Heartfelt Creations Wednesday!

We have made it to Wednesday once again and I'm happy to see this week on a down hill slide!  I have dug in the dirt until my back is screaming and I truly need a rest!  This morning I have another card to share with you using the Heartfelt Creations Spring Cardinal Collection .  Have I said before how very much I have loved working with these designs?  I'm sure I did, several times over...because I do just love these images.  You can go to the Heartfelt Creations store using the above link and see this collection as well as many others for sale.  All of their stamps a very high quality rubber and make a perfect image each and every time you use them!

Heartfelt Creations Stamps and Dies

HCPC 3384 Cardinal Posy Wreath PreCut Set
HCD 706 Cardinal Family Die
HCPC 3353 Cardinal Family PreCut Set
HCPC 3303 Posy Patch Flowers PreCut Set

Card Size: 4 1/4" X 5 1/2"

I stamped my image, extra cardinals and extra flowers onto watercolor paper and colored with distress inks. I cut out the main image and laid aside. Cut out the extra cardinals with the die and glue them to the original image. Cut out the flowers and emboss them with UTEE Embossing Powder to make them look like glass and glued a pearl to the centers; then I glued them to the main image.  I then embossed white cardstock with my embossing folder and stamped sentiment to the center of the card front. Glued the main image onto card base and the card is ready to go.

Well that is about it from me today...I'm thinking I'm going to need a nap this afternoon.  I'm still moving a little slow since I planted all my flowers Monday.  So wherever you are and whatever you are doing, just take a moment to "Breathe"!  Stop and smell the flowers....(the ones I planted on Monday).  Have a great day and a wonderful rest of the week!

Other Supplies: Ranger Distress Inks (Victorian Velvet, Spun Sugar, Aged Mahogany, Shabby Shutters, Peeled Paint and Dried Marigold) Canson Watercolor Paper, Embossing Ink, UTEE Embossing Powder, Sizzix Embossing Folder (Elegant Wreath) Memento Ink, Pearls, Zip Dry Glue and white card stock.

This is just so Pretty and clean looking. All the coloring and dimension work you did just makes this card. Had never seen that embossing folder before, it looks great with this too.

Absolutely beautiful Glenda - I really like the embossing of the flowers, could I also use Liquid Glass and get the same effect or similar? I have to try this on my flowers.

I'm loving these cardinal projects. So springy! And all that fiddly cutting--you are a pro!!
We finally have some beautiful weather out here on the prairies, so that's definitely something to celebrate. Hope all's well in your corner of the world!
