Happy Easter......

Good morning everyone!  I hope you had a good weekend because ready or not here comes a brand new week!

I'm here to share a little Easter card I made this weekend.  I have had the little image colored for a week or so and decided it was time to finish her off.  I colored the image with Ranger Distress inks and I typed the sentiment and printed it off my computer.  Some pretty Spellbinders dies (you know me, I always have to have a Spellbinders die in use) and a pretty bow and you are all finished.

Well I hope your day is a good one.  No matter where or what you are doing, I hope you can just "Breathe"!

Life is better with you in it......

Good morning everyone.  I'm here this morning to share a tag I made for Heartfelt Creations.

Heartfelt Creations Products Used:
HCPC 3519 Butterfly Medley PreCut Set
HCDP1 230 Sunny Day Paper Collection
HCD 730 Decorative Butterfly Corner Die
HCPC 3303 Posy Patch Flowers PreCut Set
HCD 701 Posy Patch Die

Other Supplies:  4 3/4” X 5 3/4" Piece of watercolor paper, Spectrum Noir Markers, glitter, copper embossing powder, Ranger Distress Inks, glue, Memento Ink, Scor-Tape, Lilly Pad dew drops, Versa Marker pen

Instructions: Cut our die and emboss with copper; glue it to tag base.  Cut a piece of paper to fit base and tear a section and roll the edges to form a V.  Emboss a section of the tag base where the torn paper will be and then glue paper to the base.  Use the Versa Marker pen and embossing powder to go over parts of the paper to give more dimension.  Glue on dew drops.  Stamp, color and cut out butterfly and adhere to the tag.  Find a sentiment that you like and cut out and tape to the tag.

The pretty papers did most of the work for this one.  Hope you enjoy it.

Well I'm off to visit some blogs and then back to play a little.  Hope you have a great weekend planned and that you have time to be creative!

Heartfelt Creations Wednesday....

Good morning everyone.  Can you believe another week has rolled around and we are turning the corner on another week?  Is it just me or is time just flying by?  It seems I just start one week and suddenly I'm facing another before I can turn around.  I am having trouble adjusting to the warp speed and need to have everything slow down just a tad!

This morning I have a card to share with you using the Heartfelt Creations  February release the Sunny Day collection.

I love the colors on this card and had so much fun working with the flowers.  All month long I have used this gorgeous corner die on several cards and have managed to cover it up or cut a hole in it or something and never give you a really good look at it.  It is a stunning die and I hope this card does a better job of giving you a good look at it in all it's glory!

If you would like to read the products used and the instructions for this card, just go over to the HC blog and have a look around!  As always you can click on the design team member's names on the side bar of my blog and go directly to their blogs.  Go check them out; I know you will find something to inspire you.  Leave them a comment, we all love hearing from you!

WOYWW #196

Good morning bloggers!  Happy WOYWW!!  Now if you are wondering what the heck this is, just head over to the creator of this happy madness Julia's blog and have a look around!  Each Wednesday a group of crafters around the world take pictures of their work space and blog about it and then link their blogs and pictures to Julia's blog.  Then we can click on the links and visit each other and see what we each have going on in our lives!  It is a wonderful excuse to sit here at my desk and have an extra cup of coffee and catch up with everyone!  I have learned to clear my schedule for Wednesday as it takes quite a while to visit everyone I want and I've only made it through the whole list a couple of times!  Some weeks I start at the front of the list, others I start at the back of the list and sometimes I just go here and there all around the block!  So come join us and let's get started!

I've been coloring a little Magnolia image for an Easter card.  Lots of "stuff" lying around needing to be put away.

A pulled back view of my desk top and the closet in this room.  I put storage in there and love, love, love it!  There is a highboy next to the door of the closet that has stamps in it and there is a craft holder hanging on the side of it.  It's sort of like an over the door shoe holder but holds little goodies instead of shoes.  And of course what picture of my house can be complete with a picture of Maggie's bed!  But then she is probably lying on my sofa as we speak!

I love that I was able to put a lamp in that closet, else I could never find anything!

Well that does it for me this morning.  I'm off to nose through as many blogs as I can today.  Hope your day is a good one and that you find time to be crafty!

Pump and Bucket......

Good morning everyone.  I want to share with you another card I made for Heartfelt Creations using the Sunny Day Collection.  I love these images and can see myself using these many times in the future.  I absolutely adore that old bucket.  I envision my "Bucket List".  That would make a great card don't you think?

If you would like to havea list of all the products used and the instructions for making this card, just head over to the Heartfelt Creations blog and everything is listed there.   There are so many gorgeous projects listed there this week and I just know you will find something to inspire you.

We are cold and dreary here in East Tennessee.  Yesterday we had snow showers and a high of 32 degrees.  Winter is still with us I'm afraid.  I'm so ready for green grass, flowers and blossoming dogwood trees!  It can't be long!

I know this has been sort of short and sweet this morning, but I'm really trying not to be too long winded these days.  Have a wonderful day and as always try and find time to be creative!

Can you believe today is March 1st. and we are spiraling toward Spring!  I'm afraid I have cabin/Spring fever!  I want to feel the sun on my face and smell the flowers once again.  We have been having lots of snow showers and winds whipping and March is definitely coming in like a lion!  I have been doing some Spring cleaning a little here and a little there so that when good weather finally comes I can go outside and stay there if I want to.  I am an outside girl for sure and long to put my hands in the dirt and start my gardening!

This morning I'm here to share another project I made for Heartfelt Creations.  I love the February release stamps, papers and dies(the Sunny Day Collection).  They have been wonderful to play with!

If you would like the products I used on this card as well as all the instructions for making it, just head over to the HC blog and it's all listed there!  While you are there, have a good look around.  There is so much creativity and beauty there this week and I know you will be inspired!

As always you can click on the names of the design team members and go visit their blogs!  Also don't forget there is an open design team call going on right now.  Jump in with both feet and give it a shot.  You have until March 16 to apply!  You can get all instructions and requirements on the HC blog!

Well that does it for me this morning.  I plan to spend the day in my craft room doing what I love!  What do you have planned?  I hope it's something wonderful!
