WOYWW 145

Happy Wednesday everyone and welcome to WOYWW...What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday #145.  Each Wednesday some of us take a picture of our desk and link it to Julia's blog and then we visit each other and see what we have going on.  You get a quick look  at desks all over the world!  It's really a great idea and each and every Wednesday I try like crazy to make it around to all the desks but try as I might, I have only been able to do this once.  But I do love looking around!  You get all kinds of ideas and you get to see you are not the only dirty bird out there!

This week I have a little more clutter going on.  I'm in the middle of decorating eggs for Easter!  I'm even working on some real chicken eggs and they are so delicate to work with.  So I went digging in my stash for all kinds of goodies to go on top of these eggs!  Tiny flowers, ribbons, edgings then I got my glue gun out and went to work.  You can see one of the finished eggs in the back of the picture.  Every year I do an Easter basket for my husband and this year will he be suprised!  I'm hoping he will want to put these away and use them each year.  I would hate to think I have to do this again and again!

Well, that is all I have this morning.  Have a great day and no matter where you are or what you are doing, take a moment and "Breathe"!

Love your work desk picture this morning, Glenda! That egg is huge, you must get fresh eggs! So much fun to see all the pretties. Have a fun day!

Your chickens must be absolutely enormous, or they have very sore bottoms getting that lot out.
Beautiful how you have decorated it, love the colours and the pretty flowers.

There's something very cosy about your workdesk, but I can't really explain why. I'm in awe of people who are in sinc with the holidays and the seasons with their crafting. I never think of such things. ;-) (Okay, I did do christmas cards)

Beautiful painted egg, they must be so fragile to work with. That's a huge jar of flower stamens you've got! I'm loving the warm weather again, going to try tidying up the garden in the evenings this week.

Hi Glenda, your desk is just a pleasure to peep at and your decorated egg is beautiful - too beautiful to throw away once Easter is over so I'm sure your husband will keep it. Did you blow the egg out of the shell yourself - it's quite a fiddly sort of thing to do and I'm not sure I have the patience for that. Thanks for your earlier comment - sadly, I've had no time to stretch in my new room today - too busy blog hopping for WOYWW :) Tomorrow I will. Hope you are having a great Wednesday and that the week will be happily creative for you. Elizabeth x #11

Will now at first I though that was a jar of Q-tips...so I was looking close to see what you did with them. But after looking closer I saw it was the little white things you have sticking out from behind some of you flowers.... Lots of FUN happening here today, as aways I enjoyed me visit!!!

Lovely egg. It remeinded me of Easter in school when all my class used to decorate a hard-boiled egg. It was a real fun session - loads of glue, fabrics, feathers etc. I really miss all that side of teaching. Hope hubby loves your efforts - its fab.

Such a lovely egg!

I must say that I am hitting and missing desks this week, but have to visit you for sure as Glenda was almost my name as my dad's name was Glen. I think I like Glenda better than Wanda though. lol
