Lately I've taken on the "Pile It" and the "Push Back" techniques as evidenced by my photo.
I've been working on some Christmas ornaments and I found this wonderful video on YouTube by Heather Hudson and I'm hooked. I need to purchase some more of these beautiful flat round ornaments to keep going. You can find Heather's channel at www.youtube.com/user/heatherahudson. I just love her videos and have been having so much fun with some of her ideas! Now that I have the glitter adhered inside these ornaments it is time to begin the decorating process and the possibilities are endless. Oh yes, Heather used Mop and Glow to coat the inside before she poured in the glitter. I had a product called Rejuvenate...I'm thinking anything that has wax in it will work well. I also colored some Tim Holtz Distress Glitter with a re-inker and it is now sitting in the cup to dry. I used Pomegranate ink and I think it will make beautiful ornaments. I will also dye some seam binding to match the ornament when it is finished. I will either make the ribbon darker or lighter than the ornament depending on what mood I'm in. I will be sharing some of these in the coming days so stay tuned.
Just an update...I worked on the link for Heather's YouTube channel it now works. Sorry about that!

Hi Glenda, thanks for stopping by at mine. Need to go and have a look at Heather's blog, looks interesting. Every time I see glitter it reminds me of something my mother always says about Christmas decs and cards
" They must have glitter, it's the law" not sure where she got that from but it works for me Lol!
Happy crafting, Angela x 40
I'm well-practiced in the pile and push back technique! I thought I had invented it! It's such a relief to know that it's not just me! Those ornaments look lush! Thanks for sharing your desk this week! Happy Wednesday! zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle #42
Such a cute idea! And pile and push? I suspect most of us adopt that method. I am going to pop back to see the finished ornaments. Bet they are going to be stunning.
Happy WOYWW!

Thanks for visiting my desk, and yes a messy desk is a busy desk but sometime it really gets impossible to be busy when the 'Pile it' and 'Push back' technique has now where left to be pushed back to. Thanks for nice remarks about my cards.

Those ornaments are going to look fab. I follow Heather Hudson as I like the olde worldy style but I've not tried any of her techniques. (I have very limited materials) Please show us the finished bauble. I'd love to see how it turned out.
Thanks for visiting my page earlier.
Thank you for letting me look over your shoulder.
Have a good week.
