WOYWW #237

Good morning everyone!  It's Wednesday and time for me to show you my work desk and my little mess.  Christmas is getting close and most of us are in a dead run trying to make it to the finish line. Yesterday was spent making cookies and fudge.    As you can tell by my photo the sun is shining and it is not early morning at all.  I cheated a little and took my photo yesterday afternoon!

I try to keep my little space neat as I work and I always thought of this as controlled chaos!  The gray board with the blue on it is my We are Memory Makers Envelope punch board.  I love this thing cause most of my cards are larger sizes and I can make an envelope for about anything I choose to make.  It has made my life a lot easier.  I've been working on a birthday card in blue and I will probably show it to you on Friday.  There is lots of glue around, it seems I'm always looking for a different kind from what I have; and I use a lot of glue in my card making.  The butterfly there is a butterfly die from Memory Box.  I have a huge amount of dies...I think i must actually be a collector...I'm always looking for new and different ones to use with my cards.  Spellbinders are my favorites but there are many gorgeous dies on the market and I'm not bashful; if I like the die, I buy it.

Now if you are wondering why I'm showing you my mess, just head over to Julia's blog and have a look around.  She gives you all the details there.  Just take a picture of your mess, blog about it and then link to her blog.  Now we can visit each other's desk and see what we have going on in our world!

OK, I'm off to visit as many of you as I can.  Wish me luck; I keep trying to make it to all of you, but so far I have not been able to get all the way through!

Did you know there are more things you can make with that envelope maker than just envelopes! Wow, I went on youtube and found so much-check it out if you haven't. I bought mine about a month ago with a coupon at Mike's. Yeah, I hear you with the dies-I feel the same way....lol I probably have more dies than I will ever use!!! Can't wait to see your Blue card. Would love to try your fudge too!!! Christmas is just one week away. Here's wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas. I am thankful for friends like you and the love for this craft we share.
Bear Hugs,
Carol

Good Morning!! I noticed the glue right off... and thought she's got as much as I do... lol... never enough glue cause they all do something different! Then I had to laugh at your statement of not being bashful in buying dies. I think it's true of most of us... and they keep making more!! Have a good rest of the week!

Love my punchboard too! Now, If I could only bear to give away the handmade envelopes I would be in business! I made a bunch for family for their Christmas cards. I see we both love the Memory box Butterfly too! Wishing you a very Merry Christmas! Winnie#51

Ah, man, I am coveting your neat desk, Glenda! I can't wait to shovel out Christmas and get back to being my neatnik self.

It is so easy to fall into a die addiction, isn't it? Last year I tried to not buy any new ones until I had used the ones I had once. How did that work out for me? Well, I did hold out until about June and then all heck broke loose!!

Happy WOYWW and thank you for coming to visit me and leave some love! I wish you the happiest of holidays!! Hugs, Darnell #10

You do such beautiful things with all those dies you collect. Came home with quite a few new ones the other day, myself. Gosh, you do have a lot of glue, don't you! Thanks for sharing your space, Glenda. I love these little visits!

I am not a wet glue fan. The drying time is the start of my problem with it. Im just too impatient! I see the punch board and start to understand the concept a bit more now...how clever!

Oh I'm way late, but had to pop in. Yes, I agree you have lots of fun dies. Happy Dance for you, just cause it's fun.
Catching up from being ill...man lots to do yet, and so many things away in the evenings.
We missed the snow, rain and ice. Hope you faired ok. Some places were a total mess. So sad with the holidays a few days away.
Enjoy the next couple of days.
