Good morning everyone and Happy Valentine's Day. I'm here this morning to share a birthday card I have made. I'm afraid I didn't do many Valentine's Day cards this year and they are long gone in the mail. I just was not in the spirit of things for some reason. Usually I love this day and gladly share cards with friends, family and especially my grandsons. It just sort of slipped up on me this year for some reason.
This is for a male and not a flower in sight. I really distressed the edges with my Distrezz it All and then rubbed some Ranger's Distress ink on them. The time pieces were on a piece of paper I pulled out of my stash and I cut them out and popped them with dimensionals. Not a lot of fuss; not even a bow on this one. I like an easy card every now and then. I will tuck some money inside and write a little birthday note and send it along to my family member.
OK, that's it for me this morning. I'm off to get my day started. I'm needing to restock some supplies in between the two storms that have been coming our way. We had a good 5-6 inches on my front walkway yesterday and a prediction of another 1-3 overnight. Most of the 5-6 inches melted yesterday. Oh I will give you a quick look at my yard yesterday morning:
How's that for winter gorgeousness? It was pretty wonderful to have it, but then again I didn't have anywhere that I had to go so it was nice to sit by the fire and watch it snow!
Have a wonderful Valentine's Day and a great weekend!

I love this Glenda....I always struggle with masculine cards but this is perfection. Stay safe & warm....we have 9 inches of snow with about 2" of ice in between the layers.
What a fabulous snow scene Glenda, I wish I were there with you! Love your masculine card, hope the grandsons have nice birthdays! Love the distressing you have done. Have a fun day, hope you get the stores in! Happy Valentine's Day!
your card is gorgeous, love the colors......the snow is pretty, like you I didn't have to get out in it so...........
Great card! Love the colors!! Hugs!
Wow...that is a LOT of snow! Be careful! Love the distressing on this great masculine card. Did it hurt not to use a flower? xoxo
Glenda-your masculine cards are just as awesome as your floral ones. Love the distressing. How pretty the snow looks. I was hoping we would get some-but it was not to be. What prevents us from having snow also prevents us from hurricanes-so I'll be happy with that.
Bear Hugs,
Carol
Beautiful card and I agree... it is fun to make simpler cards. Your snow was pretty. Ours was too and it is rare to have 2 days of continuous snow for us in NC. Ended up with 15 inches. Forecast says 70 degrees next week...crazy! Have a good weekend!
Awesome masculine creation Glenda! LOVE all the distressing ... fabulous!
There's nothing more beautiful than newly fallen snow and like you, we are at the stage of our lives that we can sit by the fire and just watch it pile up. Stay warm ... hopefully Spring will be here soon. Although beautiful, I'm tired of the snow and ready for some green grass & pretty flowers.
Love the grungy distressed card! So different from you. I'm glad you shared it with us. Hugs
What a great masculine card!!! It is so different from your usual, but yet, still has your distinct style!!
Lovely snow picture! (even more so, because it is only a picture and not reality here, LOL!!)
The perfect masculine card, Glenda! You nailed it! Your snow is such a beautiful scene. I wouldn't want to have to drive in it, but being snowbound with a well stocked pantry and stamp room, a warm fire, and maybe a good book to read sounds lovely.
Great man card, I really like what you have created.
WOW!!! That's is some amount if snow. We have snow on the hills I see out of my kitchen window but down here in the valley we have very little.
Have a great week ahead
Hugs

You are so clever! I always struggle with guy cards any yet this one is just beautiful, and without your beautiful flowers! Love it! (We had the same snow and then three days of rain! Now it is a soggy, muddy, mess everywhere here!
I know snow is pretty and in December I love it. Here just way too much winter this year and ours don't melt for a LONG time.
Gorgeous Miss Glenda, I looooove all the shabbiness, fabulous card, thanks for sharing..
