WOYWW #302

Good morning everyone!  Come on in and let's have a good visit this morning. We are smack dab in the middle of the week and we deserve a breather!  We have been experiencing glorious weather here in the south the last couple of days and I have been outside playing in the dirt!

This morning I'm showing you my desk top and my little mess of creativity.  If you are wondering about this, head over to Julia's Blog and have a look around. She has all the rules and regulations listed there.  Then come join us, we would love to look over your shoulder and see what you have going on!

Yes, I'm making flowers once again.  I left them lying about unfinished because the sun was out and weeds were growing already.  I spent two days outside trimming roses and cleaning out a flower bed.  Now back to finish these flowers. I have a place all picked out for them so I must finish.  The next photo is just a closer view of them.  I used Tim Holtz Tattered Florals Die to cut out the petals.

Well that is all for me this morning...I must go see how many blogs I can visit this morning.  Have a wonderful rest of the week!

Oh so pretty...love the colors. You are a true "Flower" designer ! I saw a map that snow was coming your way?
We need rain...under a burn ban, 70's have left this week dealing with 50's Rain would give us green grass and flower blooms. I'm so ready. Enjoy the week, hope you have time to create.

Wow! Beautiful work there, Glenda. You have been busy in lots of different ways, too. Haven't managed to get out into the garden yet this spring - but I must get there soon. Everything is starting to come up - including the weeds!
One of these fine days - you know the one - when I have nothing else to do!! - I may even get back to entering the craft hoarders challenge!! Not been able to do that for far too long.
Thanks for visiting already and for your comment.
Take care. God bless.

It's really something how you can take a flat pice of white paper and turn it into something so Beautiful!!! And the color is a WOW too, I want to touch them....
Good luck with the weeds.... we got everything cut back here a few weeks back and have been working on the weeds too... and going fishing when we can. Here in Fl the weather has been very nice, HOT during the day and cool at night.... How did we ever have time to work, I just dont know how we did it.
I know you love working in the yard too, hope the weather is on your side!

PS I'm thinking of our fellow desk hopper Shoshi today who's operation has been postponed yet again! I can't imagine how she must be feeling.

Last year I moved from a house with a garden to an appartment with only a small balcony… this time of year I read on several blogs that people are working in their garden. I really miss that now that Spring is around the corner. I miss filling my pots with all kinds of flowers… instead, I sewed some herbs in small pots to have at least some green on the balcony (and hopefully in my food, when it all grows well…) Maybe I should make me some 'inside flowers' like you have on your desk... Happy woyww and a big hug from Holland, Marit #45

those blooms look fabulous :) (and our ground never froze this year so there has been no shortage of weeds) ~Stacy #59

What lovely flowers, Glenda. I love making flowers, too. Thank you for your lovely comment, your kind words and continuing prayers. I am feeling less frustrated now, about the second postponement in my surgery - it simply can't be helped and we've just got to be patient. I am hoping to hear something by the end of this week, and ideally I would like to be in next week, but we shall have to see - I can't imagine my surgeon allowing me to hang on longer than necessary now, since he's put me off twice! We've also got to get this cancer out asap.

Happy WOYWW,

Love your flowers! We did get out in our garden at our caravan last weekend - just tidying up and deadheading the hydrangeas but it looks so much better! Chrisx 47

Gorgeous purple flowers! I can't wait to see what you put them on! I've been outside in the garden, too, but there's never enough time. Soon, though... well, you know what I'm talking about -- retirement!

Oh My Goodness ... these flowers are such a beautiful color! I can't wait to see the finished product! I like those little 'bead thingies' on your table ... where did you find them? Wedding section of craft store? I can see I need to get some for my wedding creations.
Our weather here in Ohio is JUST STARTING to warm up although it didn't take but one day of 60 degrees to have all my spring bulbs pop out of the ground. Let the outside games (and work) begin! I just love Spring and early Summer when everything comes back to life outside. Have fun with all your inside AND OUTSIDE flowers!
Hugs my friend!

It makes me laugh that you had to stop with your flowers to deal with the weeds. Ha! I think your flowers are more my speed. . .I couldn't kill them. And, they're beautiful!
