More Heartfelt Creations......

Good Monday morning everyone.  I'm here this morning to share with you the second project for Heartfelt Creations from last week.

The next photo shows the gate opened and what is behind it once it swings open.

HCPC-3746 Festive Gate Cling Stamp
HCD1-7105 Festive Gate Die
HCD1-745 Luggage and Tags Dies
Dove Blender Pen
Bamboo Leaves Memento Ink
New Sprout Memento Ink
Guacamole Colorbox Chalk Ink
Scor-Pal

Other Supplies Used:  Victorian Velvet and Vintage Photo Distress Inks, White Cardstock, Rich Cocoa Memento Ink, Dimensional Tape, Tim Holtz Distressing Tool, Tim Holtz Idea-ology Knob, Canson Watercolor Paper

My card is 6 X 6.  Make card base using watercolor paper and then cover it with a piece of the paper collection.  I dampened the edges of the paper and used the distressing tool to curl the edges.  Stamp and cut out the gate and used Vintage Photo and Victorian Velvet to color in a bit.  Then cut the gate so it will open and I used the Scor Pal to score it so it would swing wide. I cut a second gate and lined the inside of the gate so it would be more finished.  Now glue the gate onto the card front using dimensional Tape and glue.  I stamped and cut out the wreath and colored with inks.  I adhered it to the gate with dimensional tape.  Next poke a hole in the gate and install the knob.  Now find the pretty lady on the paper collection and fussy cut then apply with dimensional tape so that is what you see when you open the gate. I also put some leaves on the back side of the gate.  It was colored with New Sprout and Bamboo Leaves Memento Ink.   I picked out the sentiment tag from the paper and used the Luggage and Tags Die to cut it out.  I used dimensional tape to adhere to the front of the card.

You're an absolute Heartfelt queen, Glenda! Beautiful in every way. Love the fence and how you used the screw brad on the gate. Super cute to have it swing open on the card front. The rose wreath on the gate is gorgeous, too. So much to love here!

AWESOME! I agree with Leslie ... you are certainly the Heartfelt Queen! Your flowers, colors and designs are always eye catching BUT WOW a gate with a hidden treasure behind it ... what a fabulous idea and looks AMAZING! I was excited with the rose wreath but then when you opened the gate ... WOWZA ... what a beautiful creation! Well done (no surprise) Glenda! Hope you have a happy day!
