We have come to another Friday and everyone is anticipating the weekend and I'm here once again to share another card I have made. I have been able to slow up a bit with the outside work as we are hot and dry here now. We really could use a little rain. The last few afternoons have been rumbling with thunder but no rain.
My card is 6" X 6" and I used my Prima Fairy Belle paper collection as the background on this card. I've been hoarding it for some time and decided to pull it out and play with it. I made my flowers and glittered the edges and the stamen for a little bit of elegance. My bow is a piece of seam binding scrunched and sprayed with water and then left to dry. I used a Heartfelt Creations sentiment and then the leaves are cut out using a Heartfelt Creations die. I colored flowers and leaves with Ranger Distress Inks. Then I took the stamen, painted them with glue and rolled them in glitter and then laid them aside to dry. Just some more shine for an old lady that loves glitter! And last and least, did you notice that little butterfly? I stamped and fussy cut it a week or so ago for another project and never used her, so she is fluttering along on this card.
Now on to the weekend! Have a great one!

This is amazingly beautiful. The sentiment hit straight to my heart-because my best friend did the most wonderful thing for me yesterday and I have been planning something for her to express my gratitude. Your flowers are absolutely yummy! Beautiful work as always Glenda.

Oh, be still my heart! Those glittering blue flowers are absolute perfection, Glenda! The background paper is YUMMY and your sweet little butterfly is a wonderful addition. That bow looks like it was tied by the angels...yes...I love every scrumptious detail in this amazing card!
Glenda, I was looking at your WOYWW post first (from Bloglovin) and wondering what you were going to do with those pretty flowers. You have such a fascinating little workshop there. So I had to come see the fascinating creation that came from you fascinating workshop. Gorgeous, of course! Love the tiny butterfly, too. Such detail! When I retire I want to make flowers like you!
Beautiful card - I love the colours in that Prima range, and the flowers are coloured to match perfectly. I've never added stamens to flowers before but I can see now what a wonderful finishing touch they make, especially with the glitter treatment.
I hope you get some rain soon, just the right amount :)
This card is gorgeous Glenda! I'm like you with papers I love, I hoard them . . . LOL! I love the glitter, so sparkly and fun, yet elegant as well. And your butterfly is so adorable, I absolutely love insects on designs for a touch of whimsy.
