WOYWW # 373...

Good morning everyone!  I finally remembered to take a photo of my workspace so I could play along today.  It seems I'm always in a tizzy these days and I've been having trouble trying to get my ducks all in a row so I could schedule my post.

I am working on a birthday card for one of my grandsons and I'm using Graphic 45 Good Ol' Sport paper.  I always struggle with cards for guys and I'm hoping this one will turn out.  I can feature the finished project for awhile because I'm actually working ahead and I don't want it to be seen.

I'm so happy to be back among friends and I'm so happy Julia feels well enough to host us once again.  Now I'm off to visit as many of the names as I can!

Hi Glenda, male cards can be awkward can't they? It helps if they like sports. Have a great week, Hugs Shaz #24 xxx

What a fun desk, Glenda, now that looks more like mine! It is raining here again this morning, thunder too. Don't know how much we will get, but I will take every drop. Funny, we had the cats out at breakfast time and it started raining, Daisy and Bugsy just stood out under a tree and let it rain on them!

I have a hard time with "guy cards" as well! I do the best I can, but when in doubt....I just purchase one! LOLOL Great beginnings for you however! Have a great rest of the week! :) Blessings, Felicia #37

Nice busy desk, Glenda, and I love the sunflower card in your next post! Awesome! Thank you for your visit and your lovely comment, and I'm glad you enjoyed your virtual visit to our garden - yes Phoebe is really cute, and in her element in the compost heap lol! I so agree about the autumn colours - I love them at any time of the year. Hope you are surviving the heat. Fortunately it's cooled down quite a bit here, and it's a lot more comfortable. Thank you for your good wishes for my shoulder, which is getting better, and I'm looking forward to hearing what the physio has to say on Friday.

Happy WOYWW,

I'm sure your card will be fantastic. I have trouble with cards in general. I have to be in the right mood to make one. Blessings, LisaDV #35

Hi Glenda,

I'm sure the card will turn out great - all your cards do. Oh but I know the struggle of coming up with a "guy" card. It can be difficult but I know you'll pull it off.

I've been MIA and haven't been good about posting - all year long. Just in a funk. I have been knitting quite a bit, and will plan to be in a show in November.

I might have my condo sold and I've found a place that I will be able to have a designated craft room! I'm focusing on that right now and am hoping that it all comes together. We are in the beginning stages as the buyer is looking into financing. Wish me luck!

Hugs,
Kay

Sorry I'm so late in replying, have been away for a couple of days. Thank you for dropping by my desk, it's good to see you again too :-) I like the papers yo're working with, the card will definitely be appreciated!

I wonder why so many of us struggle with 'male' cards? Perhaps we just buy the wrong stamps or maybe it is a guy fault as they don't all have hobbies as such. Am sure you can come up with some ideas - and solutions. I am so often in awe of your work.
Hugs, and thanks for the visit to mine earlier
