On My Desk This Morning....

Let me just say I have been up since 3 AM...it seems to have become my new norm so I guess I just need to start my day early now.  I think this is what happens when you get old...you either sleep until 9AM or you wake at 3AM.  Either way, I'm not a fan.  My latest time to wake has been 6 and I felt like I had missed half of the day so this may all be my fault in some strange way.  Anyway, I took the time to finish a card I have been working with.  I used Heartfelt Creations products (what else is new) and this is what is on my desk this morning....

My card is featuring the Heartfelt Creations Wild Rose flower stamps, dies and mold!  The background diecut is the Stairway Gardens from Heartfelt Creations as well!  Do you know why I purchased this 6 X 6 square die?  It was for the pretty scallop around the edges but oh my goodness was I asleep at the wheel!  I have found a beautiful diecut that I adore behind flowers on a card front!  It just goes to show you, you never know until you get it into your hands.

That's it for me this morning...I'm off for my second cup of coffee and to think about really starting my day!  The little birds outside my window have been singing since 5:30 AM!  I love to hear them.  Have a lovely weekend!

Good heavens, this is gorgeous! Those birds outside your window wouldn't know the difference between these and real flowers! Gosh, there are many times I can't get to sleep till 3 am or later, and one time I was awake till 5 am so I just went ahead and got up, but never do I go to bed early enough to get up at 3 am! 7 am seems to be my time. Hugs!

WOW I wish I could complete something this beautiful when I can't sleep and get up 'in the middle of the night!' LOL This is gorgeous. Yes I think it's an 'age' thing! I never was a late sleeper but seems my waking time now is between 5:30 & 6. I try to make myself stay in bed until at least 6 then head right for the shower. My mother rarely got more then 6 hours of nightly sleep (as she used to tell me) ... but I don't think she was counting the naps she got in while watching TV in the evenings LOL. Hugs & Health to you my friend and keep up the awesome design work ... you inspire me!
