Good morning everyone! I'm here this morning to share my final submission to Heartfelt Creations that brought me to the semi-finals!
I love purple and have used the pretty Delicate Asters paper collection to do some of the heavy lifting for this card. My flowers are made using the Botanical Rose stamps and dies. The petals are colored with Ranger Distress Inks and the centers are Prills. I colored the seam binding to match the leaves on the card and scrunched and tied the pretty bow. The sentiment is stamped onto a Spellbinders Beaded Oval die and that completes my card. Card size is 5 1/2 X 5 1/2! I really love how these flowers turned out!

Glorious Sunflowers Everywhere.....
Good morning everyone! I'm up early this morning and I'm here to share another of the projects that won me a spot in the semi-finals for Heartfelt Creations!
I have been in love with these sunflowers since they were introduced into the Heartfelt Creations line! They just paired so well with the Regal Borders and Pockets Dies and I couldn't resist putting them together! I found a piece of sunflower paper in my stash (I'm not sure where it came from) and used that to make a perfect setting for my flower garden! Next I stamped a sweet sentiment and this sweet tag is all set to hop into a bag with a little gift and brighten someone's day. I love coloring seam binding to match whatever I'm working on and then I make a sweet little bow to grace the side of the sentiment!
Supply List:
HCPC 3626 Classic Sunflower PreCut Set
HCD 753 Classic Sunflower Die
HCPC 3545 Open Leaf Precut Set
HCD736 Classic Leaf Die
HCPC 3363 Inspire Me Sentiments PreCut Set (Retired)

Heartfelt Creations Semifinalist!
Good morning friends! I woke this morning to the wonderful news that I made it to the semifinalists list for the Heartfelt Creations design team! I'm so excited and humbled to be chosen as there is a huge amount of talent on this list and I just hope I can come through to the other side!
Here is one of the pieces I submitted and it's a passion of mine. It's an album cover using all Heartfelt Creations flower stamps and dies and papers! I have fallen in love with these books and love creating them one after the other. I never tire of working on these pages.
I used the Once Upon a Time paper collection and an abundance of different flowers! I have been a Heartfelt Creations girl ever since I was introduced to their products. Many years ago a friend emailed me and said why don't you try out for their team. I tried out and made the team and never looked back. All those years I continued to use their products and remain on their Alumni Design Team! When I use Heartfelt Creations products I feel like I have come home!
Now I could use your help; go to the link below and vote for me! It would mean so much for me to be a member of their design team again! Come back and visit me often...we'll have coffee and chat!
The link showing the finalists and the place to vote is here: http://heartfeltcreations.us/blog/

February Heartfelt Creations Alumni Design Team Blog Hop
Good morning everyone and welcome to the February Heartfelt Creations Alumni Blog Hop! The hop runs from today until Friday, February 26 at midnight. There will be a $25 gift certificate to Heartfelt Creations given away so take this time to leave a comment on as many blogs as you can. You never know which blog will have the winning comment! We will announce the winner at Noon on Saturday, February 27.
I love tags so I decided to make one using the Once Upon a Time paper collection. These gorgeous papers do most of the heavy lifting for me! I cut out the tag and die cut one of the Ornate Borders and Pockets dies at the top. I think it gives such an over the top look and it's quite elegant. It really looks like you went the extra mile making this but it is a quick and easy addition. All I had to do was decide which die to use and then take all the credit! My flower is made using the Arianna Blooms stamps and die. I stamped and die cut the flower petals then I used distress inks to color. Bundled Sage in the center and Victorian Velvet for the outer edges of the petals. The center is Gold Gala Glitz. I sprayed water on the back side of the petals and then shaped my petals and once dry I stacked them to form this flower. A little tip about the coloring process: When using distress inks (they are water based) spray on the back side to keep water away from color. Also the inks don't run as much if they are dry before you spray the water. You can use a heat gun to dry the ink and then continue shaping your petals. Next be sure to color your ribbon or seam binding to match your flower and tie a pretty bow!
The sentiment is just a piece of the paper cut out and matted on cardstock. How thoughtful of Heartfelt Creations to include that for me!
Participating Designers:
Caroline Duncan

Mini Page - Once Upon a Time
Good morning friends. I am here this rainy Monday morning to share with you a page of my latest mini-album. I always say mini, but it's not mini at all. I love the 8 1/2 X 6 1/2 size and am totally addicted to these wonderful pieces of art.
This page has a corner pocket made using a die cut from Heartfelt Creations. The paper as well as the flower stamps and dies are also from Heartfelt Creations. I love the gorgeous colors used in these papers and I coordinated my seam binding and flower colors to match. I also used some pretty lace along the top of the page and some bling along the curve of the pocket. To make the tags, I just cut out a piece of the paper and backed it with black cardstock. As you can see I love using Heartfelt Creations products and making my own pieces to decorate my album.
That's it for me this morning. Be sure and come back tomorrow morning as the Heartfelt Creations Alumni Design Team will be having our monthly blog hop. Hope to see you then!

