Inspiration Wednesday with Heartfelt Creations...

Good Wednesday Morning everyone and welcome to Inspiration Wednesday with Heartfelt Creations.  This morning I have two projects to share with you so bear with me, this will be a long post.

Ranger Archival Ink Pad - Vivid ChartreuseRACP531
Ranger Archival Ink Pad - Red GeraniumRACP993
Power Outage PrillsANC845
Ribbit PrillsANC825

Other Products: White Cardstock, White Seam Binding, Hot Glue Gun

For more tips on creating with the tags & sentiments, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/eAfLuNkRda4.

Instructions: Using the Album Tag Die, die cut two tags from white cardstock. Die cut the Swirly Accent Spray Die out of white cardstock. Glue the Swirly Accent Die cut between the two tag die cuts. This makes the base tag good and sturdy. Pick a piece of the paper collection and die cut it to fit the front of the tag. Using a sponge and Designer Dries Clear Adhesive add glitter to the Swirly Accent die cut. Set aside to dry.

Stamp the flowers onto the Deluxe Flower Shaping paper using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Using the coordinating die, cut out the petals. Use Red Geranium ink and the daubers to color. Spritz the petals with water and use the Flower Shaping Kit to shape. I also hand pleated the ends of the petals and set them aside to dry. When dry, glue two petals the same size together, staggering so the flower looks full. Let this dry. Now is the time to spread out the petals. I added a ring of Power Outage Prills and allowed this to dry. I went back in and added the Ribbit Prills to the very center of the flowers. This gives the flowers a bit more interest. Allow this to dry. I used a sponge with glue on the tip and dabbed this onto the flower petals then sprinkle the Crystal Clear over the flowers. Allow this to dry.

Stamp the leaves with Archival Fern Green ink and color using Memento Bamboo Leaves. I went back with the Fern Green to add a bit more color to the edges.

I picked a ticket from the paper collection and die cut it. I added Double Dots to the back of it and glued it to the front of the tag.

Wet a length of the seam binding and color with Memento Bamboo Leaves ink. Scrunch it and allow to dry. Tie a bow and use hot glue to adhere to the front of the tag.

Decide where you want the flowers and leaves and using hot glue, adhere to the tag front. Your tag is finished and becomes a gift on its own.

Snowy Cardinals......

Good morning friends.  I hope you are staying well.  I'm still self isolating and beginning to wonder where this will end.  I go out only for groceries and prescriptions and I can get curb service on both of those.  It's a good thing I can entertain myself!  So I've been thinking about my Christmas cards and need to get a bit more motivated for them.  This makes the fourth card so far and I realize I have a ways to go so don't judge me!

Of course I chose Heartfelt Creations Snowy Pines Collection and I basically let the dies and the paper collection do the heavy lifting on this one.  And it will mail with a regular postage stamp and thats a very good thing!  The die I chose is HCD2-7308 Majestic Swirl Frames die.  I cut out the cardinals from the paper collection.  I just added some glitter and called it finished! Heartfelt Creations makes it so easy to be creative!

Inspiration Wednesday with Heartfelt Creations...

Good morning friends.  I hope you are staying well.  I'm here this morning to share another card using the new Festive Winterscapes Collection.

Other Products:  Brilliance Ink - Coffee Bean, White and Blue Cardstock, Die Cut Machine, Gold Embossing Powder, Embossing Ink, Heat Gun

For more tips on creating with the Festive Winterscapes Collection watch the tutorial at:  https://youtu.be/3K3j7I16JBI.

Instructions: My finished card size is 5” x 7”. Using white cardstock make card base. Cover with a piece of the paper collection. Using white and blue cardstock die cut the Regal Elegance Frames and glue together on the front of the card.

Stamp the camels, the first wiseman, palm trees and camels with embossing ink and sprinkle with embossing powder. Using a heat gun emboss the gold. Now stamp all the images with the Brilliance Ink and cut all the images out using coordinating dies. I shaded with black Memento ink and colored the windows with cantaloupe ink and the Dove Blending Pen. Layer the gold embossed images behind the other images so it looks like there is golden light shining down on the images. Decide on the placement of all the die cut images and glue them down.

