We have come to another Friday and everyone is anticipating the weekend and I'm here once again to share another card I have made. I have been able to slow up a bit with the outside work as we are hot and dry here now. We really could use a little rain. The last few afternoons have been rumbling with thunder but no rain.
My card is 6" X 6" and I used my Prima Fairy Belle paper collection as the background on this card. I've been hoarding it for some time and decided to pull it out and play with it. I made my flowers and glittered the edges and the stamen for a little bit of elegance. My bow is a piece of seam binding scrunched and sprayed with water and then left to dry. I used a Heartfelt Creations sentiment and then the leaves are cut out using a Heartfelt Creations die. I colored flowers and leaves with Ranger Distress Inks. Then I took the stamen, painted them with glue and rolled them in glitter and then laid them aside to dry. Just some more shine for an old lady that loves glitter! And last and least, did you notice that little butterfly? I stamped and fussy cut it a week or so ago for another project and never used her, so she is fluttering along on this card.
Now on to the weekend! Have a great one!

WOYWW # 260
Good morning everyone! I totally forgot today is Wednesday and on Wednesday I always love to be a part of WOYWW! If you are new to this just head over to Julia's blog and she has instructions and information there how you can become one of us! And today is the 5 year anniversary of this little bit of madness. (I say that with lots of love) I have been around most of these 5 years and I just can't seem to get enough. Each week I start out with the best intentions of how I'm going to visit each and everyone on the list but I have only made it through once! I get lazy along the way and something always seems to call me away.
As you can see I have been making flowers. And this morning I've needed the biggest cup of coffee I could find! I have the glue I use for glitter out and some flower dies and scissors here and there. Also a nut tin that I will alter.....well you get it. Lots of "stuff" out this morning. The little white drawer that is open holds some metal pieces and the little spoon I use for my glitter. Just need to slid that shut!
Well that it for me this morning. Hope you are playing along with us. There is always room for one more! Now I'm off to visit!

Heartfelt Creations May Alumni Design Team Blog Hop....
Good morning and thanks for stopping by for the Heartfelt Creations May Alumni Design Team Blog Hop! We get together once a month to show you some creations we have made using our Heartfelt Creations stamps, dies and papers. I always loved being on the design team and this gives me a way to stay connected. I love their products and hoard them whenever possible! Try to follow along the blog hop and leave a comment on as many blogs as you can. You can never tell which blog will be the one that they chose from. If your name is chosen you win a $25 gift certificate for products from Heartfelt Creations! You have until 12 midnight ET on Friday, May 30th. to leave your comments. Winner will be announced on Saturday May 31st. Good luck to you all!
I love the way these flowers turned out and the Spellbinders dies just add to the finished look of the card. This sentiment is one of my favorites and says it all I think. Did you notice, I turned the designer paper so it is going in two different directions. The bottom layer is going from side to side and the top layer under the flowers is going up and down. I just wanted to add a little bit of interest there. These flowers and the sentiment are some of my favorite Heartfelt Creations products!
Now your next blog to visit along the hop should be Amarilys Doria.
Supplies:
HCD 742 Majestic Blooms Die

Happy Memorial Day!
Good morning everyone and Happy Memorial Day. I'm just stopping in to say hello and let you know I'm thinking of you. I'm hoping you are spending time with family and friends remembering our fallen servicemen.
I'm here to share a card I made using Graphic 45 Le Romantique paper and Spellbinders Dies. I did some distressing along the edges of the pretty pink paper and added some 3D Crystal Lacquer to the three pieces along the bottom. I fussy cut these images out of pages of the paper. The little key was found at the bottom of a drawer; just waiting for me to find it! I think my favorite parts of this card are the little butterflies and the lace peeping out here and there. The sentiment is from Flourishes. I know this is short and sweet but there is lots going on in my world today.
Be sure and stop in tomorrow morning as the Heartfelt Creations Alumni Design Team will be having our monthly blog hop. I look forward to seeing you then!

