The Four Seasons Challenge - Spring Anything Goes!

Good morning friends and welcome to The Four Seasons Challenge for April, 2022.  As always anything goes and this is the second challenge for Spring!  So gather your supplies think Tulips, Bunny Rabbits, Easter and Spring Showers.  You can post your project here:  The Four Seasons Challenge Blog.  The challenge runs from 12:00 AM (EST) on April 1 until 12:00 AM (est) on April 25.  The winner will be announced on April 28.

We have an Mood board for April but this is just to help give you some ideas for the season.  Remember anything goes!

The umbrellas were what inspired me from this board and I remembered I had this die and I used it to cut out an umbrella from the Lush Lilac Paper Collection.  My card is 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" and features The Lush Lilac Collection from Heartfelt Creations.  I made Lilac blooms and used the green Prills for the centers and then glued them here and there on the card front.  Tie a bow using white ribbon and to finish everything off use some glitter.  I love glitter and even my little Yorkie girls wear glitter on their little faces.

My grandmother had a huge Lilac Bush and it was the only flower in her garden we were allowed to pick.  When it bloomed in the Spring the blooms were abundant and the scent could be smelled all over her garden.  Our home had a bouquet in every room and it was heavenly! So you can imagine the memories this flower brings forth for me!

Come join us for this wonderful Spring Anything Goes Challenge.  You can see what the design team has created by visiting the Four Seasons Challenge Blog. Come join us and play along.  I would love to see what you create!

Supplies:  Heartfelt Creations Lush Lilac Collection, HCD1-7201 Tickets and Tags Die, Rajni Chawla's Crystal Clear Glitter, Lettuce Entertain You Prills for the flower centers, White Ribbon, Designer Dries Clear Adhesive

WOW, this is stunning, I can almost smell them, a very beautifully designed card! I love lilacs and mine are all budded but am worried I will have another year without them as the weather has been brutal right after they budded, the same with all my Spring flowers, it's snowing as I type this, sigh!!

It really is a stunning card. I do wish we could grow lilacs. What a wonderful memory to have of your Grandmother's. [Bunny]

OH Glenda, you have outdone yourself on this beautiful creation! Of course I love all the purple (my favorite) and your sweet flowers are just precious!
My grandmother too had mature lilac bushes that were almost overwhelmingly sweet in the spring ... but I love just standing in her gardens and breathing in the sweet smells!
Thanks for beautiful inspiration my friend and so happy you're doing well enough to be back to creating! HUGS

Oh, how pretty! Your card is so wonderfully inspired by the board and your grandmother's garden. You can't beat the heady scent of lilacs in the sunshine.

Your card is a true beauty! It appeals to me as it reminds me of the wonderful lilacs that grew in my grandparents' yard, and I love the soft shade of those fragrant blooms, too. What a lovely creation!
