Good morning everyone! It's Friday and we are going into the Memorial Day Weekend. I hope you have wonderful plans and lots of time off work. As for me, I plan to do some chores today and then spend some time with my husband and of course make a little time for crafting. We have been having some terrible storms here and he is working on a tree that fell on a house. Fortunate for us the storms have skipped over us and gone on to other neighborhoods. We had a little hail and lots of rain and wind but no damage here.
My card this morning is using Heartfelt Creations Stamps. I stamped and colored using Ranger Distress Inks then I cut out and did my card. The stamp is
HCPC 3393 Tea With Bella PreCut Set. My card base is Canson Watercolor Paper. It is thick and rigid and makes a great base card. I added a layer of Burgundy card stock and a layer of coordinating paper and secured them together. Attach the cut out image to a Spellbinders Labels 6 cut out of the same Burgundy card stock and secure that to the card. Next I cut pieces of ribbon and glued them to the corners...tie a bow and attach to one of the corners and then attach everything to the base and it is ready to go.
Now I am off to get my second cup of coffee...you know me, I just gotta have it! I hope your day is a beautiful one and that Mother Nature smiles on us for awhile! Remember, life is short, take a little time to Breathe!
