Magnolia Blossom Card....
Good morning everyone! Happy Friday! I'm so tired from all the chores, I would just love to sleep the day away. But duty calls and I must answer. I want to share another card. Don't you just love Magnolia blossoms? I think they are so elegant and we actually have a Magnolia tree in our yard. But if you pick the blossoms, they immediately start turning brown and ugly. I haven't been able to use them with other flowers and that makes me sad. I colored the image using Ranger Distress inks and a water brush. I have never caught on to Copics and actually sold all my markers earlier this year. They were just lying here collecting dust, as I always color with the inks. The sentiment is set onto a Spellbinders labels die and it happens to be from Heartfelt Creations. A pretty piece of background paper some colorful card stock, a little ribbon and I call it finished!
Enjoy your day and thanks so much for dropping by. I always love hearing your comments, so be sure and let me know how you like the card.
That's it for me this morning...remember to "Breathe"!

Glenda this is so pretty, Love the Magnolias and wish they would last longer in the spring. You really capture the colors.
Gorgeous card, Glenda! I love the DP and the beautiful magnolia! Wonderful coloring!
Yes, I agree, magnolias are such a beautiful flower. Your card is gorgeous Glenda. You asked if I like the Distress Markers -- I love them. It is so much easier than using the reinkers with the same results.
A lot is to be said for enjoying the beauty of the tree. Your Magnolia card is just beautiful!
Oh this turned out just Beautiful! So real looking, you captured the shading just perfect... My Mom has one in her yard too and it's just started to bloom... We took part of the branch with a few leaves with it and it did stay better, but your right it's not long before there gone....
Again, Your card is just Lovely!!!!
This is absolutely gorgeous! I'm considering getting rid of my copic's too! I do so much better with pencils!
That's a beautiful bloom, beautifully colored, and with a perfect presentation on your card. I love the sentiment, too. Boy, have I got a lot of catching up to do!
What a beautiful card, Glenda, I love your magnolias. It has been a long day and I am just getting around to blogging! Have a wonderful Saturday! Wishing you the best.
Glenda, wow when I first looked at your card I thought it was a sticker. Great job coloring. Beautiful card.
Aahhh the magnolia from the WOYWW post! Pretty! So happy to hear someone else sold their Copics! I have mine up sale as I also prefer coloring with the inks or H2O's.
OH! This turned out lovely! The blue is a wonderful accent color to the soft browns/cream
Great finished card.
This is beautiful and I love your shading. I don't own Copics and I have not been very creative at all lately. I think I need a refresher course on using watercolors on large areas! I love viewing your blog. Thanks for sharing your creations with us.