WOYWW #259
Good morning everyone and welcome to What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday #259! I have been so busy lately with so much yard work and getting my garden in and the weeks are just flying by! This morning I'm sharing my desk with you as part of a little get together hosted by Julia at Stamping Ground. Each week she hosts this little bit of madness and I have become quite addicted. You just snap a photo of your workspace and blog about it and then you go to Julia's blog and link your blog there. Then you can spend some time visiting old friends blogs. I love to visit and see what everyone has going on. It's quite a wonderful way to spend some time on Wednesdays!
Front and center is my new Ranger Ink Pallete and I will be putting distress ink drops in it for coloring with my brush. It has been awhile since I colored some images and I need to get back to my roots! I have been waiting for this pallete for some time as everything I have used in the past has been sort of bulky and would wind up getting in my way rather than making my life easier. I'm hoping this will help me!
Last Wednesday I had a Spellbinders Tool 'n One sitting on my desk and I have used it quite a bit since last week and I'm here to report that it is an amazing tool that I just can't live without! It makes quick work of getting little bits and pieces out of intricate dies. Each year the dies are getting more elaborate and it was quite time consuming to poke out little bits from all the holes in the dies. This is going to be such a big help! Thank you Spellbinders!
The rest of my desk is just some ribbon, some flower petals, ink sponges and ink and some tape; just the usual left overs from a card. If you are interested in what I've been working on, pop back in on Friday and I will post my new card with Heartfelt Creations flowers gracing the front!
Now I'm off to visit the other desks and see what everyone has been doing lately!

Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge # 8 - Show us some Metal or Glass
Good morning everyone and welcome to Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge #8 - Show us some metal or glass! We are being sponsored this whole month by Really Reasonable Ribbon and Sin City Stamps
Sin City Stamps owned and operated by
Donna Harrison in Las Vegas, Nevada, manufacturers deep etched rubber stamps, laser cut stencils, chipboard pieces, page layouts, diecuts and chipboard books.
We will also be participating in a blog hop with design team members from Sin City Stamps. Their names and links will be listed at the bottom of this post. Go check them out and give them some love. We all love hearing from you!
My card is 5" X 7" and I used G45 Botanicabella Collection paper for the background then a yellow cardstock with Spellbinders 5 X 7 Mystical Embrace dies. Then I stamped these Sin City stamps and fussy cut them and edged the pieces with distress inks and then tied these cute little bows with Really Reasonable ribbon. The butterfly is a metal G45 piece that I ran through a embossing folder to give it lots of dimension and texture. Then to top it all off, the glass rhinestones as a finishing touch! Now I have given you metal and glass ... show me what you got! Dive into your hoard and make something that shows us metal or glass! Blog about it and then link it to the Craft Hoarders Anonymous Blog.
You have until midnight PT, June 1st. to show us your creation and be entered in the challenge. You could win both of the listed prizes! How cool is that? Be sure and visit everyone and leave some love; we all love hearing from you!

Corset Card.....
Good morning everyone and welcome. Come on in and have a cuppa and let's spend a little time together. I'm here this morning to share a card I have made using a template for a corset that I found on the internet. I don't have where this came from so I can't link back to the person who drew this. Sorry.
This is my first attempt to decorate one of these and I sort of like how it turned out. I also love the lace peeping out from behind the curled and rolled paper along the edge. I think I will try another one of these with a different form. I also stamped and fussy cut the butterflies and I think they made a good finishing touch for the card. I took white embroidery thread and colored it with distress ink and then sewed the lacing down the front of the corset. I might use a small ribbon on the next one and maybe some stitching along the edges.
I used Graphic 45 papers from the Le Romantique Collection and die cuts from Heartfelt Creations Raindrops on Roses Collection. The lace is from my stash and I've had it quite awhile so I'm not sure where it came from.
Update on the Spellbinders Tool'n One....It's amazing! I used it to clean out the little bits and pieces left in my dies and I don't have to pick out each piece. Just roll that brush over the die and all the tiny pieces pop right out. The fact that it rolls along is what makes it work so well. Would recommend this to anyone!

