Where did this week go?

It almost seems like one day it was Monday and I had a whole week facing me with lots of Springtime chores and then suddenly I wake up and it's Friday and seems like nothing happened this week.  I promise I've been busy, but there has not been much to show for all my working.  Sometimes you do things that will not show up just yet, like feeding plants and clearing away dead growth on other plants and it won't really make a showing until later.  I've done a lot of those things these past two weeks, and now my roses are budded and ready to bloom and I have  Iris up and looking like they might bloom soon and my peony is beginning to sprout out of the ground too.  So some of my labors are beginning to show here and there.   The weather forcast for our area for the first week of April is for a major cool down.  I do hope we don't get a frost.  That could really hurt all these plants and trees that are blooming.  Our Apple trees look like huge white bouquets and our dogwood trees are blooming!

So this morning I decided to settle down for a little while and post this card I made for Heartfelt Creations.

I just love birch trees and this image just makes me smile.  I think it made a really pretty card and it was so simple to do.  If you have an interest in the products used and the instructions for making this card, just go to the Heartfelt Creations blog .  While you are there take a little time and look around.  I have another project listed there as well as all the creations for the rest of the design team.  You will find lots of motivation and inspiration there.

Well I've been sitting here long enough this morning.  I have some more chores to do today and then I can come back inside and play for awhile.  I do like my play time!

Thanks for stopping by this morning and no matter what you get into today and no matter where you find yourself, take a moment just for you and Breathe!

Good Morning Glenda, Your card is beautiful and it could be the view from my craftroom really. Once the leaves come on I will send you a picture as its beautiful and usually full of little blue tits twittering away. Funnily enough we have it much cooler to-day as well and a little bit windier too. Off to do some food shopping this morning and hopefully make a card this afternoon. Enjoy your week-end. Hugs Rita xxx

Glenda, this is beautiful....very simple but oh so elegant. Like you, I'm hoping we don't get any cold weather now that everything is blooming so beautifully. We planted some green beans last week in the garden and set out some tomato plants so I've got my fingers crossed they make it! Enjoy your day!!!

Beautiful card Glenda!! I love birch trees too and your card makes me feel like I'm walking outside. I smiled when you said your card makes you smile... as our creations should. Sounds like you have been very busy gardening. I spent a couple hours outside this morning spraying weeds and putting out pine needles... and enjoying all the flowers! The flox is in full bloom... last of the daffodils... dogwoods blooming... so pretty!

I love birch trees as well, Glenda, I guess I just like trees period. Everything is leafing out, the Redbuds have bloomed and gone as have the Laurels, now it is time for the Crepe Myrtles. I love your card so soft and gentle like spring. Hope you enjoy your day! It is so hard to stay inside and craft when the weather is so nice!

This is beautiful. I love birch trees too. We don't have many here. I am so tempted to plant my garden but am waiting due to unknown weather conditions. We had a huge hail storm last weekend. I am sure your flowers are beautiful.

This is beautiful, Glenda! Love the stamp. I would buy this one. It feels just right to me. I'm feeling spring envy with all your talk of gardening. Any flowers that dare attempt to bloom are being beaten down by the rain here. It has been non-stop for over a week now.
