Announcing the new Burst of Spring Collection From Heartfelt Creations....

Let's face it friends, we are all just a bit tired of winter and all the cold and snow and brown and mud so let's celebrate the highly anticipated arrival of the upcoming spring season with the new Burst of Spring Collection from Heartfelt Creations! A favorite among flower enthusiasts, the delicate pansy flower is often one of the first florets to be added to the freshly worked soil as the glorious garden season arrives. The soft, velvety petals of these cheerful blossoms always invite a quick caress while being transplanted near the front of the garden bed, where they are sure to be admired by all! Awaken your senses dulled from the winter season with an enchanting and deeply hued decorative paper collection filled with sweet and amiable pansy flowers, along with whimsical fluttering butterflies! Beautiful blues, happy yellows and deep purples set the tone for charming pansy clusters and bouquets encompassed in finely illustrated details from lace like accents to intricate brocades! A wonderful compilation of beautifully detailed cling stamp sets and coordinating dies bring an assortment of sprightly pansy floral sprays, perky arrangements, as well as elegant pansy frames, perfect for adding a cheerful springtime feel to all of your handmade greeting cards, layouts and altered art pieces. The coordinating pansy flower stamp, die, and flower shaping mold come together to create several differing sized pansy flowers ideal for creating your very own dimensional pansy bouquets as realistic as those found in the flower bed! So, join together with us in craft rooms everywhere…before the frost is out of the ground and gardening season arrives…as we anticipate and create our very own version of the appearance of spring with the Burst of Spring Collection!

Instructions: My tag size is 4 x 6". Using the Album Tags and Accents Dies, cut out two of the larger tags from black cardstock. Glue these together. It makes for a very sturdy tag and it will stand up to adding a lot of weight and it will be harder to damage the tag in transit. Now cut out a smaller die from this set using the paper collection and glue it to the base tag. I punched a hole in the top of the tag and threaded a piece of purple ribbon through. Next, I cut out the medallion using white cardstock and then I also cut out the shadow piece using purple cardstock. Glue these two pieces together and set aside.
Now let's work on the flowers. Using Deep Purple Archival ink and Lulu Lavender Memento ink, stamp the flower petals onto white cardstock. Stamp the leaves using the Olive Green Stazon ink. Color using different ink colors to suit your taste. Using the coordinating die, cut out the petals and leaves and place them onto the3D Shaping Mold and spritz with water then run through the Vagabond machine. Lay out to dry. Once dry, add Prills to the centers and glitter and again, allow to dry.
Stamp the Pansy Spray using Jet Black Archival Ink and color in with the daubers and the Dove Blender Pen. Add the flowers to the spray and then using dimensional tape, adhere to the medallion. Glue the medallion onto the bottom of the tag creating a pocket.
Find one of the tags on the paper collection and cut out using the Ticket and Tags Die. Punch a hole in the tag and thread some of the purple ribbon through the small tag. Stamp the sentiment onto the tag and then place it into the pocket.
My Second project for this morning is a card:

Other Products: White Cardstock, Purple Cardstock, Dimensional Tape
For more tips on creating with the Burst of Spring collection, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/_8WJPTKIUlQ.
Instructions: My card size is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2". Make card base and cover with a piece of the purple cardstock. Choose a coordinating piece of the paper collection and layer a piece on top of the purple cardstock. Set aside and let's work on the flowers.
Stamp the floral image using Jet Black Archival Ink onto white cardstock and color using various inks and the Dove Blender Pen as well as the Stack and Store Daubers. Layer molded leaves over the image and glue down. Add the flowers to the image and add dimensional Tape to the back Set aside while you prepare the base for the medallion.
Die cut the Medallion from a piece of the paper collection. Find another piece of coordinating paper and cut out the layering piece. Glue them together. Add dimensional tape to the back and adhere to the card front. Next adhere the floral piece to the medallion and your card is ready to go.
