Just a Quick Card to Say Hello.....

I find myself trying to keep my cards very simple and easy these days and cards that can be mailed with one stamp. That rules out a lot of florals and dimension on my cards.  Anything very thick has to go into a clear box and it's $5 to mail.  It has to be a very special occasion for that kind of a card.  So today's card will mail with one stamp and it's colorful and glittery and the sunny yellow color just makes me happy.

You can almost see the glitter I sprinkled over the card front and I just love the sweet embossing folder from Anna Griffin called Cascading Floral Lace.  I've had this folder awhile but I think this is the first time I have used it.

This card checks all my boxes... all requirements for ease of mailing and a happy color as well.  I hope you enjoy this card as I really enjoyed making it for you.

Happy Birthday For My Stash......

I never seem to have enough birthday cards so I try to keep some on hand just in case I forget.  This is made using a cut out die from Crafters Companion and I did it on Purple cardstock under a white panel.

It is a very quick and easy card with minimal measuring and cutting and suddenly it is all ready to go! ( 4 1/4 X 5 1/2)

My Favorite 3D Folder...Fresh Daisies...

This morning I'm here to share with you a new card made using a 3D Embossing Folder.  Actually as the title states, it is my favorite 3D Folder because I adore daisies!  I'm entering this card in the Can You Handle The Pressure Challenge.  The theme this time is Anything Goes with a Twist of a 3D Folder.

I spritzed blue cardstock with water, added it to my folder and ran through my die cut machine then allowed it to dry.  Next I used white ink and lightly rubbed over the image just to highlight.   I stamped the sentiment and cut out and adhered to the card front...Easy Peasy and my card is done! I love it when a plan comes together!

I'm Still Here!

Good morning my friends!  I bet you thought I had moved on but I'm still here!  I have really been in a slump since I did my Fall cards and I just made myself do my Christmas cards and now I'm trying to get back in the swing of things.

This card was made using a die from Heartfelt Creations and florals from Elizabeth Craft Florals 31!   These were released as Fall florals and I fell in love with them and decided I just couldn't live without them!  These are the first flowers I have made in such a long time as I have a jar with loads of flowers that were left over from other projects and I just tossed them into the jar!

The paper is from Heartfelt Creations Cascading Petals Collection and I just love the sweet little bird down in the front!  I had so much fun playing and hope to be back soon with more cards for you!
