Good Friday morning my friends and welcome. I've been missing for a bit but I've been putting Christmas away...what can I say...I'm slow. I'm here this morning to play along in the Double D Challenge and to wish them a very Happy Birthday! Below is a copy of their mood board for the challenge.
I used a new embossing folder from Simon Says Stamp called Fresh Daisies. As I love daisies you will be seeing a lot of this little beauty. I embossed a piece of bronze cardstock and used white ink to rub over the image. The photo doesn't do it justice. Now I just need to decide where to send this one. I have a few birthdays coming up for family.

Wow, Glenda, what a beautiful folder! I never would have thought to brush white ink over metallic, but I love it! I will look forward to more with this folder. Hey, I'm slow, too. Still have all the Christmas cards I received on display. They're too pretty to put away! I'm glad to see your card in our Double D gallery. Happy new year!
What an attractive card with embossing and the white ink. It is very classy and stunning. The Christmas cards that I receive are part of my Christmas decorations. I love every one of them. So glad that you linked up with us at Double D Challenge.
Oh Glenda this is down right GORGEOUS!!!!! I know what you mean about just getting Christmas put away! We celebrate the 12 Days of Christmas which meant my decorations didn't come down until last weekend. Plus I had a demo crew coming this past Wednesday (tearing out the main bathroom and doing a complete redo) so I had to make LOTS of trips down the steps to get all the xmas put away before that mess started!
BUT ... glad you got it done for another year and found time to join in our Birthday challenge! Thanks so much for joining in the fun! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.
