What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday #336

Good morning friends!  I am here to share with you what my desk looks like and what I have been doing.  If you are curious as to why I would do this, it's because every Wednesday I participate in this wonderful world wide blog hop.  For details you can visit Miss Julia at her blog Stamping-Ground.  She has all the details listed there on her blog.  We would be so happy if you came and joined us each Wednesday.

I'm working on Christmas now and loving it!

I have a little mess going on right now.  Plastic bowls with flat backed pearls, several bottles of glue and some pretty paper.  Also I have a pine cone and some Snow Tex open and I'm using a brush to apply the snow to a pine cone.  Next I will hot glue pearls to the edges of the little pine cone and some pretty ribbon to the top and of course the hanger.

I was checking our some of the videos on YouTube and found this ornament by Cynthialoowho.  I fell in love with it and decided this would really look pretty on my tree.  It's from her Christmas series in 2013 ...anyway here is the link to the video:

This girl is so talented and I just had to give this a try.  Well that's it for me this morning.  I'm off to visit and see what you all have going on!

I love the look of Snowtex. Such a pretty cone - a bunch of those would look ever so pretty sitting on a branch. Pity I don't have time to make a whole lot or I would. So tempting.
Hugs & Thanks for visiting me

I love the pine cone and will have to try making one for my tree - thanks for the link. I have a rather dried out tub of SnowTex so I'm hoping if I water it down a little it will still work - fingers crossed! Thanks so much for the visit to my desk earlier, I hope you have a great week,

Now that's the sort of useful internet browsing I like! Haven't seen Snow Tex in these parts for a while, but it can't be impossible to track down..what a wonderful ornament....you are patient, no doubt about it. So glad you're enjoying the Christmas prep!

I once also decorated a pine cone with snow, but with the pearls it is just so much better.butterfliecrafter#8
