The Sisterhood of Crafters
This is my second post this morning but I just had to pop back in and tell you my exciting news! I have made the design team for the Sisterhood of Crafters! I'm so very happy about this and cannot wait to get to know everyone on the team! From what I can see there is a lot of talent on this team and I'm very happy to be allowed to play with these ladies! So follow the link and check out their blog! Also follow along as I post twice a month with them. It is always a fun challenge and maybe you can play too!

Good morning everyone! We are at another middle of the week and I'm here to show off my digs again for Julia's World Wide Blog Hop called What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday #304! Go and visit Julia and she has all the lovely details then take a picture of your desk and come join us!
First off I received my new We R Memory Keepers 1-2-3 punch board. As you can see it makes envelopes, bows and boxes! All in one and no muss, no fuss! It also has a score line for making the card envelopes which have dimension so you can mail a embellished card! Everything in one little board, how wonderful! I also purchased a Banner punch board that allows you to cut all kinds of banners quickly and efficiently...lickity split! These were purchased from the Home Shopping network here in the states and I'm so thrilled to have these! I will show you the Banner Board next week. Also this morning I'm giving you a quick look at a mini album I'm working on. I made this from scratch from instructions from
Shellie Geigle. She has a list of video's down the side of her blog and she is a fantastic teacher! Anyway I'm not showing the inside of this one cause I'm learning and I'm a bit self conscious about it. I am hoping to do better with the next one!
OK, this does it for me! I'm going now to visit as many of you as I can this morning. Then it's outdoors for me....I've begun the digging in the dirt!

Just another little box...I have been making them right and left and I allowed Heartfelt Creations to take control of this one for sure. I covered the box in paper from the Birds and Blooms collection and fussy cut out those sweet little birds and popped them onto the front of the box. I made flowers using the Botanical Rose stamps and cut them out with the Botanical Wings die. So quick and easy and I embossed the flower petals and the leaves with white embossing powder. This little box just screams Spring to me!

Come Fly With Me.... Challenge at the Sisterhood of Crafters.....
Good morning everyone and welcome to my blog this morning. I'm here this morning to share a card I made to enter the challenge at the Sisterhood of Crafters. They have a design team call going on there and today is the last day to add your name to their list. I decided I would try out for this team as I am looking for a team where I only have to make two projects a month. Summer is coming and it gets a little crazy at my house with all the yard and garden work this time of year. So, if I should make the team, it would be a perfect fit for me.
Keep your fingers crossed for me!
First off I apologize for the photo...it seems to be a little off balance, but then again I'm sort of off balance this morning. We sort of go together. I am continuing to try and use up some of my hoard and when I pulled out this paper it said 2011. How's that for getting a little age on it? I decided it was time to cut into it and so here it is doing the heavy lifting on my card. It is a Bo-Bunny paper called Gabrielle from 2011. I just love the pretty shades of green and peach and muted browns. I fussy cut a little butterfly to put over the one printed on the paper and used a bit of glitter on the flowers and leaves, as well as the body of the little butterfly. This is a quick and easy card with no razzle dazzle but I think it is quite elegant.
OK, that does it for me this morning. I have some blogs to visit this morning so I'm off to do that. It's raining here and the temperature is dropping...winter is trying to rear it's ugly head again. There are pear trees in bloom and I'm hoping it doesn't get below freezing. I noticed yesterday my red bud trees are blooming and the maple trees are leafing out. Also my dogwood trees are showing little green flowers. They should be in full bloom by Easter in all their glory! I just love Spring!

WOYWW #303
Good morning and welcome to What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday #303! If you are wondering what this is just head over to Julia's blog and she has all the specifics listed there for all to see. Go check it out and then come join us!
As you can see, there isn't much going on here this morning. I actually did some cleaning a day or so ago so it has some clean spots! Yes, I'm still working on some boxes. This is number 19 and I promised 20 so I'm getting close. I just need to add some flowers and greenery and it will be ready. Happy dance!
Also working on Easter cards...this is sitting on it's side a bit...sorry! I used Graphic 45 Sweet Sentiments papers to decorate and then a pretty yellow bow to finish it off!
Well this does it for me this morning. I'm off to visit as many of the desks as I can! Have a good day!

WOYWW #302
Good morning everyone! Come on in and let's have a good visit this morning. We are smack dab in the middle of the week and we deserve a breather! We have been experiencing glorious weather here in the south the last couple of days and I have been outside playing in the dirt!
This morning I'm showing you my desk top and my little mess of creativity. If you are wondering about this, head over to Julia's Blog and have a look around. She has all the rules and regulations listed there. Then come join us, we would love to look over your shoulder and see what you have going on!
Yes, I'm making flowers once again. I left them lying about unfinished because the sun was out and weeds were growing already. I spent two days outside trimming roses and cleaning out a flower bed. Now back to finish these flowers. I have a place all picked out for them so I must finish. The next photo is just a closer view of them. I used Tim Holtz Tattered Florals Die to cut out the petals.
Well that is all for me this morning...I must go see how many blogs I can visit this morning. Have a wonderful rest of the week!
