Good morning everyone. I'm hiding out here at home today to avoid the beginning of the mad rush to Christmas! No way would I be caught out in the hustle and bustle and crazy people to try and get a good deal on something. I have never been a lucky person and always seem to be a day late and a dollar short where this type of deal is offered! So today I will recover from Thanksgiving and maybe put up my tree. I don't plan on going anywhere unless there is an emergency!
I want to share a couple of the Christmas ornaments I have made this Christmas. Each year I like to add one or two new ornaments to my tree and most...well a lot...of my ornaments are hand made.
I got this idea from Heather Hudson's You Tube Channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/heatherahudson/videos
This is one creative lady and when I saw these ornaments I just had to have some of them. I've also made some as gifts and I must say this is a quick and easy way to make something lovely! You take floor shine and pour it into the ornament, swirl it around and then drain most of it back out then pour in glitter and swirl it around; let it dry and then pour out the left over glitter then decorate the ornament. Thank you Heather! I colored Tim Holtz Clear Rock Candy Distress Glitter with Tim Holtz Distress Ink re-fills in Aged Mahogany and when it was dry I put it in my ornament. The Distress Glitter is made to color and does it beautifully I might add.
Well this is it from me this morning. I'm off for my second cup of coffee. I hope your Thanksgiving day was a joyous gathering of food and family and that you are ready to begin the Christmas season!

I'm so late for WOYWW that I thought I'd comment here instead, as these baubles have taken my breath away! Aren't they beautiful - you must be very pleased with them. Thanks for sharing the link to Heater H...I need another two hours in the day to watch her now!
Just GORGEOUS Glenda! I haven't made any of these in years ... thanks so much for inspiration! And, I love how you've embellished them ... what a great idea! Very clever and beautiful ... fabulous gift idea indeed!
As far as the Black Friday thing ... NO! I was just as happy to hide out in my cave ... plenty of time for my shopping.
