small to work in' type but lately I have found it easier to tidy up at the end of a session - don't know how long it will last!!! Your desk is an inspiration! Chrisx33

I have to work in this way when in production of Christmas cards as I have so many to make there needs to be a clean and clear area so's not to spoil any, but for now everything is messy as there's usually lots of paint and inky flying around. Beautiful stamp set, the ribbon reminds me of my Daughter when she was younger and the pigtails in her hair.

Also have to clear away after each project but it does cause a little tension between me and hubby - he helps me lift heavier stuff out of my cupboards and often mutters "you mean the one I just put away?" when I ask for something. Have also lost the odd little die or stamp no matter how careful I am - and isn't it jolly annoying! Thanks for popping by my desk Glenda, it was lovely having you visit. Love Debbie xXx
Because parchment projects take several days to complete properly, I always have several on the go at one time. That makes it hard to clear up after each project. My real clear up sessions come after I have turned the place upside down looking for a lost item, or when the avalanches get out of hand. Hi Glenda! I can not tell you how many stencils I've lost this way! They go into a pile and then the pile gets thrown out. I've never lost a die yet, but that's because I tend to do die cutting on the floor (unless using my Sidekick) and they're more visible there. It's incredibly frustrating when you're looking for something and you can't find it! I'm not always disciplined enough to tidy up after each project, but I know I should!