WOYWW #258
Good morning fellow crafters everywhere and welcome to my workdesk. I took this photo late yesterday afternoon and it still looks the same. If you are wondering why I'm showing you my little mess, head over to Julia's blog. She is the creator of this Wednesday craziness and we all love her for it. I stumbled onto this several years ago and have been a participant ever since. Julia has all instructions on her blog for this so come join us and give it a go. It's all in good fun!
It's pretty much the same view as last week but the elements are all changed. I've been working on a corset card and here are some of the free images I printed off the internet. My new sponge daubers from Ranger....I love this size and use them every day! Front and center is my new Spellbinders tool; it just came yesterday. I didn't get a chance yet to use it so we will see how that works. I'm feeling like it would do just as well for a stiff dental brush but we will give it a go and see. I definitely love the idea of it. Also a spray bottle of Tea Dye ink and water that I use to age pieces of paper or lace. The little jar with the blue and orange lid has watered down gesso in it. I use it when I just want a white wash look on flowers and such.
Well I hope you have enjoyed your time with me this morning. I love playing along with you guys on Wednesday. So now I'm off to visit Julia's blog and start my process of visiting as many of the blogs as I can! See you there!

Pink......
I never was a pink kinda girl growing up but have found, in my old age, I adore pink and all the different shades of pink one can achieve with a little bit of ink or chalk and some nice card stock. Flowers are my thing, so why not a pink flower? Maybe a pink daisy gracing the corner of a pink and cream card with pink butterflies no less!
How's that for some pink? I love these new Spellbinders dies and my flower looks pretty cute on the corner of this sweet pink card. Forgive me all you pink haters out there and the rest of us will rock on!
My card is 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 with a cream colored card base and I used the Spellbinders Card Creator Valiant Honor! I love these dies!
That's it for me this morning. I hope your Monday is a good one and that you find joy in whatever you are doing today.

What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday #257
Good morning everyone and welcome to another Wednesday as I show the little bit of clutter on my desk. If you are wondering about this you can go over to Julia's blog and read all about this wonderful little get together she hosts each and every Wednesday. I love to participate as it gives me a chance to visit some of the other crafters all over the world and see what they are into. There are all kinds of crafters for all walks of life and in the most unusual places and I just love this little snoop!
I saw a video on youtube about making these little pocket tags with a tag using my We are Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board. I think they are so cute and the lady gave instructions for a larger pocket tag as well. How handy is that. Of course my bow tying skills are lacking so I would probably just tie a not in the seam binding next time. I also used some distress ink to edge the tags to give them some dimension. I will probably have more of these in the near future to show you as well. These would be so handy at Christmas Time...yes, I know...I said the "C" word. Please forgive me....I didn't mean it! Front and center are my two rolls of seam binding one white and one off white. I use it for all my ribbon uses. I can color it to match most every project I have. I love that stuff!
Well that's it for me this morning. Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday. Now I'm off to visit as many of the participating desks as I can this morning! See you there!

Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge #7 - Ribbon, Lace and Twine, Oh My.......
Good morning and welcome! I'm here this morning to bring you a brand new challenge for Craft Hoarders Anonymous. Show us your fiber side. Use ribbon, lace or twine on your project. Dig into your hoard...I know you have some ribbon, lace, twine, floss, string or yarn and create a project using that! As long as you have something in the ribbon family on your project you will be able to play along with us!
Our sponsors for the month of May are Really Reasonable Ribbon and Sin City Stamps. What a wonderful combination!
This is a 3" X 3" criss cross sleeve and tag made using G45 French Country 6" X 6" Patterns and Solids papers. I used Spellbinders A2 Scalloped Borders One to cut a design along the top of the tag. It worked perfectly for the size of the tag; how lucky was that! My lace and yellow ribbon is from the April Ribbon Club Assortment from RRR! I love it and am really enjoying the quality of the ribbon and lace included.
To see what the rest of the design team has created for you, click on their names below to be taken to their blogs. Also we have some Sin City Stamps guests participating in our blog hop and their names and blog addresses are also listed. We are so happy to have them join us so when you visit them, please leave a comment for them as well. Your comments makes our day.
Now you need to get busy and create something wonderful using your ribbon, lace and twine! Once you have your creation; link it up over at Craft Hoarders Anonymous blog. All the rules are posted on a page at the top of the blog. You might just be picked to receive the ribbon from RRR and the $20 gift card from Sin City Stamps. That's right, you could take home both of these wonderful prizes! I can't wait to see what you come up with! Now you have until midnight on May 18th Pacific Time to enter this challenge. Good luck to all of you.
