Purple and Green.....

Good Friday morning everyone.  I'm just running through this morning to share card I have made to put into my box for the nursing home.  I got a new Spellbinders die this week and I just had to feature it along with my Heartfelt Creations papers, flowers, papers and leaves.  Boy that was a mouth full!

I realize I've been MIA a lot lately and I promise to do better now.  Life has just gotten in the way.  It's Springtime and lots of yard work and it's time to plant the vegetable garden and I almost need to cut grass twice a week.  It has turned cold here for the last few days and it has slowed things down a bit so I've had a moment to "breathe".

I just noticed that the sentiment looks a little tilted but in real life it looks great. I have a thing about purple and green and I took white prills and ran them over an ink pad with my finger and then into a tray to dry.  I used the Bundled sage to color the prills as well as the center of the flowers and the seam binding.  These techniques really utilize your supplies.  I'm all about using things for different purposes!

This close up of the flowers shows how delicate the petals are and some of the detail in the Spellbinders die.  Can you see the string of hot glue?  I used hot glue to glue down the bow and flowers.

Well this does it for me this morning.  Hope you have a great weekend!

Glenda, this is such a gorgeous card! I don't think you could ever make anything "bad" with such beautiful flowers and ribbons.

I do love purple and green, too, and this is gorgeous! Beautiful new die you have there and, of course, you know just how to use it with your amazing flowers and big fluffy bow. I'm sort of wishing for rain so I can get some things done inside. The pretty weather has been wonderful, though!

I am usually not a lover of purple, but this is just exquisite, Glenda! As Usual, your flowers are perfection!
