What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #537

Good morning friends.  Wednesday has rolled around again and I'm here sharing a look at my work space!  If you are curious about why I'm showing a photo of my desk this morning, just head over to Julia's desk and have a look around.  Julia is the creator of this little bit of madness and she allows us to overtake her blog each and every Wednesday for this world wide blog hop!  We are a friendly group and would love for you to join us if you want! Julia has all instructions there so come join us!

New toy in the house!  I purchased a Crafters Companion Gemini Foilpress machine.  I've only gotten to play for a short while so I haven't really had much time to experiment but I can say I do love it already.  To the left you can see a roll of the foil paper used to cover the stamps.  I can imagine some gorgeous Christmas cards very soon.  I'll keep you posted as I go along but for now I know the machine works and is going to make some gorgeous pieces!

This is short and sweet this morning and I'm off to visit as many of you as I have time for.   Have a great day and a lovely rest of the week!

Hi Glenda, good news on the Foil Press. Been looking at them, not sure yet though. I'm not sure I'd use it enough. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #5 X

Ooh a foil machine - I've been looking at them but resisted so far. I'm sure I'll be even more tempted when I see your future creations with it!

I have no idea what a foil machine is!! But anything that makes something sparklier and shinier is good in my books. I am an unashamed magpie :-)

Was given one to demonstrate once at a show and I loved it. A bit out of my price bracket for the number of times I would use it but the results were spectacular.

I have no idea how this machine works its magic, so I'll be interested in what you have to say about it as you use it more. New toys are the best!

Ooh a new toy!! Which reminds me, I have had my GoPressFoil for a year and I think I've only used it once. I do like foiling just always in such a rush can't be bothered to get it out - Now if I had a really big craft room where I could leave all the machines out it would be a different story I'm sure.... yes I love my Grand Calibur, along with my aging bug it is my go to machine. It is my second one, I broke the first and missed it so much I hunted around and bought a secondhand one - I was really lucky it was like brand new - and came with a cover!! Happy WOYWW and thanks for the earlier visit, Cindy #16

Ohhh yes, fascinating indeed, Magpie, can so understand why you’re in love with it, I’ve a laminator, that’s as far as my purchases will go, I’m so slack at using specialist equipment so will enjoy your creations and cheer you on, so love your desk.
Happy WOYWW. Thanks for sharing, Shaz in Oz.x #20
