Good morning everyone! It is Wednesday again and time for WOYWW. Now if you don't know what in the world I'm talking about, just head over to Julia's blog and have a look around. It is all explained there...but each Wednesday we take a picture of our desk and blog about it and link to Julia's blog. Then we can all visit each other and see what we have going on.
I've been pulling Christmas stamps from my bins and printing off some digital stamps to color. I'm thinking about the Christmas cards I need to make and some of the other projects I want to do as well. I have sort of gotten out of the habit of coloring with Ranger Distress Inks and a brush, so I will be doing some images for my cards and gift tags.
The little carolers are Mo Manning digital stamps I purchased last year. They are so cute and the distress inks work so well with them.
Well I want to keep this short and sweet; so I'm off to visit as many of your desks as possible. I never make it all the way around, but I keep trying. I hope your day is a good one and that it is filled with joy!

My final post for Heartfelt Creations......
Good morning everyone. This is my final post for Heartfelt Creations as I did not get selected to continue on the design team. This is going to be a time for me to heal as I have been struggling with lower back issues and there is a lot I want to do for myself as well. So this is bitter sweet for me. I will miss being on the design team but I really need to rejuvenate and get centered again. Sometimes we need to step back and breathe a little.
I'm not going anywhere and will continue to post here 2-3 times a week. The holidays are coming and I have a lot of projects sitting on back burners that I want to bring to the front. So take a good deep breathe and let's get started on this next part of my journey. I just know it is going to be wonderful!
Thanks again for all your support and it goes without saying I appreciate your being there for me!

Little Caroler
Those of you who know me, know I dearly love making tags. Here is my latest one...it's for Christmas.
I used a couple of Mo Manning images I purchased a couple of years ago, don't ask me when. I'm an old lady and I forget easily.
I printed the images onto two pieces of watercolor paper and then I cut out the tag using a Tim Holtz die. Next I colored both the images and fussy cut the little singer. Next I used distress ink to color the tag and then taped the little singer down where I wanted him. Next came a snowflake and lots of glitter. Then I colored seam binding using more distress inks.
I really love this tag and it will be tucked down into a gift bag this year at Christmas!
Well this does it for me today. I hope you have a great day and that you get to find a little time to do something you love!

Halloween Is Almost Upon Us.....
Good morning everyone! My grandson's are actually too old to Trick or Treat anymore, but they still expect their card with a few dollars tucked inside. Well of course what kid would not like a few dollars tucked inside anything. I just feel like it is a tradition that needs to be kept and so each year I still make Halloween cards. This year instead of dragging out the tired Halloween stamps I own, I decided to go online and I Googled "Free Halloween images" . Well I got some of the cutest images and proceeded to print them off and fussy cut and here is one of the cards I came up with these free images.
I just love the green on this. It is such good color for Halloween...it almost looks like it will glow in the dark. and I think the flying witch does resemble me!
Well this does it for me this morning. No matter where you are and no matter what you are doing, please take a moment just for you and "Breathe"!

What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday #229
Hello everyone and welcome to WOYWW #229! If you are wondering what this is all about, just go visit Julia's blog. Julia hosts this wonderful get together of like minded people (That is all of us crafty folks) and we post a picture and blog about the event. Usually we show a picture of our desk and what we are working on.
I have been working on some Halloween cards for my grandsons and this card uses all free stuff from the internet. I just printed and cut out and rounded up some orange, green and black card stock and a little green ribbon and it is ready to go. I lined the envelope with some green paper to sort of match the green on my card.
Well that does it for me this morning. I'm off to visit as many blogs as I can to see what everyone has going on. Have a great day and I hope you find time to do something you love!

A Birthday Explosion Box....
Today is my sister's birthday (The Enabler) and I have made an Explosion Box for her. Now these have been around for awhile and I've always loved them but this is a first for me. I am inspired by Selma Stevenson and Olga Jewell. Each of these ladies made and blogged about an explosion box and I just really fell in love with them. I sort of copied Selma's outside of the box and Olga really inspired the inside of my box. Let me just say that by the time I figured out what size I wanted my box to be and found the right dimensions I was well into my first day. Then there was using the Liquitex and letting it dry...choosing papers and matching flower colors that I wanted and of course there were so many flowers and it took quite awhile to make those. Suddenly I'm eating into the second day and realizing my bad back is going to make this quite difficult. Then I cut out the butterfly and had to figure out how to suspend him and found out I was not born with enough fingers! Once my box was finished, I confess I had to play with it a lot. I put it together and let it go over and over again. I'm quite impressed with the design, however, I'm thinking this may be one of a kind and my one and only!
In person, this was quite beautiful, if I do say so myself! Thank you Selma and Olga for inspiring me. This was one of the things I had been wanting to do and I knew I might have to have it on my desk for awhile so I decided while I was vacationing (resting) was the time to do it.
I hope you love this as much as I do...and Happy Birthday to my sister!
OK that does it for me this morning. Have a good day and enjoy the upcoming weekend! And I have been thinking I may just try this again now that I have an idea about what I am doing.
Supplies: Watercolor paper,
Heartfelt Creations Daphne Paper Collection
Spellbinders Foliage and Rose Creations, Wonderful Wings
Ranger Distress Ink
The Sentiment is also from Heartfelt Creations HCPC 3388 Spring Cardinals PreCut Set (I think it may be retired)
Green Cardstock, Cream Cardstock
Scor-Tape
Glue
Glitter
pearls

