WOYWW #541.....

Good morning friends!  We have come full circle back to Wednesday once again.  It seems the weeks are just flying by and I can hardly keep up.  If you wonder why I show a picture of my desk this morning just head over to Julia's Blog and have a look around.  It is a wonderful blog hop and includes fellow crafters from all over the world.  Come join us!  The instructions for linking your desk are on Julia's blog and we would love to have you become one of us!

I have begun making little 2" square boxes for the nursing home!  They can be used to house little gifts for bingo and such and it is just a tiny bit I can do to give back.  If one of my little  creations brightens the day of one of the residents then I have achieved what I set out to do.  I will be doing lots more of these and then for Christmas I'm doing kleenex box covers for some of them.  I have so many papers and this will be a good way to use it up.  I have more paper than I can possibly use before I die so it is time to start cutting into it!

Well that is it for me...I'm off to link up and visit as many of my fellow deskers as I can.

Agreed re more stash than will ever use, that’s why I’m making extra cards as gifts.

Hi Glenda! Love those llittle boxes, very cute. I love making boxes but they are such a pain to store, especially as I like to stick all that lovely stuff on the outside to make them pretty. I had to laugh about using up yuor papers befor you die - guilty as charged!! Still hurts to cut into some of it though!! Happy WOYWW Cindy #18

Great idea to use up your stash for such a good cause - that's why I make the sunglasses cases for my charity. Better than the paper/fabric just sitting in boxes in our craftroom eh?! Love the little flower on top, they're bound to be used again and again!

What a lovely idea Glenda, I’m absolutely sure that the pleasure you get is nothing compared to the pleasure you give. They are such pretty boxes too, ideal size for a little gift.

I can't believe it took me 3 days to get here. That's what happens when I limit my computer time; I get so behind. These are the cutest little boxes, Glenda. You're doing good works and using up some of your papers in the process!