Add glitter to the stars in the background to make them sparkle. Allow everything to dry and the card is finished!

Other Products: Art Extra Snowflake Paste, Blue Cardstock, White Cardstock, Silver Cardstock, Die Cut Machine

For more tips on creating with the Festive Winterscapes Collection watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/3K3j7I16JBI.

Instructions: My finished card is 6” x 6”. Cut a piece of the watercolor paper 6” x 12” and score at 6”. Cover the card front with a piece of the paper collection. Using a piece of the silver cardstock and the Festive Snowglobe die cut the shape using the die cut machine. I cut another Snowglobe using blue cardstock just to give it a bit of stability. Using the clear cardstock cut two of the Snowglobes and lay aside. Now begin to glue the shapes together with the last layer being one of the clear shapes. Lay the layered shape and the extra clear shape aside for a bit later.

Stamp the carolers, truck, snowman, wreath and the light post using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Stamp the tall trees, the bakery and the fence with Memento Rich Cocoa. Stamp the pine tree with Memento Northern Pines Ink. Use various Memento Ink Pads and the Dove Blender pen to color the images. Once you have everything colored to your liking add bits of snow to the images and set aside to dry.

Once everything is dry, it is time to assemble the card. Decide on the placement of your elements on the card front and glue them down. Add foam strips all around the Snowglobe and across the bottom so that when it is laid on the card front it will be even. I then put in the glitter and Prills and added the last piece of clear cardstock. Lay the Snowglobe onto the card front and glue it down.

Glue the trees to the sides of the Snowglobe and I used Double Dots behind the pine tree. Glue down the snowman beside the pine tree. Glue the wreath to the fence section and glue down the truck and fence to the bottom section of the snowglobe. The card is finished.

Another Inspiration Wednesday with Heartfelt Creations....

Good morning my friends.  I hope you are all staying well.  As for me and my fur babies, we are all good and hanging in there.

I'm here this morning to share another Heartfelt Creations card I have made using their wonderful products! This week I chose the Tea Time Collection to use in the making of my creation.

Other Products: London Fog Memento Die Ink Pad, Dandelion Memento Die Ink Pad, White Cardstock, Blue Cardstock, Cotton Balls, Dimensional Board, Hot Glue Gun, Die Cut Machine, Distress Ink in Worn Lipstick Seedless Preserves and Faded Jeans

For more tips on creating with the Tea Time Collection watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/4bjPeZW_oT8.

For more tips on creating with the Cottage Garden Collection watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/faBoB2s49RI.

Instructions: My finished card is 5” x 7”. Cut a piece of cardstock 7” x 10” and score at 5”. Fold and this makes the card base. Cut a piece of blue cardstock 4 7/8” x 6 7/8” and glue to card front. Die cut the Intricate Swirl Frame out of a piece of the paper collection and glue down to the front. Next I measured the center of the frame and cut a piece of blue cardstock sized 3 1/4” x 5 1/4” then I glued it down.

Fold a piece 5 1/2" x 14” of cardstock so it measures 5 1/2” x 7”. Using gray ink stamp the teapot onto the cardstock. Place the teapot die onto the cardstock so that part of the top is above the fold. Run this through the die cut machine which makes the base of the shaped teapot part of the card. Stamp the teapot again onto another piece of white cardstock and cut it out. This piece fits over the piece that has part of the top cut off. This makes the card look finished.

Now that the shaped card is ready to go use the Dove blending pen and various Memento Ink colors to color the teapot. Using gray ink stamp the flowers and other elements as well as the leaves and cut them out using the coordinating dies and then use Dandelion, and Bamboo Leaves to color the flower petals and leaves. Run the leaves through the die cut machine with the mold to shape then set aside to dry. Use the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit to shape the flower petals and then add prills to the centers and set aside to dry. I used London Fog Memento Ink to color the spoon and Distress inks to color the bag of tea. Once everything is dry decide on placement and glue down. I added some dimensional board behind the sign and the bag of tea.

Now that it is finished, the teapot opens up as a card and the card base opens up as well so you have lots of real estate for writing a quick message.
