Before I get started this morning I just want to say that this is not my design. I saw this on Pinterest and for the life of me, I cannot find the video. So I cannot give credit where it is due. I wanted you to see how I make these because they are so handy and look so cute all decorated and ready to go.
I start with a plain brown lunch bag measuring 5" X 10 1/2". I measure down from the opening of the bag 2 1/2" and mark with a pencil.
Next I fold the bottom of the bag up to the pencil marks which is the beginning of your pocket.
Next I turn the bag over and measure the back and cut a piece of design paper to cover and then I go ahead a tape or glue it down. I've been using Scor-Tape because of the use they will get.
Now you can turn the bag back over and run a line of tape down each side of the folded section of the bag. Tape it down; this makes your envelope and then you can decorate this side. Let your imagination run wild!
Make them for kids, friends, husbands, mothers, cousins. The possibilities are endless. You can use pretty papers, ribbons, laces, flowers ...whatever your heart desires! I used Graphic 45 "Bird Song" paper to decorate this bag. I fussy cut images from the paper and popped them up and it is all ready to go! A really quick and easy project and they have so many uses!

Oh, I love this!! Thanks for the easy step by step instructions. I love the paper that you used. The fussy cut details really stand out.
I started a new position so I can't "sneak" visits in at work any longer. By the time I get home I don't really feel like getting on the computer. I'll have to see what I can do about that!
Thank you for visiting my Santa Fe post. I love sharing photos of where I live.
