WOYWW #285

Good morning everyone and welcome!  It is a frosty 14 degrees outside my window this morning!  I'm here to share my workdesk with you; showing my little mess to you and the world.  Each Wednesday we take a picture of our work space and blog about it and then link to Julia's blog to become a little bit of a huge blog hop.  Then we can visit each other's blogs and see what is going on in everyone's little corner of the world.

I own a light tent and lights for photographing my creations, but sometimes I just like to throw up a couple pieces of cardstock on my desk and use my Ott lights and take the photos that way.  I'm by no means a photographer so I'm a firm believer in whatever works!  I've been working on Christmas cards day after day and this is the latest one!  I do love working with Christmas...it's my favorite time of year!  Here is a good look at the card.  Hope you like it!

Now I'm off to link to Julia's blog and then to visit as many people as I can today!  I love being able to see what everyone else is doing, especially this time of  year!  So heat up the coffee, I'm on the way.

Happy WOYWW. Love the card - particularly the 'net curtain'. Can you come over and make some for me - I have only got a few finished so far. Great coffee machine on all the time! Ali x #42

An absolutely stunning card, love everything about it.
Liking your "cleared" workspace, missing all the goodies though.

Love your card - a peek into Christmas! I love peeking in other people's windows - from afar mind you! I think of their lives, what they do, how many children. . . I guess that's why I like peeking at other people's desks as well! Stay warm! Lindart #60

That card is delightful, Glenda! I agree, Christmas is really 'the most wonderful time of the year' and I love the run up to it - so exciting (yes, I am a big kid!!) Hugs, Chris # 8

Beautiful card Brenda! Very nostalgic with lace in the window and I love that brick! Did you do it with a embossing folder? I don't have any lighting tents or equipment...I have lusted after a pop up one but that is for the future for now I rely on my OTT light too. It has been miserable cold here too! In my 62 years I have never seen it this cold this early in November. It was 82 degrees one day and in the mid teens the next. Snowed on Sunday and schools were closed on Monday...yep definitely miserable weather! Thanks for stopping by my desk! Have a creative week! Vickie #17

What a great card! It's beautiful.
Thanks for visiting me earlier on. What a shame it's so cold! I can't find out where in the world you live, but i heard there is a cold spell in the US with snowstorms etc. I feel ever so guilty when I spend an afternoon sitting in the sun and complaining it's too hot! (I'm in Spain)
Thanks for visiting me earlier. Have a lovely (crafty) week and God bless.

OMG! That countdown makes me realize just how fast it is coming up. Usually I don't even think about shopping or menu or anything till after Thanksgiving but this year WOYWW seems to be full of Xmas and has been since oh, about FEBRUARY! Love your door card, very sweet.
Now Word verification is gone I can carry on :)

Happy happy WOYWW!

How cute is this! Love it. I've had issues loading photos, and no extra time this week. Cleaning out mom's "sold" house, a double funeral, and visitors coming and Cold, Windy, Snowy weather. Have a fun week.

Beautiful card Glenda, absolutely love it and I love working on Christmas projects too. 13F is cold for your area of the country, especially this early, we're supposed to warm up again over the weekend and next Monday, a little reprieve before it all begins again!

Beautiful card Glenda. Did you paint the embossing folder for the brick work? I have to try it, whatever you did! Happy Thursday dear!

hi Glenda,

What a beautiful card! I love the red ribbon. I can tell you enjoy making all of your cards because they are all so stunning. You are one talented lady!

What a great idea to use paper as a backdrop to take photos. Sometimes I've taken photos outside in the natural light and its hit and miss.

Thank you for visiting me earlier. I'm slowly making my way around to desks. It will be an all weekend affair!
Happy belated WOYWW,
Peace, Kay (12)

I just adore that card and the lace curtains you put behind the window! Sorry I'm late getting around to visit this week's WOYWW'ers, oh heck who am I kidding, I'm a tortoise, yep just have to admit to being slow. I like to poke around at all the wonderful craftiness everyone has on their blogs. My DH thinks it's a disease, lol. Anyway, look forward to seeing you next week!

This is so wonderfully vintage and so perfectly composed. I love the feeling of serenity I get from that simple pine branch in the window frame. Gorgeous!

I don't have any room to set up a light tent and lights, so cardstock and Ott lights is the name of my game. Your photos always look great! I love this card with the red brick embossing and the tree in the window!
