Inspiration Wednesday with Heartfelt Creations...

Good morning sweet friends and welcome.  I'm continuing to play with the lovely Iris Garden Collection from Heartfelt Creations and I'm loving it! You can find this week's card in the gallery here. All the details are listed there.

My Iris flowers are beginning to bloom in my garden right now so I have been really enjoying this collection.

My finished card size is 5 1/4" X 7 1/4".  Make card base using Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper.  It is a perfect weight for card making!  Next cut a piece of Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper 5" X 7" and glue to card front.  Cut a piece of Sheet 5A to cover this piece and glue it down.

Die Cut the Fancy Classic Oval Frame out of white cardstock and using a hydra sponge and Designer Dries Clear Adhesive add Crystal Clear glitter and allow to dry.  Once it is dry, center on the card front and glue down.

Cut a piece of white seam binding, spritz with water and scrunch then allow to dry.  Once it is dry, tie a bow and set aside to go on the card later.

Stamp the flower petals using Cactus Flower and cut out with coordinating dies.  Edge the blooms with more Cactus Flower, lay onto the mold, spritz with water and run through a die cut machine.  Turn out on the desk to dry.  Add the yellow pollen to the flower petals and allow to dry. Once dry punch a hole in the center of the petals and thread through the stamen and use hot glue to hold together.  Glue to the EZ Stem Floral wire and allow to dry.

Stamp the leaves in Leaf Green and cut out with coordinating dies.  Color with more Leaf Green ink and edge with Olive ink.  Lay onto the mold, spritz with water and run through the die cut machine then turn out onto the desk to dry. Once they are dry hot glue to the EZ Stem Floral Wire holding the blooms allowing the leaves to hide the wires.

Once everything is dry arrange on the card front and hot glue in place.  Use a Hydra Sponge and Dries Clear Adhesive to add Crystal Clear Glitter to the blooms.

Hot glue the bow to the flower stems and allow to dry and the card is finished!

You amaze me again and again, Glenda! These irises look hand picked and set on top of your card. You blow me away. Our earliest azalea and cherry tree are not even in bloom yet. We're having a very wet and late spring. Lots of green, though. Your gorgeous card is a sight for sore eyes!