Welcome to Heartfelt Creations Wednesday.......
Good morning everyone and welcome to Heartfelt Creations Wednesday! I'm here this morning to share another project I did for Heartfelt Creations using the Sweet Juliet Collection.
Instructions: Card
Size 5” X 7”
Make card base using watercolor paper for stability, and cover with a piece of the pretty paper. Use Distress inks to shade around the edges of the card. Next cut out one of the labels and stamp the image on the center. (I used watercolor paper for this piece too.) Color the image and place piece back into the die and use distress ink to go around the edge of the center part of the die cut. Attach this piece to the card base. Next I cut out the flower petals and the leaves and colored them with distress inks. I used the brad to mount my flower and glued down the leaves and the flower. The card is finished.
I'm so glad you stopped by this morning. Now if you would like some more inspiration, just head over to the HC blog and have a look around. There is so much talent on display there today! Also, if you haven't voted for the new design team you should do that now. The voting ends on Friday. We are all on pins and needles waiting to see who the lucky people are. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Just Running Through.......
Good morning everyone! I hope you are well and ready to face the week.. I am beginning to feel like I need to wade in and get my fingers inky, but Miss MoJo is still on vacation so I'm just doing a very little bit of fun stuff here and there.
My card this morning is one we all need now and then and they can be the hardest to make. I try a keep a few on hand and I noticed I only had one in my card box. So I need a couple more.
My card is 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" and a good one for mailing. You know me, I always tend to just keep adding on until suddenly it just will not go in the mail without a lot of extra postage. I did the butterfly in Liquitex and while it was wet I added just a tiny bit of glitter, just trying to give it a little elegant touch, but nothing over the top. I hope I succeeded in keeping it sort of elegant. I used Heartfelt Creations HCPC 3377 Sympathy Sentiment PreCut Set and HCD 713 Lace Border Die and also used some Spellbinders dies as well.
Well that is it for me today. I hope you have a good day and that no matter where you are, or what you are doing you always have a little time just for you and "Breathe"!!

We are pleased to introduce the Sweet Juliet Collection. This collection is inspired by the beauty of ancient rooms locked away and laden with antique treasures. These rooms are filled with yellow candlelight and dusty vases. Crinkly letters lay scattered around, turning crisp and fading more every day. A postcard lays covered in thick dust, forgotten in a dark corner. Wildflowers lay around, as crisp and crinkled as the beautiful wallpapers. Using these detailed floral and typographical stamps, complemented by black, gold and burgundy papers will enable you to create an outstanding classical creation.
Leave a comment on the Heartfelt Creations blog by October 15th and you will be eligible to win the entire collection valued at $150.

A Little Vacation Time......
Good Saturday morning everyone! I hope you are all doing well out there. As for me I'm just sitting back and taking a deep breath. I really need to take some of my own advise and do a little down time. All of my projects are finished for Heartfelt Creations for the month of October and have gone off to them. Now comes the wait to see who is making the next design team for this wonderful company.
Normally I would be cranking out projects one after another and trying to showcase my finest work; however, I'm just really needing some vacation time and I feel like this is the best time to take it. We all need some time now and then to just step back and breathe! I will continue to post on Wednesday's this month but I will not do my Monday or Friday posts for awhile. I Hope to do a few things for my Christmas Holiday and I may show you some things here and there so please don't forsake me altogether! I will be in and out and saying hello but I just need to chill and not be under any deadlines.
Then if I make it back to the design team for Heartfelt Creations I will be recharged and ready to go. I'm keeping my fingers crossed during this time that you like my work and have voted for me. Heartfelt Creations is like family to me and when I'm working with their products I feel like I have come home!
Well this does it for me this morning. Thank you so much for being here for me and understanding that I need a little vacation. I want to rejuvenate and be ready for whatever comes my way.

Welcome to Heartfelt Creations Wednesday.....
Good morning everyone! It is my favorite day of the week... Wednesday! I get to share another project I have made for Heartfelt Creations.
This is one of my favorites. Heartfelt Creations has really made Christmas easy this year! I love the circles and the gorgeous papers for this collection. Now if you would like to get a list of products used and see the instructions, you can head over to the HC blog and have a look around. Well everyone that does it for me this morning. I'm going over to the HC blog and look around again. I spend a large part of my morning just looking at all the beauty! Oh yes, if you haven't voted for the new design team while you are at the blog, take a moment and get that done. We all depend on you to see that we get chosen to continue. Your vote matters. There is a place to vote for the semi-finalists and a place to vote for the continuing design team. Take a moment and vote in both places. Thank you in advance!
