WOYWW #518

Good morning my friends and welcome to another get together of like minded crafters sharing a glimpse of their work space.  Each Wednesday we gather and take a photo of our space and link to Julia's Blog.  Julia is the creator of the wonderful bit of madness and I am so grateful she continues to put up with us tramping all over her space on Wednesday!

At first look this looks like nothing and right now that is exactly what it is.  Actually it is the very beginning of a album and I think I have a long way to go! Also there are two tea bags and two honey sticks for one of my next projects as well.  I have really become addicted to adding these items to the inside of my projects as a little gift for the person receiving it.    I've taken a break from crafting to do some long overdue cleaning on my back porch.  Everything was cluttered and I pulled a lot of stuff off and took to the basement; now the basement is cluttered.  What's a girl to do?  It's some of that "I might need that one day" stuff and I just hate to throw out good stuff!  But I've been really trying to turn loose of a lot of stuff lately so I will try and continue along.  The porch does look nicer and I am looking forward to being finished.  But for now this is what you get!

That's all for me this morning.  I'm off to visit some of the other girls and see what they have going on.  I'm a very nosy girl for sure!

I guess all projects have to start somewhere Glenda! It'll be interesting to see the progress of the album.

A bit of de-cluttering is good for the soul. Moving the clutter is better, although in a few more years when you still haven’t used any of it, you will ask yourself the big old ‘why’ question! A new project is a lovely reward for all the work, and it’s fun to see the real bare bones, because anyone that ever saw one of your finished albums would struggle to believe the origins!

Oh I love seeing the start of a new creation Glenda and i'm excited to see what you create with those honey sticks. Good to hear you have made the most of your downing of crafty tools, I find it hard to throw out anything as I can always see another use for it but it's just not viable to save everything is it?? Least you have a basement to hide all yours :))

Lovey to be starting a new project, and I love the little teabags and honey sticks - I've never heard of a honey stick but it's a lovely idea of yours. You sound a bit like me with your clearing out, I always think I might need something in the future and a lot of my stuff moves from craft room to garage to utility room to hall and back to craft room depending on which room I currently want to be clear and tidy!
Hope you have a great week, looking forward to seeing the album and how it progresses,

Good to see your desk, a big project ~! or should I say 2 Your end photos of your patio were awesome. Good Job. I too have been trying to get the storage area cleared out, but I hang on to more than I need also. I donate to 2 different shops and love to take home a few of their other items. Our weather here is MESSED up, we now have a few tulips and the sweet little viola's that tolerate cold, blooming but limited buds etc just wind, cold and rain. Our road tonight was almost AGAIN impassable 1/2 mile of muck. So garage/cars are a mess. Enjoy a great week Hug those precious fur babies for me.

I love the idea of putting something 'extra' to an album that you give away! I know the 'problem' of keeping 'stuff' just in case... after several house moves I am now a bit easier in throwing things out though, it really helps if you have to put it all in boxes and move - you become less materialisic then, ha! Thanks for stopping by my blog the other day, I am late with my return visit so instead of happy 'Wednesday' I wish you a nice weekend! Hug from Holland, Marit #22

I have no idea what a honey stick is but it sounds tasty and a very nice surprise to include in a project. I imagine your basement is like a lot of folks attics - stuffed with unwanted but to good to throw away objects. Have X great weekend. Elizabeth x #27

Sadly a day only has 24 hours in it, so we need to make decissions on what to spent time on, and cleaning from now to now has to be done, unfortunalty, will hop in again to see the finished album, am very curious, thx for your visit and sorry for the late visit, Vicky #16

Good morning, Glenda. That whole sorting business is exactly why I'm way late this week. But I have to be done by the end of the weekend so we shall see. Creative Blessings! Kelly #28
