Lots of Roses....

Good morning my friends and welcome to my dusty blog.  I'm having so much fun playing along in some of the many cardmaking challenges out there and today I'm visiting the Love Those Pretty Papers Challenge.  As I have a hoard of pretty papers in my craftroom, this is perfect for me.

Today I'm using the Floral Fashionista paper from Heartfelt Creations from 2018. The colors and florals just speak to me and they have done all the heavy lifting for my card.  A little sentiment from my stash ... also from long ago (Life Lines from Flourishes.)  I'm not even sure if that company is still in business.

This card was so much fun to make so I hope you enjoy it!

Ice Skates...

Good Saturday morning my friends.  I'm here this morning to share a Christmas card I have made to enter in the Peace On Earth Christmas challenge.  It has a miss matched use of different items from my stash and I think it turned out really cute.

I used an embossing folder with no name on it and smooshed it with some white ink which helped to brighten it up a bit.  The wreath and skates are from Heartfelt Creations and the Snow word is just a random die I happen to have in my stash as well.  Also used lots of glitter on the skates and the snowflake.  This one is going in my box for the nursing home.

Bicycle Corner Tuck Card ....

Good morning my friends and welcome.  I'm here on the lovely Monday morning to share a fun fold card with you that has been around for a year or so but it is new to me.  I find I'm really enjoying making these cards and YouTube has a lot of videos about making these so I decided to give it a try.  I dearly love how this one turned out and I will be making more of these for sure.  I'm entering this card in the Can You Handle The Pressure Challenge.   (Any embossing folder with a twist of wheels)

I used a purple cardstock for the card base and papers from the Heartfelt Creations Sweet Magnolia Collection and the bicycle if from the Heartfelt Creations Young at Heart Collection.  The sentiment is from Just Right Stamps and is from long ago and far away.  The lovely embossing folder is a Sue Wilson folder named Fanciful Flowers.

Here is a closeup of the bicycle...

And at last the inside of the card with a look at the sentiment.

I hope you enjoy this card...it was a joy to make.  I'm always looking at new and different ways to make a different card.

That's it for me this morning...I'm off to enjoy my Sunday.

And So It Begins.....

Good morning my friends and welcome.  It is so very hot and humid here in East Tennessee our minds wander to anything Winter, or Christmas.  Anything to get to stay indoors!  I've decided to start on my cards for Christmas and now I can play in the Peace on Earth Christmas Challenge.  This one has been one of my favorite challenges since it started.  I don't play along often but now I think I might be around more often.  I also am planing to enter this one into the Can You Handle the Pressure Challenge as well.

The gorgeous embossing folder is from Gemini and it's name is Yuletide Decorations.  I just had to add some sparkle for good measure and the pretty paper is from Heartfelt Creations Festive Holy Collection.  I just love the birds and Holy!

Well this is about it for me this morning.  I need to move along and get some chores done.  Have a great day!
