September Heartfelt Creations Alumni Design Team Blog Hop

Hello everyone.  I'm here to welcome you to the Heartfelt Creations Alumni Design Team Blog Hop for September! I love being a part of these hops because I am always inspired by what the other team members create.  This month I used my new stamp and die set (Enchanted Mum) and created a pretty flower and a cute little dragonfly.

February Heartfelt Creations Alumni Design Team Blog Hop

This beautiful paper is doing the heavy lifting for my card this month!  It's the Birds and Blooms Collection and I have fallen in love with these beautiful little birds.  I added some glitter to the swirls of the paper and fussy cut a bird and used dimensional tape to pop him up.  It's hard to see in this photo but it is the little bird under the bow.  Then all you have to do is stamp a sentiment, tie a bow and your card is ready to go.  I love how easy it is!

Heartfelt Creations January Alumni Design Team Blog Hop

Here we are again with a Heartfelt Creations Alumni Design Team blog hop just for you.  Each month we gather together and bring to you this wonderful hop to share our creations and hopefully inspire you to use your Heartfelt Creations products to create beautiful pieces!

I have used some of the wonderful stamps and dies from the January, 2015 release (Birds and Blooms)  I just love these cute little fluffy birds sitting on a tree branch ready to welcome Spring!  After I cut them out and colored them I used my McGill Paper Shaping Tools to give these little guys a more dimensional look.

My card is 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" and can easily be mailed in a regular envelope without extra postage.  I used dimensional tape to pop up the birds and give some added dimension.  I can just tell I will be using these cute little guys often.

Heartfelt Creations November Alumni Design Team Blog Hop...

Good morning everyone and welcome to the Heartfelt Creations Alumni Blog Hop for November!  Each month some of the alumni design team members get together and participate in this hop and I'm always so happy to get to play along. I haven't been on the regular design team for quite awhile but I still love all the products.  Such quality stamps and dies and papers and I could do on and on! Can you tell I'm a Heartfelt Creations kinda girl?  Well I definitely am!

These screen fold cards are sort of popular right now and I decided I wanted to give them a try.  Looking on YouTube you can go as elaborate as you like with the design and decoration.  Since this is my very first one, I decided to keep it middle of the road so I wouldn't over do it.  I love the clean lines of this but I still got to use a gorgeous flower and some pretty ribbon and a sentiment from Heartfelt Creations.  I used some Art Glitter Designer dries clear adhesive and traced some of the pretty swirls in the design paper and then glittered it.  I used the glitter tip for delicate work on the end of the glue and it enables you to do detailed work.  And then here is my sunflower!  I love these stamps and dies and I used some of my homemade glitzy recipe for the center.

Heartfelt Creations September Alumni Design Team Blog Hop

Good morning everyone and welcome to the September Heartfelt Creations Alumni Design Team Blog Hop!  I love participating in these hops because I get to spend a little quality time with some wonderfully talented ladies as we strut our stuff a bit and remind you why we were design team members for Heartfelt Creations!  I love Heartfelt Creations products and always feel like I've come home when I play with their papers, stamps and dies!  They seem to be a perfect fit for my style and I love their flowers!

My card size is 4 1/4" X 5 1/2".  I used the new Classic Sunflower stamps and dies to create the flowers on my card. I love the flower die because it is so easy to line up over the stamped image. Well done Heartfelt Creations! The centers of the flowers used some of the homemade chunky mix  I made myself.  The sentiment is from the Aztec Gold Sunflowers 1 Precut Set that is now retired.

Here is my card.  I have used some of my favorite papers, stamps and dies from Heartfelt Creations to create this special birthday card.  I did lots of distressing on the edges and actually did some sewing on this one.   That is something you seldom see me do these days but I want to begin doing more as I moved my sewing machine into my craft room.

I love the way these flowers turned out and the Spellbinders dies just add to the finished look of the card.  This sentiment is one of my favorites and says it all I think.  Did you notice, I turned the designer paper so it is going in two different directions.  The bottom layer is going from side to side and the top layer under the flowers is going up and down.  I just wanted to add a little bit of interest there.   These flowers and the sentiment are some of my favorite Heartfelt Creations products!
