WOYWW #300

Good morning everyone and welcome to What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday #300.  Now that has to be some kind of milestone, to have started a little blog hop that has blossomed into this little bit of wonderful for Wednesday mornings! I am so totally addicted that if I miss a Wednesday I feel like my whole week is messed up!  If you need a little more information about this world wide blog hop and if you need all the rules and regulations about it, just hop over to Julia's blog and she has everything listed there. And a big congratulations to Julia for creating this blog hop for all of us!

I took this photo late yesterday afternoon and it still looks the same this morning. I am making flowers again, something that I love doing.  The black kit holds some of my flower shaping tools and I'm afraid it is covering my cut out flower petals.  I need flowers to decorate these pretty boxes I'm making for my sister.  The nursing home needs boxes to hold goodies and I'm loving every minute of this. I just love a pretty box.  See the re-inkers sitting there?  The two new Ranger Distress colors are showing.  The Cracked Pistachio and the Abandoned Coral are my latest additions to my hoard.  I use distress inks to color a lot of the flowers I make so new colors just take my away with possibilities!

Well that does it for me this morning.  I'm off to Julia's blog and then on to visit as many of you as I can!

Hi Glenda, those boxes sound like a lovely project, look forward to seeing them completed. I'm glad the new colours are coming out one a month, lol. I like the pistachio, not sure about the Coral, I'm not really a pink person, but have to have the complete set, lol. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #37 xx

Hi Glenda, thanks for stopping by my blog. Box making is something I would love to do for my earings and pendants. I have a Cameo so I should really give it a go, one day when I get time.

Your desk is full, but no goodies for us to look at, my Glenda, you are keeping us in suspense this morning! Or maybe it is the fog at my house! Hope your day is blessed!

I do love your flowers, always so beautifully colored. I did spy a jar of snow on your desk. I chuckled as I had mine out last week. The flower boxes sound like just the perfect pick me up for the nursing home. They certainly will be appreciated. Diane #39

Making boxes for the nursing home is a lovely idea. Like you, I love a pretty box!

Thanks for your lovely comment and your kind words. Yes, it was devastating to have my surgery postponed so near to the actual event, but in the long run it is better because my hubby and I are now enjoying a fortnight's peace and quiet without Mum in the house, to rest and prepare. I feel a lot better, especially now we have the new date of 18th March.

Happy belated 300th,