WOYWW #350
Good Wednesday morning and welcome to another WOYWW! If you are curious about this just head over to Julia's blog and have a look around. Each Wednesday Julia hosts this get together of like minded crafters and we link our blogs to her blog and then we can visit each other. It is always wonderful to peep over your shoulder and see what is going on in your world.
As you can see I am making flowers, flowers and more flowers. I made several but decided I needed a few more for the current mini album I am making. I'm using Heartfelt creations Raindrops on Roses designer paper and there are such lovely shades of mauve, green and purples in the paper. I also have been working on some butterflies to match but I don't see any of them lying about in this photo. The black case carries some of my shaping tools and there are some of those lying off to the right side of the photo. I spray a little bit of water on the back of the petals and use a stylus to shape by laying the petal on this mat and rubbing the stylus over the backside. I love making my own flowers, leaves and butterflies to match the papers. I think homemade embellishments are simply the best.
Well that's it for me this morning. I'm off to visit as many of you as I can.
Hope your day is filled with joy and that you remember to 'Breathe'.

Have a Wonderful Birthday......
Good morning everyone. I'm here this morning sharing a new birthday tag I have made.
It seems like I'm always creating things for birthdays, but I never seem to have enough greetings to send for family and friends. This tag is made with Heartfelt Creations products and the Raindrops on Roses paper does most of the heavy lifting. I just did a bit of stamping and die cutting and tied a little bow and topped with a cute little purple flower. Then it is out the door!
Our weather in these parts continues to be terrible with snow and sleet and freezing rain and cold and wind and what more can I say. It's February in Tennessee!
Supplies:
Heartfelt Creations Raindrops on Roses Design Paper
Heartfelt Creations HDC1-779 Regal Borders and Pockets
Cream Cardstock
Seam Binding
Handmade Flower

WOYWW 349
Good morning from a cold and snowy East Tennessee! We are sitting at 18 degrees with a brisk breeze! Brrrr, but then it is February! I'm here this morning sharing my workdesk and then I will be linking this to Julia's blog for the regular Wednesday blog hop that spans the globe! We are a like minded group of crafters converging on Julia's blog as a way for us to visit each other and get to see what we have going on in our worlds! Julia is such a dear to give over her blog each and every Wednesday so we can visit! If you would like to become one of us, just visit Julia's blog; she has all the rules and regulations listed there. We would love to have you become one of us!
There isn't a lot going on here this morning. I have started my next mini album and have the book made and the covers done. At this point it is a secret as to what designer paper I'm using. I'm getting ready to make some flowers and have picked out inks to color them. The next few hours will be spent making flowers and little butterflies to go in my album. I also color my own seam binding to make bows for some of my pages. I'm totally hooked on these and spend many hours on decorating them!
OK that's it for me this morning! I'm off to link up and visit as many of you as I can! Have a great day!

Happy Birthday!
I'm here this morning in my never ending quest for the best and quickest birthday card! When it comes to these cards, the flatter the better; all the better to mail! And of course, able to leap over small buildings in a single bound! Oh my, I got lost in the moment. I'm all about quick and easy and it really doesn't matter if it can leap over a building. All I really want is ease in mailing and something that brings a smile to someone's face! After all, isn't that what 'Happy Birthday' is all about?
So there you have it. I used a piece of G45 Good Ole Sport and covered the base card and then cut out and matted a golfer and a piece of newspaper print and then I stamped the sentiment onto the newspaper! Very quick and easy. I always leave the inside clean and simple so I can write a message for someone inside. It is all about sending greetings one written word at a time.
Well this is it for me this morning. Hope you have a good day on tap and that you remember to breathe. I'm going to spend some time playing here in my craft room this morning!

February 1st. Die R Us Challenge "Love" (Use Hearts)
Good morning everyone and welcome to our brand new challenge at Dies R Us!
Our theme is "Love" (Use Hearts). This just works perfectly for me as I am thinking Valentines Day.
I cut out a Cheery Lynn Designs Sophia's Heart and then trimmed off an outer edge of the die cut so it would fit my card front. I used the flower dies and colored the outer edges with Ranger Distress Ink then I used a stylus to shape the petals. My sentiment is computer generated. Now it's your time to create using a Love/Heart as the theme and then link to: Dies R Us . I look forward to seeing what you do! Good luck!
Here's a quick review of the rules:
- ENTRY LIMIT: 3
- MUST USE DIE CUTS on your creation.
- DIRECT link to your creation, not your entire blog.
- LINK BACK to our DRU Challenge Blog in your post.
- NO BACKLINKING (no creation made prior to our challenge posting)
- No limit to sharing with other challenges.
