Good morning friends and welcome to a cold and snowy East Tennessee morning! The temps have dipped to 16 with a wind chill of 7 this morning and we have about an inch of snow on the ground here. We don't receive a lot of snow in these parts anymore so an inch or two brings on great excitement but the big news here is the cold! We have had some moderating temps up until now and a lot of my friends have reported that early Spring bulbs were beginning to sprout. I'm sure they will be late in blooming now because of the cold on the tender plants. So I have some tulips to share with you that the cold won't hurt. They are displayed against the new Lacy Diamond Dies from Heartfelt Creations and I feel like these dies are the perfect backdrop for a lovely bunch of flowers! They have gone the extra mile with these dies and I can see these being displayed on my cards for a long time! Can you tell I just love them?
Also if you visit the Heartfelt Creations site you will notice there is a Design Team Call going on now until Feb. 27. If you have an interest in this just follow this link and read all about it! Heartfelt Creations

Instructions: My card size is 5 x 7". Make card base and cover with a piece of the paper collection.
Using white cardstock cut out the base of the Lacy Diamond Die and glue down onto card front. Using the purple cardstock cut out the two pieces to make center of medallion and glue them together. Use dimensional tape to adhere to the card front.
Next stamp the tulips, leaves and fillers with Majestic Violet Archival Ink and cut out using the coordinating dies. Run the tulip petals through the Vagabond with the 3D Tulip Mold to shape. Use the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit to add more shape to the tulips. Lay aside to dry. Poke a hole in the center of the flowers and thread the stamens through; use hot glue to hold in place. Color the leaves with ink and create the medallion with flowers and leaves.
Add glitter to flowers, fillers and leaves and set aside to dry.

Wow, gorgeous design Glenda! I love your beautiful purple tulips set into the diamond aperture!
Good Morning, 2nd day of COLD, but really sunny and now no wind so it's a good day. Your card is so pretty. The new dies are both for making unique projects. Have a fun week I peeked about past blog posts too, can't believe how far behind I've been. Really beautiful posts and scrumptious flowers.
Beautiful card!!!
You're so right about the pretty die being a perfect backdrop for your flowers! This could be hung on a wall. In fact, it has the look of a wall accent with the pretty paper in the background. Looks like you have some very nice new things to play with while the snow is on the ground!
What a sweet purple posy in your perfect lacy diamond. X
Beautiful tulips in the center of your beautiful diamond!! Love it!
